At first, I didn't notice, but with consistent use, I saw a great brightening effect on my complexion.
ConsThere's a slight stickiness, but it dissipates quickly. I was surprised by the initial warming sensation, but it faded soon after application, which was fine. As someone with super sensitive skin who can't use most skincare products, I was pleased that this didn't cause any adverse reactions or irritation!
TipWhen using this product in the morning, sunscreen is a must. If you're hesitant about going out right after application due to the warming sensation or stickiness, try using it more generously in the evening. I found success with layering in this order: serum - toner/emulsion - sunscreen - primer - makeup. This routine worked well for me when heading out!

The brightening effect is excellent. Among all the brightening cosmetics I've tried so far, this one showed the most noticeable results. As for blemish marks, they faded slightly. I think they would fade even more with prolonged use. - Almost fragrance-free. - Many vitamin C serums I've tried had overpowering scents. However, I appreciated that this serum is almost fragrance-free. I tried to use it for as long as possible before writing this review, which is why it's a bit late. I'd be grateful if you could overlook this just this once.
ConsCons: - It would have been even better if it had a lighter, more easily absorbed texture like a hydrating serum. However, I don't consider this a major drawback.
TipIt's best to apply this after thoroughly applying toner or a hydrating serum.

After applying it during my nighttime skincare routine, I noticed my skin gradually becoming more radiant! ⭐️ Improved skin texture → To be honest, I have quite large pores and significant texture issues, so I was skeptical about how much this product could help. But I genuinely felt a more refined texture. While it's not a dramatic, overnight change, I could feel the effects improving gradually. I'm not sure how it worked for others, but for me, I saw slow but steady improvement. ⭐️ Contains Ascorbic Acid (pure Vitamin C) When researching Vitamin C serums, I learned that they can be divided into pure Vitamin C and Vitamin C derivatives. For the full benefits of Vitamin C, it's best to use pure Vitamin C. The ideal concentration is 20% ascorbic acid, which is exactly what this product offers - that's why I love it! Oh, and because it's pure Vitamin C, I'd recommend those with super sensitive skin to opt for products with Vitamin C derivatives instead.
Cons🧐 Warming sensation and tingling Hmm... I understand it's due to the Vitamin C, but I found it quite tingly. On the first day, I applied it alone and it stung quite a bit, so from the next day onwards, I mixed it with other products before applying. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I usually avoid products that cause a warming sensation, so I was a bit disappointed that this one felt warm and tingly. However, mixing it with other products definitely reduces the tingling! 🧐 Absorption While others praised its absorption, I personally didn't find it great. I really don't get along well with oily products, and this one just felt... meh. There's this feeling of it sticking to my skin after application that I'm not fond of.
Tip⭐️ It's better to introduce Vitamin C serums gradually rather than applying them directly to your skin at full strength. During the adjustment period, slowly increase the amount you use to let your skin adapt! I spent about 10 days gradually increasing the amount. I applied it mixed with other hydrating products rather than using it alone! ⭐️🎈 For maximum effectiveness, try mixing a small amount of the serum with a moisturizer and then applying a modeling mask. The results are truly amazing - highly recommended! 👍🎈

While it's not super noticeable in photos, after using it consistently for about a week, my skin didn't necessarily become whiter, but it definitely looked brighter! I don't have particularly dark skin, but I had a lot of blemish marks on my fair skin, and those have become more even-toned. I'd recommend this to anyone struggling with acne scars or those looking to brighten their complexion. When I first used it, I thought it didn't suit me because it felt oily and had a slight tingling sensation, but apparently that's typical for vitamin serums. It actually tingles less than other brands my friend uses. The oil-based formula absorbs well. When you apply it, you can feel a slight warmth on your skin as it's absorbed.
ConsUsing this on skin with active blemishes can be quite uncomfortable due to the tingling sensation. It's more suitable for skin with acne scars! The combination of the oil-based formula, slight warming sensation, and the characteristic tingling of vitamin serums means it's not recommended for super sensitive skin. The product packaging needs improvement. It leaks too easily... I'm not sure if it's leaking or bursting, but small amounts of the yellow, sticky substance keep seeping out. It's making my vanity messy, which is frustrating.
TipTo reduce irritation, instead of using the vitamin serum alone, try mixing it with a small amount of hydrating serum or moisturizer. If using as part of your morning routine, don't forget to apply sunscreen for skin protection! Otherwise, I'd recommend using it as part of your night care routine.

Cons- May cause tingling sensation depending on skin type. - Despite being oil-free, it has an oil-like texture with a rich feel and leaves residue on the skin. - Seems to trigger more blemishes when used on already troubled or compromised skin.
Tip- As the oil-like texture doesn't suit my skin well, applying it all over my face causes blemishes. I'm using it only around the eyes or on areas with hyperpigmentation.

Your complexion becomes visibly radiant. - As someone who frequently uses brightening products, I feel this might be the most well-formulated cosmetic for brightening. It's not just relying on common ingredients like niacinamide for its whitening claim, but seems to have the most effective combination of ingredients truly beneficial for skin brightening. - I was worried about potential hives or skin reactions due to the potency of the brightening ingredients, but I experienced no such issues.
Cons- There's a distinct scent, somewhat like iron (?). It's not particularly bothersome though. - Even though my skin is generally resilient to irritation, I do feel a slight tingling sensation. - Given the quality ingredients, I had hoped for improvement in blemishes too. However, perhaps due to the short usage period (less than 2 weeks), the effect on blemishes is unclear, much like other cosmetics. (The attached photos show the changes in my most problematic area with blemishes, from day 1 to review day. While there seems to be significant variation depending on the day, there's no major change overall.)
Tip- The instructions say to apply it on clean skin, without any other products. It's easy to miss as the text on the package is quite small, but I followed the usage guidelines. - Refrigeration is a must! - It could be potentially irritating, so start with small amounts!

I apply one pump before bed after cleansing, followed by a moisturizer. Texture: It feels quite rich, leaving a slick coating sensation even after applying moisturizer. Perhaps because of this, my skin didn't feel dry in the morning despite the cold weather. Experience: This is the gentlest brightening serum I've used so far! Even highly effective serums I've tried before would cause slight blemishes around my eyes that would come and go, but this product didn't cause any skin issues at all! Results: Rather than dramatically whitening my skin, I noticed that blemish marks faded, resulting in a more even complexion and clearer-looking skin.
ConsThe pump comes separately, requiring the user to attach it themselves, which made me wonder why it wasn't pre-assembled... The effects don't seem particularly dramatic... Also, since the product is quite rich, I think those with oily skin might develop blemishes if they use more than one pump.

I was a bit worried about it being oily, but while it feels rich at first, it absorbs incredibly well. Even when layered with a hydrating aloe gel, there's no greasy residue - just a moisturized, fresh finish. My skin responds really well to vitamin C, so I noticed brightening effects quickly. I already have fair skin (shade 17), but this made it look even more translucent. Even during my period, I didn't experience any skin flare-ups.
ConsI can't think of any real downsides. Just a note - since it has a high vitamin concentration, those who usually don't tolerate vitamin products well should do a patch test first.

Using it twice a day, morning and night, definitely seems to brighten my complexion. I switched to this after trying an intensively advertised brightening serum on Instagram, and the whitening effect seems comparable. It's also great for hydration, making it perfect to apply before bed!
ConsI didn't find any downsides. All other brightening serums come in small quantities with high price tags, so I've come to accept it. The effectiveness wasn't bad either.
TipAfter applying the Vitamin C serum, I'd recommend following up with a hydrating emulsion. It's best to minimize exposure to sunlight and fluorescent lighting as much as possible.

I was concerned about some slight pigmentation, but given my super sensitive skin, I was hesitant to use Vitamin C. However, I won the chance to be part of The Hwahae Testers and tried a Vitamin C product for the first time. It turned out better than I expected! Not only did it have a slight brightening effect, but it also helped with my dryness. The texture is a bit rich, which leaves my cheeks feeling hydrated! Surprisingly, there's no oily residue when I touch my face after application. I have combination dehydrated skin that gets dry in patches during winter, but it's generally oily, so I was a bit worried. However, I like that it's not an oil-based product. The ingredients are gentle and really great. I even recommended it to my mom!
ConsI haven't found any downsides yet. It doesn't cause blemishes and isn't heavy even for oily skin! However, the instructions printed on the product box were really small and difficult to read. That's the only disappointing aspect.
TipAs directed, I applied it all over my face like a coating right after cleansing. Doing so helps combat dryness! It seems to absorb quite well too!
