Slightly yellow with a bit of thickness. It doesn't apply like a serum as I expected, but feels more oily. When applying, it doesn't spread easily, more like a viscous face oil? Seems perfect for winter or dry transitional seasons.
ConsAbout 30 seconds after applying, I felt a tingling sensation around my mouth and cheekbones. I don't have super sensitive skin, but it seems to react a bit depending on my skin condition.

After applying it during my nighttime skincare routine, I noticed my skin gradually becoming more radiant! ⭐️ Improved skin texture → To be honest, I have quite large pores and significant texture issues, so I was skeptical about how much this product could help. But I genuinely felt a more refined texture. While it's not a dramatic, overnight change, I could feel the effects improving gradually. I'm not sure how it worked for others, but for me, I saw slow but steady improvement. ⭐️ Contains Ascorbic Acid (pure Vitamin C) When researching Vitamin C serums, I learned that they can be divided into pure Vitamin C and Vitamin C derivatives. For the full benefits of Vitamin C, it's best to use pure Vitamin C. The ideal concentration is 20% ascorbic acid, which is exactly what this product offers - that's why I love it! Oh, and because it's pure Vitamin C, I'd recommend those with super sensitive skin to opt for products with Vitamin C derivatives instead.
Cons🧐 Warming sensation and tingling Hmm... I understand it's due to the Vitamin C, but I found it quite tingly. On the first day, I applied it alone and it stung quite a bit, so from the next day onwards, I mixed it with other products before applying. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I usually avoid products that cause a warming sensation, so I was a bit disappointed that this one felt warm and tingly. However, mixing it with other products definitely reduces the tingling! 🧐 Absorption While others praised its absorption, I personally didn't find it great. I really don't get along well with oily products, and this one just felt... meh. There's this feeling of it sticking to my skin after application that I'm not fond of.
Tip⭐️ It's better to introduce Vitamin C serums gradually rather than applying them directly to your skin at full strength. During the adjustment period, slowly increase the amount you use to let your skin adapt! I spent about 10 days gradually increasing the amount. I applied it mixed with other hydrating products rather than using it alone! ⭐️🎈 For maximum effectiveness, try mixing a small amount of the serum with a moisturizer and then applying a modeling mask. The results are truly amazing - highly recommended! 👍🎈

While it's not super noticeable in photos, after using it consistently for about a week, my skin didn't necessarily become whiter, but it definitely looked brighter! I don't have particularly dark skin, but I had a lot of blemish marks on my fair skin, and those have become more even-toned. I'd recommend this to anyone struggling with acne scars or those looking to brighten their complexion. When I first used it, I thought it didn't suit me because it felt oily and had a slight tingling sensation, but apparently that's typical for vitamin serums. It actually tingles less than other brands my friend uses. The oil-based formula absorbs well. When you apply it, you can feel a slight warmth on your skin as it's absorbed.
ConsUsing this on skin with active blemishes can be quite uncomfortable due to the tingling sensation. It's more suitable for skin with acne scars! The combination of the oil-based formula, slight warming sensation, and the characteristic tingling of vitamin serums means it's not recommended for super sensitive skin. The product packaging needs improvement. It leaks too easily... I'm not sure if it's leaking or bursting, but small amounts of the yellow, sticky substance keep seeping out. It's making my vanity messy, which is frustrating.
TipTo reduce irritation, instead of using the vitamin serum alone, try mixing it with a small amount of hydrating serum or moisturizer. If using as part of your morning routine, don't forget to apply sunscreen for skin protection! Otherwise, I'd recommend using it as part of your night care routine.

I used to use it occasionally in ampoule form! The oily texture is similar to the product I used before, so it was fine for me. Being in a pump bottle, I feel like it might oxidize more slowly compared to dropper-type containers!
ConsThe oily texture can be quite divisive. I try to apply it as thinly as possible, but it's not easy. It's difficult for someone who hasn't used vitamin C before to start directly with 20% concentration. The burning sensation and tingling can be quite intense. You need to gradually increase the concentration. For those in their 20s, I'd recommend starting with a lower concentration product.
TipAfter using a low pH cleanser or toner, apply one pump to your entire face. Wait for 2-4 minutes to allow it to absorb, then apply your moisturizer.

Cons- May cause tingling sensation depending on skin type. - Despite being oil-free, it has an oil-like texture with a rich feel and leaves residue on the skin. - Seems to trigger more blemishes when used on already troubled or compromised skin.
Tip- As the oil-like texture doesn't suit my skin well, applying it all over my face causes blemishes. I'm using it only around the eyes or on areas with hyperpigmentation.

I used it every other day to avoid irritation, but even with that sparse use, I could see results. I can only imagine how much it could improve dark spots with consistent, long-term use. The texture is interesting - not sticky, but not watery either. It's like a very light oil, though it's oil-free, so that might just be my perception.
ConsDue to the high concentration, it stung a bit around my eyes on my sensitive skin. While I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging, the instructions were quite faint and hard to read. It would be great if they could improve the legibility of that part.

To be honest, I found more drawbacks than benefits. Before applying it to my face, I tested it on the back of my hand. I noticed a warming sensation when spreading it, which was disappointing for someone like me who's been focusing on products with a cooling effect lately. I was also quite let down by the texture. After applying the product, there was a slight oily feeling that lingered on the skin's surface before slowly absorbing. I prefer formulas with less oil that absorb quickly into the skin, so this was a letdown during use. Also, when I applied it to areas with acne scars, there was a mild tingling sensation. Avoid applying it to wounded areas!
ConsI couldn't clearly confirm the product's effectiveness during the Hwahae Testers period. However, I plan to continue using it to improve my blemishes! P.S. Avoid applying it around the eye area... I mistakenly applied it there and it stung quite a bit.

It's not completely fragrance-free, but has a subtle herbal aroma that isn't distracting. Since it's just the natural scent of the ingredients without added fragrances, you can use it with peace of mind. ✔️ Hydration I used to think vitamin-infused products were drying, but this one pleasantly surprised me by offering both brightening and hydration benefits! ✔️ Water-free and Oil-free Vitamin C reportedly degrades quickly when it comes into contact with water. That's why this product is water-free, and amazingly, it's also oil-free while still maintaining this texture and hydration level, which I find impressive and beneficial.
Cons✔️ Texture I'm still getting used to applying an oil-like texture as the first step after cleansing, since I've always followed the rule of 'apply products from lightest to heaviest texture.' But I think I'll get accustomed to it with time. ✔️ Sensitivity Being a highly concentrated vitamin product, it can cause a tingling or burning sensation when applied to sensitive or irritated skin. For those with very sensitive skin, I'd recommend using a smaller amount or mixing it with another compatible product to dilute it. ✔️ Packaging I appreciate the eco-friendly packaging approach! The paper cushioning and environmentally friendly box with soy ink printing are great. However, I was disappointed that the text printed on the box was smudged to the point of being illegible.
TipI mainly apply this in the evening rather than the morning. Since the texture isn't particularly light, I worry it might interfere with makeup application. If you do use it in the morning, don't forget to apply sunscreen!

Your complexion becomes visibly radiant. - As someone who frequently uses brightening products, I feel this might be the most well-formulated cosmetic for brightening. It's not just relying on common ingredients like niacinamide for its whitening claim, but seems to have the most effective combination of ingredients truly beneficial for skin brightening. - I was worried about potential hives or skin reactions due to the potency of the brightening ingredients, but I experienced no such issues.
Cons- There's a distinct scent, somewhat like iron (?). It's not particularly bothersome though. - Even though my skin is generally resilient to irritation, I do feel a slight tingling sensation. - Given the quality ingredients, I had hoped for improvement in blemishes too. However, perhaps due to the short usage period (less than 2 weeks), the effect on blemishes is unclear, much like other cosmetics. (The attached photos show the changes in my most problematic area with blemishes, from day 1 to review day. While there seems to be significant variation depending on the day, there's no major change overall.)
Tip- The instructions say to apply it on clean skin, without any other products. It's easy to miss as the text on the package is quite small, but I followed the usage guidelines. - Refrigeration is a must! - It could be potentially irritating, so start with small amounts!

Effectiveness: Wow, what can I say? I didn't expect much, just thought it would be a bit moisturizing since it's an ampoule. But... it completely transformed my skin texture. I now have baby-soft skin! It's incredibly hydrating, and when I apply it before bed, I wake up with a honey-like glow. When I use it in the morning, my skin radiates all day long. Of all the skincare products I've ever used, this one has given me the most noticeable results. I'm definitely going to repurchase this 10,000 times. Please, never discontinue this product! Texture: It has a wonderfully fluid consistency! According to the description, it doesn't contain a single drop of water, yet it applies like water. It's not heavy at all and feels quite refreshing when applied. It's very moisturizing. The description mentioned there might be a slight warming sensation, but it's not really noticeable - just a gentle warmth, like your palms. It's not meant to be a cooling product anyway, so that's fine.
ConsBe careful if you have any open wounds or freshly squeezed blemishes on your skin - it might sting quite a bit. Also, if it accidentally gets in your eyes, you won't be able to open them for about 5 minutes! Make sure to apply it with your eyes tightly closed.
TipHere's a pro tip: Buy this product. Apply it morning and night. It's amazing. Just remember to always apply sunscreen when using it in the morning.
