I was worried about the overall redness on my face, so I decided to buy this product. I'm really pleased with it! Not only does it even out my skin tone, but it also prevents darkening. Since it's so effective at evening out the skin tone, it can make your complexion quite light. I usually use shade 19, so it was fine for me, but for those who use shade 21 and up, it's best to apply small amounts carefully. Rather than using it alone, I find it works better when mixed with a moisturizing BB cream. I always apply a thin layer using a spatula, and it's amazing how well it neutralizes redness even with a small amount. The spatula and this product are a perfect match! - io******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 5, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin prone to deep dryness, I always need a cream before makeup, even in hot weather. But I used to worry that applying too much cream would make my foundation look dull. This product solved that problem for me! It's fantastic for mixing with any foundation, and it doesn't compromise the foundation's benefits. I use it every day now. I wouldn't recommend using it alone. When I applied it as a base and then put foundation on top, I wasn't very satisfied. However, when I mixed it with my foundation in a 2:1 ratio (foundation to base), it kept my complexion radiant all day long! - so*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 27, 2025
It really evens out my complexion and gives me a radiant look. The staying power is fantastic, and I love that it comes in a tube - perfect for dispensing just the right amount. When applied with a damp sponge, it feels incredibly refreshing on the skin. After using it a few times, I noticed tiny red blemishes all over my face after washing. On days when I don't use this product, these blemishes heal. It's disappointing that I probably won't be able to use it long-term. - zz****Combination SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
If you're looking for something that truly brightens your face, this is an absolute must-try... While other products don't deliver, this one whitens your skin like you've just had a professional treatment Due to its brightening formula, you might feel it's a bit lacking in hydration... (This could vary from person to person) I'd recommend using it after a solid skincare routine for best results - ha********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 26, 2025
Highly recommended for students! It's not as heavy as foundation, allowing you to achieve a natural complexion. Great for those with yellowish undertones! A little goes a long way in brightening, so controlling the amount is crucial! It's both a pro and a con! - ba******Dry SkinMar 13, 2025
It instantly brightens dull areas of your complexion I break out every time I use this. I bought this and the lavender one, and even though I have dry skin and rarely get blemishes, this product alone causes painful acne and small bumps to appear... I see many reviews similar to mine. I purchased this along with the P* BB cream based on an influencer's recommendation. While it might work well for them, given how often they promote it, there are too many negative reviews like this to ignore. I've unfollowed them and I'm warning everyone I know against this product. If you've already ordered it, congratulations to those who find it works well... As for me, I had to throw it away. - pp********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
Highly recommended for those with redness. There's a noticeable difference in how visible the redness is when you apply this first versus not using it at all. It covers redness very effectively. However, if you don't have issues with redness, other brightening moisturizers would work just fine (there aren't any other standout benefits besides addressing redness). It's not extremely drying, but it can leave the skin feeling a bit parched. Also, if you don't apply it in a thin layer, it may cause your makeup to pill. - ze**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 26, 2025
* Color: Pale Green I heard many reviews saying it's matte, so I thought it might work well for my oily skin and decided to give it a try. Since I tend to have some redness on my cheeks, I chose the pale green color. The tube design with a pointed tip makes it easy to dispense small amounts. As initially promoted, it seems great for mixing with BB creams. I don't use BB creams myself, but after trying this product, I can see why mixing would be beneficial. The texture is quite thick and the tone is quite light, so it would likely work best when mixed with a thinner, less attractive base. When I applied it thinly like a regular makeup base and topped it with cushion or foundation, the results were somewhat underwhelming. While the light color is effective at neutralizing redness even in small amounts, its matte finish doesn't provide the typical makeup base effect of helping other products adhere well. It feels more like a concentrated brightening moisturizer. Even with my oily skin, it feels matte, so those with dry skin might find it even more drying. (I personally prefer matte bases, so the matte finish itself wasn't a drawback for me. However, you need to apply a very small amount... if you apply too much, it can make your cushion foundation look patchy.) Rather than applying it all over the face, I found it worked better when used sparingly on areas with redness like the upper cheeks, sides of the nose, and around the mouth. It helps neutralize redness and enhances blush application. However, I realized I could achieve similar results with a green-toned concealer I already own... so I'm not sure if I really needed to buy this product. I'm considering mixing it with foundations that are too dewy for me or have a slightly yellow undertone, to try and salvage them. But then again, rather than trying to fix an ill-suited foundation by mixing in this product... it might be better to just use a foundation that works well from the start. All in all, it's not a bad product, but it has some ambiguous aspects. It might be worth trying if you use BB creams and are dissatisfied with their color or staying power. Otherwise, it might feel a bit unnecessary. - wl*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 22, 2024
The complexion correction is definitely effective. I have a lot of redness on my nose and cheeks, but the green base really evens out my skin tone. I've been using this product exclusively. It's important to note that this product doesn't address yellow undertones, but rather focuses on neutralizing redness. For yellow undertones, you might want to try a lavender-colored product instead! - gl*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 4, 2024
It's great for achieving a natural brightening effect. I mix it with Pimong Shevie BB cream, which tends to be a bit dark, but this base evens out my skin tone nicely. The absorbs well, and whenever I do my makeup this way, I always get compliments on how good my skin looks! I have combination skin, and while it was fine in summer, it feels a bit drying now that winter's here. It improves if I apply a more hydrating skincare routine underneath. Mixing the Watercolor Base with Pimong Shevie BB cream is a winning combination for achieving that 'good skin' look.
