The scent is also pleasant and inoffensive.
ConsIt was fine on the day I used it, but the next day my face kept itching. I guess it's just not suitable for my super sensitive skin. What a shame!

Among the products sold at Olive Young, this one is relatively affordable and often comes with a 1+1 deal, making it a great value for money. Being tea tree-based, it has a slightly medicinal scent, but it's not overwhelming during use. It's great for summer as it effectively reduces facial heat.
ConsAs someone with blemish-prone skin, I've tried a few other tea tree products from different brands, and I found the immediate cooling and soothing effects of this one a bit lacking in comparison. After removing the mask, my face felt noticeably cooler to the touch, indicating that it did reduce heat. However, I didn't feel an immediate cooling sensation when first applying it, nor during the time it was on my face. While the kit includes tools like a cup and spatula, the cup is too deep compared to the spatula, making it difficult to mix. After the second use, I just used my own tools at home. The water measurement system, which involves folding the lid, seemed a bit imprecise. There's a tab on one side of the lid for tearing, but when I initially folded it without including this part and added water twice, it wasn't quite enough. The next time, I included the pointed part when folding and added water twice, but as you can see in the photo, it became too watery. It would be better if there was a water level line marked on the bottom of the cup. Lastly, while unavoidable, the powder is so fine that it tends to float in the air like dust. I always had to hold my breath while pouring it, and cleanup was a bit of a hassle.

It's effective for soothing the skin. The packaging is well-designed.
ConsThis is my personal assessment. The product itself seems too runny. Following the instructions, using 1.5 cups makes it thick, but with 2 cups it becomes too watery and drips. I've tried many modeling masks as I'm a fan, but this one is just mediocre. It's too runny and drips everywhere, yet it sets quickly, which is... I bought 5 of these and experimented with different water amounts, but I think the drawbacks outweigh the benefits, unfortunately.
TipSince it drips easily, place a cup under your chin while applying. Otherwise, it'll get all over your clothes.

Please keep that in mind. Real Tea Tree: Unlike the typical tea tree modeling masks that mask enthusiasts are familiar with, this one's different! You might wonder if it actually contains tea tree. The scent is definitely noticeable - it smells just like their 100% spot ampoule, which I love since tea tree works well for my skin. This definitely boosted my confidence in the product. Generous Amount: I was initially worried about the single-use packaging having insufficient product, but I was pleasantly surprised! There's plenty to apply a thick layer all over your face. Soothing Effect: As mentioned earlier, it seems to have a high concentration of tea tree. Unlike other tea tree modeling masks I've used before, which didn't provide immediate soothing effects, this Bring Green product noticeably calmed my blemishes quickly.
ConsPowder Doesn't Mix Well: Despite the powder being very fine, it clumps together and doesn't blend smoothly no matter how much you mix or add water. This was really disappointing. The clumps made it difficult to apply evenly on the face. Single-Use Packaging: The disposable container and included single-use spatula might be a plus for some, but it's a drawback for me. I try to minimize plastic use in my lifestyle, so the amount of single-use waste bothered me. Also, the spatula was small and short, making application uncomfortable. I ended up using my regular mask bowl and spatula instead. Price: While the price might be reasonable for a single-use product, spending around $5 for one mask feels a bit steep. It would be great if they could lower the price or offer a larger, multi-use size.
TipHere's my pro tip: Before applying the modeling mask, generously apply aloe gel or a hydrating ampoule. This doubles the effectiveness! Also, make sure to apply a thicker layer at the edges of the mask - it peels off much more cleanly this way. Any remaining residue can be gently wiped away with a sponge, which is quick and non-irritating.

It has a refreshing scent and a texture that starts creamy but then sets firmly!
ConsThe cooling effect was less intense compared to other products I've used, and the container takes up quite a bit of space. It might be nice if they sold a larger size or just the inner contents separately.
TipIt would be great if it came with a thin applicator stick and a separate spoon for the cheeks. Also, including an ampoule or soothing gel could be a nice addition!

The last photo is after using the mask! 💙 Scent: It has that typical cica scent, but it's not overpowering, so I think most people can use it without strong likes or dislikes. 💙 Cooling effect: There's an overall cooling sensation! It's not extreme, but you can feel a nice coolness while waiting after application. I personally liked that it wasn't irritating or burning. 💙 Soothing: While it's not dramatically calming, it does work! I regret not having a before photo, but my skin was a bit more flushed before the mask, and afterwards, the redness seemed to have settled down. 💙 Drying time: It dries pretty quickly! This means you need to spread it fast. If you apply it thickly, it peels off easily! 💙 Convenience: Instead of measuring exact ml, you use the cup lid to measure water by cup. This is somewhat convenient as you just need to fold the lid, but it's not precise, so you might want to adjust the consistency as you go. (This applies to other modeling masks too...) 💙 Overall: A product that's good for gentle, hassle-free use! Honestly, at the regular price of 4,800 won, you might be tempted to go for other well-known products instead. However! With the current 1+1 deal at Olive Young, it's definitely worth picking up and using!
Cons🤍 Dryness: I applied my usual light serum before the mask, and I did feel a slight dryness. I have combination skin so it wasn't too bad, but those with dry skin might notice it more. 🤍 Powder fallout: This is probably similar for most modeling masks, but there is some powder fallout. 🤍 Spatula length: It seems they matched it to the container size, but the tool is short compared to the container depth! This makes mixing the contents a bit challenging.
Tip☀️ I think it would be great to do your full skincare routine before applying the mask! Especially for those with dry skin!! (Even with my combination skin, I felt a tiny bit of dryness after just applying one serum) ☀️ When adding water, definitely don't put too much in at first. Make sure to add it gradually while checking the consistency!

It also gave me the impression that my pores were refined, which was nice. The scent wasn't overpowering, more like a subtle herbal aroma? I had fun vigorously mixing the pack when adding water!
ConsThe method for measuring the right amount of water seems too vague. I used the cone to add two cups, but it didn't seem enough, so I added another cup. It would be better if there were measurement markings on the container. As for the cooling effect... I'm not really sure about that.

The skin-soothing effect is remarkable! Even the blemishes that were about to surface subsided after using the mask. The texture sets into a rubber-like, soft consistency. The scent is like tea tree with herbal notes, which isn't unpleasant at all. The effectiveness makes me want to use it again in the future!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that this costs 5,000 won for just one use. It feels a bit pricey... Although the effects are good, the price point seems a bit high for a regular purchase with my own money.
TipAdd the water right before you're about to apply the mask! I prepared two masks with water for two people, but left one sitting for a while, and the particles didn't dissolve as finely. Still, it was good!

The tea tree scent is strong but not overpowering - it's actually quite refreshing. I used this after a nose pack, aiming for a soothing effect and pore tightening. It seems to have softened my blackheads a bit. After removing the nose pack, my pores appeared more refined and my skin looked smoother than if I had done nothing. The cooling effect on both my face and mood was delightful. What's more, the temperature-lowering effect lasted longer than other masks I've tried. My skin tends to heat up after cleansing due to sensitivity, but I didn't even think about facial heat for about 2 hours after using this.
ConsThere's a lot of powder that becomes airborne when pouring out the product. Once it dries, the thickly applied areas peel off easily, but the thinly applied parts turn white and become stiff, almost like a plaster cast. Getting the right consistency is challenging. Both times I used it, it started setting before I could apply it all over my face. I'm not sure if I'm over-mixing or not mixing enough - modeling masks are proving quite difficult for me.
TipThis isn't a pro tip, but rather my tale of trial and error. First attempt: It was my first time trying a DIY modeling mask. I'd heard it was good for pore care and calming the skin, so I wanted to see the effects. I double-cleansed and used a peel-off nose pack first. Following the instructions, I added about 1.5 cups of water using the folded lid, but it wasn't nearly enough. I added another 0.5 cups. I tried to mix it quickly and apply it to my face, but it wouldn't spread well. Before I'd covered half my face, it had thickened and the part on my nose was lifting. I added another 0.5 cups of water and mixed again, but it wouldn't dissolve properly. So I just slapped the thick mixture onto my face. After 20 minutes, I peeled it off. Despite the thick application, I was relieved that powder didn't fall off while wearing it. Second attempt: Total failure. This time, I skipped the nose pack and started with a clean, double-cleansed face. I began with 3 cups of water since 2 cups dried out while mixing last time. But it seemed even harder to mix. I stirred vigorously, took a photo, and realized it had already set. When I tried to mix again, the surface was smooth but the inside was already clumping. I tried to apply the clumps to my face, but they wouldn't spread and just fell off when I tried. It felt less cooling than the first attempt, probably because I was applying an already-setting mixture. I have one packet left out of the three I received, and I'm determined to get it right next time!

Scent The refreshing tea tree aroma feels natural, not artificial, creating a healing atmosphere as you use it. 2. Effectiveness You can feel an immediate cooling effect upon application, which helps soothe the skin. I particularly loved the noticeable cooling sensation. After cleansing and applying ampoules and creams, you often feel a warmth on your skin, but this mask helps to calm that sensation. 3. Application Even as a beginner, I found it easy to apply. It didn't dry as quickly as I expected, which was nice. Applying a thicker layer enhances the effects, and you can feel the cooling sensation throughout the entire mask-wearing process. When it came time to remove it, it peeled off more easily than I anticipated and left no residue!
Cons1. There's a bit of excess powder Be careful, as some powder can spill when pouring the mask into the mixing bowl, and there's also some powder scatter when mixing. 2. Water amount The instructions say to fold the lid twice and add about 2 cups of water, but I wish there were markings on the lid for guidance. I used 2 cups, but it was a bit runny. I think 1.5 cups might work better. With 2 cups, it flowed easily, making the forehead area a bit thin. As the mask dried, I could feel the warmth returning to my forehead. Make sure to apply a thick layer!
