I always make sure to stock up during buy-one-get-one-free deals. I even share them with my friends! I've tried all three types, and I must say, the Cica one is fantastic for soothing the skin. It's perfect after microneedling or when you've had to deal with blemishes - it quickly calms any redness.
ConsWith Bring Green masks, you need to act fast. Add water and apply it to your face quickly because it tends to dry out faster than you might expect!
TipFor an extra boost of hydration and a cooling effect, try mixing in a bit of water, some essence, or aloe vera before applying.

Cooling effect ★★★★★ I've been using modeling masks for a long time because skin heat can cause blemishes, excess sebum, and enlarged pores. Compared to the well-known L** modeling pack, this product seems to have a longer-lasting cooling effect. Even after removing it at the recommended 10-minute mark, you can still feel the cooling sensation on your skin. 2. Soothing effect ★★★★ While I'm not sure about its effectiveness on severe acne or multiple blemishes, it does seem to calm small bumps on the forehead and minor blemishes on the cheeks. I'd say it's between decent and good in this aspect. 3. Convenience ★★★★ Aside from being single-use (which is a bit of a downside), the package size is perfect for mixing. With smaller containers, the powder tends to fly everywhere during mixing, but this product allows for a much cleaner experience. The included spatula is also made of sturdy material.
ConsSpatula - While sturdy, it's a bit short compared to the container, making thorough mixing challenging. Powder packaging - If you're not extremely careful when opening, the powder can suddenly puff out everywhere. Water adjustment - The instructions say to fold the lid's plastic into a cone shape and fill it twice with water. I accidentally threw this away without realizing... So I had to eyeball the water amount, adding a little at a time while mixing. - The next time I used it following the instructions, I found that two full cones is too much! About 1.5 cones is just right. When I used two full cones, the mixture became too runny and dripped.
TipI used my own long spatula (the kind used in dermatology clinics)! Comparing thicker and thinner consistencies, I found that a thicker mix (that doesn't drip) maintains the cooling effect longer and is easier to remove. Go for a thicker consistency! Adding a drop of hyaluronic acid eye drops can increase the hydration feel. I use the included spatula for scooping out cleansing balm or whipped cleansing foam.

This product, however, lived up to my expectations. While it didn't magically clear up blemishes overnight, it quickly reduced skin heat and seemed to calm my tired skin as much as possible. My skin is particularly vulnerable to fine dust and heat, often resulting in breakouts the next day when I'm not feeling my best internally or externally. After using this, it seemed to prevent my skin from deteriorating further. Convenience: Many other modeling masks come in large quantities, making storage inconvenient, or require separate mixing bowls and spatulas, which can be a hassle. I often end up not using them before they expire. This product, however, was incredibly convenient with its single-use container that acts as a mixing bowl, a spatula, and even a paper lid for measuring. The individual packaging also makes it great for travel. Hydration: With my dehydrated skin, if I don't properly moisturize after cleansing, my face feels tight immediately, and I sometimes wake up with flaky skin. This product not only left my skin feeling hydrated after removing the mask, but it also seemed to help my subsequent hydrating skincare products absorb better into my skin.
ConsSize: I understand that the package needs to be larger to include the single-use mixing container and spatula, but those who prioritize smaller product sizes for storage might find this disappointing. In my case, I don't use modeling masks often and don't keep modeling mask tools at home due to hygiene concerns. I actually appreciated that this product includes disposable tools, allowing for immediate use and disposal.

It's similar to a regular modeling mask, but it's great for soothing the skin! The calming effect is seriously impressive. My face was red and hot, but this mask really helped. I genuinely recommend it!
ConsNothing bad to say! But it just feels kind of average, nothing too special.

The mask fulfilled its primary function, providing a refreshing cooling effect during application. This was particularly helpful as my skin had some localized heat and irritation. While tea tree isn't usually a standout ingredient for my skin, I found the blemish-soothing effects to be decent, if not immediately noticeable. I was relieved that there was no itching or tingling sensation while waiting for the mask to set, which was reassuring.
ConsBeing new to modeling masks, I was quite uncertain about the water-to-powder ratio when mixing the mask. I found myself wishing for more detailed guidelines on how to properly prepare the mixture. Clearer instructions would definitely improve the user experience.

The skin-soothing effect is remarkable! Even the blemishes that were about to surface subsided after using the mask. The texture sets into a rubber-like, soft consistency. The scent is like tea tree with herbal notes, which isn't unpleasant at all. The effectiveness makes me want to use it again in the future!
ConsIt's a bit disappointing that this costs 5,000 won for just one use. It feels a bit pricey... Although the effects are good, the price point seems a bit high for a regular purchase with my own money.
TipAdd the water right before you're about to apply the mask! I prepared two masks with water for two people, but left one sitting for a while, and the particles didn't dissolve as finely. Still, it was good!

While it doesn't immediately zap blemishes, it does reduce inflammation and has a secondary effect of calming troubled areas. * Convenience: Unlike typical modeling masks that come in large bags and need to be portioned out, this one comes in single-use packets complete with a mixing bowl and spatula. So convenient! It's perfect for travelers exposed to sun and outdoor activities - easy to pack and use for some skin relief. I used it on a trip and loved how simple it was to dispose of after use. This is probably its biggest selling point! * Texture: The consistency may vary depending on how you mix it, but it's generally a good modeling mask texture. Following the instructions for water amount might leave it a bit thick - I'd recommend filling the lid twice for the right consistency. * Scent: The refreshing aroma of tea tree is delightful! Closing your eyes while masking feels like an aromatherapy session.
Cons* Lacking Hydration: This mask seems to focus more on soothing than hydration. It doesn't lock in moisture or deeply absorb serums like some other masks. While this might be fine for oily skin types, those with very dry skin like mine might find the hydration insufficient. I needed to layer serums at least 3 times before masking to feel moisturized after removal. If intense hydration is your goal, you might be disappointed. * Quick-Setting Formula: Even though I tried to apply it quickly, the mask started to set and clump while I was still spreading it from my cheeks to my forehead. Adding more water didn't help smooth out the lumps. Since this type of mask is often used by beginners, this aspect could use some improvement. * Slow to Dissolve: Compared to other modeling mask ingredients I've tried, this one doesn't dissolve as easily as professional-grade products. Of course, this trade-off comes with the convenience factor, but it does require more thorough stirring to break up all the powder clumps.
Tip* To compensate for the lack of hydration, make sure to apply and let your skin absorb multiple layers of serums or other hydrating products before using this mask. * When mixing the product, be extra careful to dissolve all powder clumps. Apply the mask swiftly and confidently to avoid it setting unevenly on your face. * Don't expect professional-grade modeling mask results. This product is best for those seeking a soothing effect and convenience.

Skin type: Oily, blemish-prone skin While I didn't immediately notice any pore-minimizing effects, I was impressed to see that the cystic acne on my chin had significantly calmed down by the next day. This convinced me of its soothing and cooling properties! However, I found the user experience slightly lacking. The amount of water needed was more than what the instructions suggested, and removing the mask was a bit challenging.
ConsEven when mixing carefully, the powder flies everywhere. It's also quite difficult to break up the clumps of powder! The areas where the mask was applied thinly, especially around the edges of the face, were incredibly hard to remove.
TipAdd more water than the instructions suggest! Even then, I found the consistency to be quite thick.

The cooling and moisturizing sensation was delightful. Although I couldn't confirm its effectiveness on blemishes during The Hwahae Testers period, it seemed to reduce skin heat well, suggesting it might be great for soothing troubled skin. 2. It rinses off cleanly, which is more important than you might think. Some modeling masks can be messy to remove, leaving you worried about clogging the sink when you rinse off the excess. 3. It's user-friendly even for modeling mask beginners, as you don't need to prepare separate bowls or spatulas. I took it on a trip, and it was convenient not having to portion it out separately.
Cons1. I didn't notice any significant performance difference compared to other less expensive, larger-volume modeling masks. 2. The price feels too high for the effects it delivers. 3. While the container makes it portable, which is a plus, it also takes up a lot of space. This might not be ideal for those living in studio apartments who want to stock up.
Tip1. Mix in some ampoule for an extra boost of hydration! 2. Remember to dispose of it in the trash to avoid clogging your sink.

I even finished a whole 1kg tub once. Lately, I've been too lazy to use them, but I got to try these individually packaged masks and found them really convenient. As luck would have it, I was testing these during my pre-menstrual and menstrual period when my skin tends to flare up with blemishes and redness. After using the tea tree mask, I noticed a visible reduction in redness. The timing of this test couldn't have been better. While the cooling effect wasn't too intense, it was very soothing. The next morning, my skin looked clearer and brighter, and this effect lasted. Actually, this is why I used to buy those 1kg tubs of modeling masks for a while. However, the measuring and cleanup process was a hassle, so I stopped buying them for a while. But with these pre-portioned packs, it's so easy to apply a modeling mask right after a shower. The individual packaging makes them perfect for travel too. The spatula and case are high quality enough for multiple uses, so it might be nice if they offered an option to buy just the powder refills in the future. One thing to note is that it sets quickly. I'm not sure if this is an advantage or disadvantage, but it dries within 5 to 10 minutes of application.
ConsPersonally, I feel like there's too much waste produced. Did they really need to package the powder separately? Since the case is large, couldn't they just put a single-use portion of powder in there? In my opinion, reducing waste is more important than getting a vegan certification. Pouring the powder from the packet creates some dust. Even if you pour carefully, there's still some powder flying around, so it might be better to just have it pre-packaged in the case. Also, it's tricky to get the water ratio right. Initially, they suggested using the lid to measure water, but following their instructions of 1.5-2 lid-fulls made it too runny. It dripped onto my clothes, and I ended up only applying a thin layer on my cheeks. After that, I just adjusted the water as I usually do. It might be better to guide users to add water gradually while mixing until it reaches the right consistency. This mask seems to set faster than other modeling masks I've used. The instructions say to wait 10-20 minutes, but it feels like it dries completely in 5-10 minutes. I'm not sure if this is a pro or a con. While it's nice that a spatula is included for single use, it's actually a bit inconvenient for application. It's short and the blunt shape makes it difficult to apply precisely around areas like the sides of the nose. Overall, while the powder itself is good, the packaging leaves much to be desired.
TipWhen removing the mask after it has dried and set, you can easily clean off any remaining bits by gently wiping with a damp pad. If you have toners you don't use often, you can mix them with the powder instead of water. It's a great way to use up toners quickly.
