  I bought this after trying a sample of the Somi cream that was given to me before. I love it! It's a gel essence that absorbs well without feeling sticky, which is why I decided to purchase it.

  Cons

  While I got a good deal, it would have been nice if they had notified me in advance that the expiration date was approaching.

  Pros

  My skin is thin, non-oily, and prone to dehydration-related blemishes and sebum, which often leads to small bumps and extraction marks. I received 5 samples from a friend and tried them out. To my surprise, it's really, really good! The texture is non-sticky with a flowing consistency that transforms into a water-like substance when applied. After cleansing, I don't dry my face. Instead, I gently pat to absorb: First, about a coin-sized amount of essence Then another coin-sized amount Finally, I apply a toner + emulsion-type essence, finishing with a small amount of cream This routine quickly improves my troubled skin. Even with my 'blobfish' complexion, I've seen significant recovery. Products that work well for me tend to be suitable for most people. I highly recommend it!

  I love how it's moisturizing without being sticky! The watery texture applies lightly and absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves the skin's surface feeling soft while deeply hydrating, making it perfect for transitional seasons. The oil and moisture balance is spot-on, which works great for my skin that tends to feel dry deep down. It's gentle with almost no irritation, so I can use it even on days when my skin is super sensitive. Being fragrance-free, it's easy to layer with other products.

  I can't think of any downsides! The packaging is so convenient. When you buy it on sale, it feels like you've scored a great deal!

  I recently purchased this product! After being so satisfied with the Somi Treat Toner, I decided to try the gel essence as well. And it doesn't disappoint! My skin was dry, but after applying this, it feels so hydrated! Plus, it's not sticky at all and absorbs well into the skin.

  Cons

  There wasn't anything I disliked about it! If you're on the fence, I highly recommend you give this a try.

  It works even better when used together with the Somi toner.
