True to its transparent nature, this ampoule goes on light and leaves skin feeling hydrated! I'm definitely considering repurchasing. I can't really think of any downsides. I loved how it applies thinly without being thick, and it has a nice powdery finish! It seems suitable for all skin types - dry, oily, or combination like mine. It's great at combating deep dryness, so I definitely recommend it. If you're dealing with dry skin or feeling dehydrated, I suggest giving this a try. Lightweight feel: For those who dislike heavy, sticky ampoules that leave residue everywhere, this is a great choice. While many hydrating ampoules can feel heavy or sticky at the end, this product has a pleasantly light finish. Ingredients: It's great that it doesn't contain any harmful ingredients. I usually have small blemishes and get inflammatory acne once a month, but during the two weeks I used this product, I didn't experience any new breakouts! Makeup-friendly: I layered it twice for hydration before applying cream and makeup. You know how heavy ampoules can make your makeup break down quickly and your skin 'reject' the makeup? Well, I applied this ampoule in two layers, followed by cream, primer, concealer, and cushion foundation. My boyfriend even complimented me, saying my skin looked great today! Hygienic: The product comes with a dropper, making it very hygienic! After hearing that cosmetics can breed bacteria if left unused or in constant contact with skin, I've been looking for hygienic packaging. This one fits the bill perfectly. As it's my first time using an ampoule, I'm not entirely sure, but considering I bought it thinking the hydrating ingredients would be decent, I'd say I'm using it comfortably enough. You need to be careful with the amount you apply. After using it for a few days, my skin feels more hydrated and looks revitalized. The absorption speed is surprisingly fast. Considering the large volume, it offers great value for money compared to similar products. I was skeptical since I received it for free, but after using it, I'm quite satisfied. As someone with super sensitive skin, I love how comfortably this applies. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. It works better if you pat it in to help absorption. Those with extremely dry skin might find it insufficient.

It's been struggling to recover... With small blemishes popping up everywhere, I was worried that my oil and moisture balance was off. That's when I realized I didn't have any hydrating products on my vanity. Luckily, I got the chance to try Merje's Hydrating Ampoule! It's great for light hydration! Essences felt insufficient for the season, and regular ampoules were a bit too heavy for me. Merje's Hydrating Ampoule was perfect - not too heavy at all! In the morning, I apply hydrating toner, Merje ampoule, then emulsion. At night, it's hydrating toner followed by two layers of Merje ampoule! Then I apply ointment on any blemishes! After this routine and a good night's sleep, my blemishes calm down noticeably! While I do apply the Merje ampoule twice for night care, those with dry skin might feel a slight tightness. I certainly do. But using emulsion at night made my face too oily... especially since I need to apply ointment too. It actually hindered my blemish recovery. So even though it's a bit tight, I stick to just the ampoule before the ointment. I'm not getting those small bumps like before! My skin was in such a state, it was really disheartening... Now I'm just worried about red marks from old blemishes and texture when applying makeup. But I'm so relieved nothing new is popping up! The Merje ampoule comes in a generous size, so I can apply it liberally without worrying. That's such a plus! The dropper cap fits snugly into the bottle opening, which is good. It doesn't fall out easily. It doesn't bother me much, but I can see how it might become annoying long-term... As long as the dropper doesn't get scratched, it should be fine. Still, it might be nice if they could improve this aspect. Hmm... I can't think of any downsides yet. The generous amount that lets you use it freely is really fantastic! When I ran out of my hydrating toner, there was a period where I used a functional toner with the Merje Hydrating Ampoule. During this time, my skin deteriorated again. Make sure to use a hydrating toner before the ampoule! Texture: Not too runny, with a light, flowing feel. No stickiness, finishes with a light and fresh sensation. Skin type: I have combination dehydrated skin. Application: First off, the volume is generous. It's great for applying lightly. However, the hydration doesn't last very long! That's why I apply it 2-3 times when using. I wish it was a bit more moisturizing. For those with dry skin types - you might find it a bit drying! I recommend layering it 2-3 times as I find it helps to achieve a decent level of hydration!
