This muted red color isn't too intense, giving a subtle pop of color that adds a nice vitality to the face. Unlike other tinted lip balms I've used that often led to dead skin cells buildup requiring nightly exfoliation, this product doesn't cause any flaking - it's as moisturizing as a regular lip balm :) Best of all, it's vegan with great ingredients, so I can use it as a blush without worrying about blemishes. I'm really loving it!
Cons* The color payoff is a bit weak for those with naturally pigmented lips, especially for a bare-faced look. * As someone who doesn't suit orange-reds well, I found the color a bit disappointing. I wish they'd make a pink version! * The paper packaging, while eco-friendly, isn't the most convenient for taking the balm in and out.

The formula seems similar to other lip balms. It appears to be unscented.
ConsThe disappointing part was that it didn't apply smoothly when first used, which was unsatisfying. However, it might become smoother with continued use. Also, pushing the lip balm up from the bottom was inconvenient. If pushed too much, excess product comes out, requiring you to either wipe your hands after pushing it back down or use the cap, which gets messy. The orangey tint wasn't to my liking.
TipWith continued use, the formula softens and can be applied as smoothly as other lip balms.

I've used many balms with this kind of color before. While Monage isn't the most hydrating option out there, it's definitely more comfortable than lipsticks or tints. Don't expect an ultra-moisturizing lip balm, though. What I really appreciated was its vegan formula - that's a significant selling point. The paper packaging is a nice touch too. Plus, its slightly larger size makes it great for doubling as a blush.
ConsThe color is too warm for my liking. As someone with a light undertone, vibrant shades don't suit me well, but this one has a strong, deep orange tint. I suspect it might look almost brick-colored on anyone with skin tone 21 or darker. The shade range seems quite limited in terms of who it might suit. While I like the paper case, it's not the most convenient for carrying around. The size is also a bit too large for just lip application. To top it off, the design is a bit fiddly - you have to push from the back to dispense the product, then press down on the balm to close the lid. This feels unhygienic and often results in product smearing on the lid edges.
TipHere's a tip: when closing the lid, glide the multi-balm across your lips. This applies the product and pushes the stick back in, making it easier to close. I prefer this method as I don't like pressing it with my fingers.
