With its subtle shimmer, it's perfect for those wanting to achieve a radiant glow.
ConsIt seems my skin didn't agree with this product. My cheeks and forehead became extremely red. The redness disappeared once I stopped using it.

Surprisingly lightweight formula As someone with combination dehydrated skin - oily T-zone and butterfly zone but dry elsewhere - I'm not a fan of sticky or overly rich formulas. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this product. Despite being a hydrating primer, it wasn't heavy or sticky at all, which I really liked. That said, those with oily skin might find it a bit rich. Recommended for combination dehydrated or dry skin types! 2. Subtle shimmer that's not over the top I was initially hesitant about the shimmer, but once applied, it doesn't look glittery or like you've just slathered on sparkles. Instead, it gives a nice, natural glow that's quite pleasant. 3. Effective for dead skin cells and fine lines My skin tends to get flaky, so I rely on hydrating primers. After using this product and applying foundation, I noticed significantly less flaking. It's particularly effective around the eyes and mouth, minimizing the appearance of fine lines. This is the aspect I'm most satisfied with.
Cons1. The glass bottle makes it heavy for travel 2. While it helps prevent makeup from settling into lines, the longevity of the makeup seems quite weak 3. I experienced some mild skin irritation, which was disappointing
TipIt helps keep your makeup from settling into lines while providing hydration, but it can also make your makeup transfer easily. For combination dehydrated skin, I'd recommend pairing a semi-matte cushion with this Daisy C primer rather than a moisturizing cushion. For dry skin types, try combining the Hince Glow Cushion with the Daisy C primer for best results!

However, the Water Veil Primer feels as moisturizing as applying a serum. It becomes pleasantly tacky after application, making foundation or cushion adhere perfectly. I love how it significantly reduces the flakiness I used to get in the afternoon due to dryness. The subtle shimmer also gives a satisfying skin texture enhancement!
ConsGiven its serum-like consistency, I felt it didn't do much for pore care.

It has a subtle alcohol scent mixed with something reminiscent of Skinfood's Rice Wash-Off Mask. It's incredibly fluid with excellent absorbs, making it easy to spread. Once absorbed, it leaves a slightly sticky finish. Upon closer inspection, there are fine shimmers that catch the light as you move. This effect isn't cyberpunk-esque, but rather gives a very subtle, luminous glow. Pore Coverage and Skin Texture: This isn't designed to cover pores or even out the complexion. Instead, it adds hydration to the skin and creates a tacky finish that helps foundation and cushion products adhere better and last longer. Overall Impression: While it won't magically transform a dry foundation into a dewy one, this hydrating base helps moisturizing foundations stick better and gives the skin a healthier appearance!
ConsThere weren't any particular downsides, but if you're looking for pore coverage or complexion correction, you might find this lacking.
