Texture and Feel The moisturizing formula initially feels like the epitome of a hydrating primer. This product truly shines when mixed with other cosmetics rather than used alone. It acts more as a 'supporter,' enhancing the overall harmony of your makeup look. Strengths • Hydrating texture: It adheres smoothly to the skin, finishing with a moisturized feel without sitting on top of the skin. • Excellent compatibility: When mixed with various products like blush or foundation, it blends naturally without pilling, allowing for a transparent and vibrant 'clean girl makeup' look. • Versatile usage: When used for mixing, it refines the base's expression, elevating the overall makeup finish. Areas for Improvement • Lack of hydration when used alone: If you expect it to function as a standalone hydrating primer, you might notice some dryness over time. Especially for dry skin types, an additional moisturizing layer is necessary. • Limited base function: When used on its own, its effects on evening out skin texture or adding radiance are somewhat limited. Overall Assessment This product is recommendable as a 'makeup base mixer' concept hydrating primer for those expecting synergy with other products. Rather than expecting strong moisturization on its own, satisfaction is higher when utilized as a gentle link that balances the overall makeup look. - jo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinMay 20, 2025
The texture clings to your skin like glue. As for the rest... Hold on, isn't this supposed to be a pore primer? It actually emphasizes pores like crazy. I don't usually have large pores, but recently I noticed they looked more noticeable when I applied makeup. Interestingly, on days when I quickly threw on some makeup, my pores weren't visible. Just to be sure, I used this product again before applying makeup, and when I looked in the mirror, it confirmed my suspicion - this was indeed the culprit. I tried this after loving the Yeonjak line and was planning to repurchase it, but decided to give Daisyc a try instead... Now I can't understand why people say they're similar. It seems this product, marketed as a pore primer, is actually having the opposite effect for some users. Instead of minimizing the appearance of pores, it's making them more noticeable. This experience highlights the importance of patch testing and paying attention to how products interact with your individual skin type and other makeup products. - ye********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 6, 2025
Using this moisturizing primer before applying makeup definitely gives my skin a beautiful glow! While it does provide a dewy look and feels hydrating on the surface, it doesn't quite address the deep dryness underneath. - se**********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 30, 2025
I've been using this for about 2-3 months now, and I'm still loving it! Being a water-based primer, it's noticeably lighter than other primers I've tried. In the past, even with primers, my makeup would often separate or come off, but this product feels more like an ampoule than a primer. Instead of just applying it, I felt like my skin was really absorbing it well. While the texture is thin and ampoule-like, it's not a true ampoule, so after it absorbs into my face, I felt like the moisture in that area quickly evaporated. Despite this, I'm still quite satisfied with it overall. - 9w********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2025
Texture: A slightly viscous essence formulation that absorbs well into the skin. Hydration: Applies smoothly, leaving skin feeling moisturized. Skin Appearance: Once absorbed, it leaves a silky finish. When used under makeup, it imparts a subtle glow. Effectiveness: To be honest, the difference between using and not using this base prep isn't dramatically noticeable. - mp******Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
To be honest, I don't have large pores and my skin is generally good, so I can't say I noticed a huge difference. However, I can definitely say that when I use this, my skin darkens less and it helps with deep dryness. My mom tried it once and loved how it made her skin look, so she went and bought her own to keep using. How cute! For those with good skin and no pore issues like me, this product might feel a bit unnecessary. - ye******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesDead Skin CellsJan 22, 2025
After using this product, I noticed a significant reduction in visible pores and makeup settling into fine lines. The foundation applies much more smoothly. While it feels fine during application, I used my usual skincare and makeup routine with just this product added. Surprisingly, my nose area and under the chin became quite oily, forcing me to use blotting papers, which I don't normally need. The product seems to have a rich texture that might be too heavy for those with combination or oily skin types. It's effective for smoothing the skin's surface, but the oil and moisture balance might need adjustment for some users. - 26******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessJan 21, 2025
While it's called a hydrating primer, as a dry-skinned person in my 30s, I didn't find it exceptionally moisturizing. It might be more suitable for those in their 20s with combination dehydrated skin. I appreciate how other reviewers have compared this product to competitors - it's quite helpful. Personally, I prefer some of the other brands' offerings. The regular price feels a bit steep. Daisy.c is known for their excellent color cosmetics like blushers, tints, and eye palettes. If I were to buy from Daisy.c again, I'd likely stick to their color products rather than base makeup like primers. - hi****Combination SkinRecommendedJan 12, 2025
As someone with combination dehydrated skin, even when I apply the most hydrating skincare, my makeup would crack and come off after a few hours. But with this, my makeup lasts so much longer and looks great! It works hard to keep everything in place! Hmm... There wasn't really anything disappointing about it. I didn't experience any blemishes or reactions. It's best not to apply too much, as that can be counterproductive. Just use a small amount and layer if needed. - ch*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 9, 2025
I bought this primer because my makeup wasn't applying well, and it's truly amazing. Just one drop covers half my face. You don't need to use much - three or four drops are enough for the whole face. I apply it before sunscreen, and my makeup goes on so smoothly afterwards. Be careful not to apply too much. It's best to use just a tiny amount. Apply this before your sunscreen.
