I bought this on recommendation from a makeup shop. For someone with a lot of redness in their skin, they suggested it's better to start with a makeup base to brighten the complexion before applying foundation. This product is hydrating, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling too dry, and it subtly covers redness. Because it's moisturizing, it works great under matte foundations.
