For someone with a lot of redness in their skin, they suggested it's better to start with a makeup base to brighten the complexion before applying foundation. This product is hydrating, so it doesn't leave your skin feeling too dry, and it subtly covers redness. Because it's moisturizing, it works great under matte foundations.

My skin is fair with redness, and this product provides a natural brightening effect. It's not enough to cover blemishes completely, but it truly lives up to its name as a tone-up product. It slightly corrects redness too! It works as a sunscreen + brightening moisturizer + redness corrector all in one.
