Product Basics •Name: Jung Saem Mool Skin Setting Tone Correcting Base •Color: Green (Redness Neutralizing) •Volume: 40ml •Sun Protection: SPF50+ / PA+++ •Skin Type: All skin types, especially recommended for skin with redness ⸻ 2. Texture & Application •Consistency between a light cream and emulsion •Spreads smoothly on skin, applies thinly for excellent adherence •Doesn't instantly neutralize redness, but naturally evens skin tone •Semi-matte to velvety finish. Slightly dry feel for those with dry skin ⸻ 3. Redness Correction •Provides natural coverage for flushing, redness around nose, and blemish marks •Doesn't completely eliminate redness, but subtly neutralizes it while evening out complexion •Not too cloudy or dull, making it great for daily use ⸻ 4. Advantages ■ Thin and Natural Application •Spreads smoothly without clumping, even when applied by hand •Pairs well with foundation, especially the Jung Saem Mool Essential Nude Cushion ■ Reduces Redness + Enhances Makeup Longevity •Evens out skin tone at the base stage, helping makeup stay beautiful longer •For oily/combination skin, maintains adherence without lifting even as sebum surfaces ■ Built-in Sun Protection •SPF50+/PA+++ allows skipping sunscreen (though separate use is recommended for extended outdoor activities) ⸻ 5. Recommended for •Skin with flushing/red acne marks •Skin where makeup tends to separate or not adhere well •Those who prefer natural, lightweight makeup •Fans of Jung Saem Mool cushions/foundations
Cons•May feel tight on dry skin → Layering with a hydrating moisturizer and primer is essential for basic skincare •Correction is focused on 'natural' look, might be insufficient for skin with intense redness → Recommend using concealer in conjunction •Almost no pore coverage → Better to use a separate primer

It gives a nice, even complexion overall.
ConsIt feels a bit drying on the skin. Also, I have sensitive skin, and it gives me a slight burning sensation.

It's not enough to cover blemishes completely, but it truly lives up to its name as a tone-up product. It slightly corrects redness too! It works as a sunscreen + brightening moisturizer + redness corrector all in one.
ConsWell... first of all, it's drying. Because of this, you need to apply a generous amount of moisturizer underneath. You have to be quick and precise with the application, spreading it in one swift motion. Otherwise, it pills. Also, the pore-clogging ingredients... If I use this alone, I get massive blemishes.
TipI like the brightening effect, but after buying it, I realized some ingredients don't agree with my skin and cause blemishes. So, I've repurposed it by putting it in an empty cushion compact to use as a touch-up brightening cushion when I'm out. Applying it this way occasionally seems to prevent major breakouts.

That's why I often used it as a substitute for sunscreen!
ConsIt adhered quickly, but for me, it felt a bit drying. So I had to make sure my skincare base was very hydrating and fully absorbed, otherwise I'd experience tightness. If not absorbed properly, the foundation applied on top would break down and flake off... Those with dry skin should be cautious! Regarding the applicator, at first it was easy to dispense the product without much effort. However, when there wasn't much left, I had to squeeze hard on the part labeled 'cica care' to get any out. It requires quite a bit of strength, unfortunately.

There's no pilling. I tried all the brightening moisturizers sold at Olive Young and bought this one because it's the best.
ConsIt seems to make my skin feel a bit dry. As time passes, it also makes pores more noticeable. It's difficult to keep reapplying because my skin already feels dry.
TipI'm applying a generous amount of moisturizer first and then layering this on top. Even so, the dryness is unavoidable, unfortunately.

I use it on areas with redness, but it doesn't seem to cover that well. I think the skin-setting brightening moisturizer works better.
ConsFor my combination dehydrated skin, it feels a bit drying. The staying power is also disappointing...
