  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and used this product for 10 days from March 13th to March 22nd. I have oily skin, with my T-zone producing excess oil even in the dead of winter. I tested this during the changing seasons when my sebum production was starting to increase! The texture is very slightly viscous and has a light, runny consistency. It absorbs quickly, and after absorption, there's almost no stickiness, leaving the skin feeling fresh. While the key focus seems to be on soothing redness and addressing blemishes, I couldn't notice much improvement in blemishes due to the short testing period. I mainly used it when my face was flushed after blow-drying my hair, and it seemed to slightly reduce the redness, calming my skin and making it feel more comfortable. To sum it up in one line: It's a lightweight, moderately hydrating soothing serum.

  Cons

  The scent dissipates quickly, but I'm not a fan... It smells like unripe banana leaves..? Since it's not a particularly moisturizing product, it might feel too light for those with dry skin! It's just slightly more hydrating than a water-based toner, so even for my oily skin, I found it lacking in moisture for evening skincare! I suppose that's because it's meant to be a soothing serum.

  Tip

  It worked great as a pre-makeup base. Personally, I've found that some skincare products and hydrating serums marketed for 'glass skin' can feel a bit heavy as a finishing layer. No matter how well I pat them in, they make my makeup feel like it's piling up in thick layers, which I dislike. I used to just apply toner multiple times before jumping straight to sunscreen. However, this product only provides hydration, so it was perfect to apply after toner and before makeup. I'd recommend this for oily-skinned folks who hate feeling suffocated by products but still need that extra hydration to prevent their skin from overproducing oil!

  - Blemish soothing It had a significant calming effect on inflammatory acne! After layering and absorbing it several times, my blemishes quickly subsided! - Texture Despite its light and refreshing texture that glides on easily, it feels very hydrating. Even for combination skin, layering it provides a sense of deep hydration. I think it'll be great for summer use! - No irritation Free from alcohol and natural oils, it was gentle enough for sensitive skin to use without any irritation.

  - No improvement in pigmentation As it's marketed as a 'scar serum', I expected it to improve acne scars, but I didn't see significant results. - Hydration Since it's not very rich, it might feel a bit dry for use in the depths of winter.

  For a super soothing effect on sudden breakouts, try using it as a cold cotton pad mask!

  My skin type tends to develop blemishes on my cheeks and around my nose. With combination skin, even a slight imbalance in oil and moisture can lead to breakouts. Now, let me share my experience with this product: -Texture: It has a watery consistency that absorbs quickly without feeling heavy, leaving a fresh sensation. -Scent: There's a herbal or grassy aroma. -Soothing effect: After applying it to blemish-prone areas for about 2 days, I noticed a calming effect. Usually, I'd have to pop my blemishes, but with this, they subside after 2 days of use. I haven't had to pop any blemishes in the week I've been using it! ★I loved that it seemed to have a preventive effect, with hardly any blemishes appearing around my nose. Using it as a preventive measure can help maintain clear skin. ★The before and after photos show my skin before use and after a week of application. You can visibly see the reduction in redness and blemishes!

  While the scent wasn't my favorite, I can tolerate it for the sake of its effectiveness.

  Tip

  I applied this product after my toner, let it absorb, then followed with essence and moisturizer. For areas with noticeable blemishes, I applied this product again separately. Double application!

  Skin type: Combination/Blemish scars/Oily chin Texture: Almost 100% water-like, with about 2% viscosity Scent: Herbal? Clinical? Not strong, so it's not bothersome Application: Oil-free hydrating serum, great for oily skin types. Absorption isn't super fast, but it doesn't sit on the skin and leaves a fresh finish. Good for layering 5-6 times After-use feeling: Slightly dry except in oily areas. Dry skin types might need to apply more cream Effectiveness: Used after extracting sebum on chin. Currently using Lidl shot, so can definitely see calmed skin, but when used alone, it's similar to other soothing serums The fresh finish on oily skin is nice, might purchase when it's on sale

  I loved the subtle, natural scent that wasn't overwhelming. The lightweight texture felt refreshing when applied to my face! It didn't irritate my skin and absorbed well, making it perfect for both morning and evening use. After about 10 days of applying it to my blemish-prone skin, I noticed a slight but noticeable improvement - the blemishes seemed to calm down and fade a bit. I'll definitely keep using this!

  The texture is like a slightly viscous toner, almost water-like, giving a light and refreshing feel. Recently, I haven't had many blemishes, just a tiny bump here and there, so I can't say for certain if it's effective for acne. However, during The Hwahae Testers trial, one blemish that appeared did clear up within 1-2 days. The testing period was short, so I can't confirm if it truly helps with scar reduction. I'll use up the whole bottle and update later. What I can say is that my skin definitely feels smoother, and when my makeup settles, the texture is less noticeable.

  While it absorbs quickly even on oily skin, I doubt those with dry skin would feel much hydration. It's more of a summer serum. You'd probably need to use it with something else in winter. Personally, I don't find the packaging design attractive... Who would think this is a serum? But if we consider that they focused on product effectiveness instead of fancy packaging, I suppose it's forgivable...

  When mixed with a modeling mask, your skin feels more hydrated after removing the mask. It pairs well with Lindsay Cool Tea Tree for a nice cooling and hydrating combination.

  After continued use, I've found it really hydrates well. It feels like a super lightweight toner that applies incredibly moisturizing to the skin. The tea tree scent is quite noticeable. It's definitely effective in reducing redness - while it doesn't completely eliminate it, it does decrease by about 30-40%. The finish feels like it has zero oil, leaving the skin feeling wonderfully matte. For those who respond well to tea tree ingredients and those with very oily skin, this is perfect! The finish is so incredibly fresh that you could use it even in the peak of summer!

  It's inconvenient that the container isn't a dropper type. The formula is too runny to apply directly to the face, so I have to squeeze it onto my palm first. On the bright side, the container itself is soft, so the ampoule comes out easily. However, the tea tree scent is really strong. I wouldn't recommend this for those who dislike the smell of tea tree!
