  Today I'm reviewing the Make P:rem Inteca Serum~ First off, what impressed me was the texture and feel. It absorbs incredibly fast and moisturizes without leaving any residue. Even after a while, there's no stickiness or greasiness - it just leaves a clean finish, which I love. As for skin texture, you can immediately feel your skin becoming smoother after application. It also seemed to improve pigmentation and redness, evening out the complexion.

  Cons

  I didn't particularly notice any soothing effects on acne or inflammation... The product page mentions a well-balanced blend of various upgraded Teca ingredients, but I didn't see any real impact on calming blemishes.

  Tip

  Great for improving skin texture, reducing redness, and overall feel. A good hydrating serum. Recommended for oily and combination dehydrated skin types.

  I was really satisfied with how this feels on the skin. I was a bit worried it might be sticky or heavy since it's called 'soothing', but not at all! It glides on smoothly (which might make you think it won't absorb well), but it actually absorbs quickly and lightly. It's not suffocating at all, yet so hydrating! Usually, products that are hydrating can feel heavy because they retain moisture, but this one doesn't. The texture is slightly heavier than a toner, but it still has a watery feel without any stickiness. It's fragrance-free, which is great. The product opening is narrow, and you squeeze the bottle to use it. Those who've tried it will know what I mean - it's almost like using a dropper. Anyway, it's designed so that you don't waste any product and can use just the amount you need. I also really appreciate the no-frills packaging. It's truly excellent!

  UPDATE: I won this product through the Hwahae Testers program and initially had some concerns. However, I've seen its effects now. While it didn't suit my usual blemish-prone skin... This product is AMAZING for acne!! It's seriously the best! My child is in the upper grades of elementary school and was developing large pimples and excess sebum on their forehead. The moment we applied this, we could see improvement. We had tried other products for blemishes without success, but after just 3 days of using this... The acne-prone areas improved so much!!!! Also, my husband had a blemish appear next to his nose. After applying this for just one day, the blemish subsided!! This product seems to be a direct hit for acne-prone skin. I really wanted to share this update. I'm leaving my initial concerns below as I wrote them, but I had to revise my review. (April 23, 2024) Initial concerns: I have super sensitive skin. So regardless of ingredients, cost, or brand, I always keep my acne medication nearby when trying new products... Until now, I hadn't had any reactions to products on Hwahae... This product is really, really good, but... For some reason, unknown to me... The second time I used it, more blemishes appeared... (That's why I deducted one star...)

  Tip

  For those who find this product suits them well, you might also try using it as a mask by applying it to a thin cotton pad!

Despite layering multiple skincare products, I often struggle with deep dryness, quick evaporation of product, and noticeable dead skin cells. This product has a moisturizer-like texture that provides a wonderfully hydrating feel. It absorbs quickly without any sticky residue, allowing for a healthy dewy look without any greasiness. After absorption, I didn't experience any deep dryness either. The best feature of this product is its pointed nozzle packaging, making it easy to control the amount used. It's versatile enough for both spot treatments and overall skin care! I love that I can use it generously as a sleeping mask or apply it thickly on blemishes for targeted care.

  The only downside might be the smaller-than-expected size. I wanted to use it generously as a sleeping mask, but it ran out quickly. I'd recommend a larger size! Also, it seems to work better for overall soothing rather than spot treatments.

  Tip

  I found that using this product with a toner from the same line creates a great synergy effect! To be honest, I've rarely seen noticeable results from products claiming specific benefits. However, when I used this with the toner, I saw a significant reduction in redness and improvement in deep dryness within a week!

  The scent is similar yet different from the Inteaca Soothing Cream, but it's practically fragrance-free. It has an incredibly water-like texture, with excellent absorption and application. It seems to provide a plump hydration feeling, making it suitable for combination dehydrated skin in summer.

  Cons

  As mentioned above, due to its very water-like texture, it's best to apply it directly on your face rather than on your hands first.

  Tip

  Since it's a water-like serum, I found it works wonderfully when applied after toner, letting the Inteaca Soothing Serum absorb first, then layering other functional serums on top.

  I usually don't like thick serums as they make my face feel stuffy, but this one is surprisingly lightweight! It absorbs well instantly, which I really appreciate. The scent, while not unscented, is quite pleasant too.

  Cons

  Before applying it to my face, I tested a small amount on the inside of my wrist. I'm not sure if it was mint or tea tree, but there was a slight burning sensation.

  It feels great when you store it in the refrigerator and apply it cool.

  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers and used this product for 10 days from March 13th to March 22nd. I have oily skin, with my T-zone producing excess oil even in the dead of winter. I tested this during the changing seasons when my sebum production was starting to increase! The texture is very slightly viscous and has a light, runny consistency. It absorbs quickly, and after absorption, there's almost no stickiness, leaving the skin feeling fresh. While the key focus seems to be on soothing redness and addressing blemishes, I couldn't notice much improvement in blemishes due to the short testing period. I mainly used it when my face was flushed after blow-drying my hair, and it seemed to slightly reduce the redness, calming my skin and making it feel more comfortable. To sum it up in one line: It's a lightweight, moderately hydrating soothing serum.

  Cons

  The scent dissipates quickly, but I'm not a fan... It smells like unripe banana leaves..? Since it's not a particularly moisturizing product, it might feel too light for those with dry skin! It's just slightly more hydrating than a water-based toner, so even for my oily skin, I found it lacking in moisture for evening skincare! I suppose that's because it's meant to be a soothing serum.

  Tip

  It worked great as a pre-makeup base. Personally, I've found that some skincare products and hydrating serums marketed for 'glass skin' can feel a bit heavy as a finishing layer. No matter how well I pat them in, they make my makeup feel like it's piling up in thick layers, which I dislike. I used to just apply toner multiple times before jumping straight to sunscreen. However, this product only provides hydration, so it was perfect to apply after toner and before makeup. I'd recommend this for oily-skinned folks who hate feeling suffocated by products but still need that extra hydration to prevent their skin from overproducing oil!
