I usually dislike formulas that leave a moisturizing film because they can feel sticky or heavy on my hands after applying, but this product has a water-like texture which I loved!
ConsI was disappointed by the strong herbal scent when first applying it. For those with dry skin, using this product alone might leave you feeling quite parched.
TipIt works well when layered with a cream after application.

No irritation True to its name, this soothing serum has a water-like texture that flows easily. I've been consistently using the Number's #2 serum before, which had a slightly warming sensation and caused some tingling after extracting blemishes. In contrast, the Make P:rem product didn't cause any irritation at all. The lack of irritation also meant my skin didn't react sensitively. Usually, when I change products or encounter incompatible ingredients, I immediately get small blemishes, but this product didn't trigger any sensitive reactions for me! The Centella asiatica ingredients must suit me well! My skin typically becomes sensitive when I travel, but thanks to this serum, my skin remained comfortable during my recent 3-day trip. 2. Quick soothing effect Due to my small blemishes and daily makeup routine, I always extract after cleansing in the evening. I was honestly surprised to find that the extracted areas didn't develop pus and had calmed down well by the next morning. While I couldn't assess its effectiveness on cystic acne during the usage period, it was excellent at soothing the areas where I had extracted small blemishes. 3. Fast absorption As expected from a soothing serum, its lightweight texture absorbed quickly. I appreciated that it wasn't greasy at all. With my combination dehydrated skin, I need to balance oil and moisture well, so I liked that it wasn't oily. Even when applied generously, it absorbs quickly without feeling heavy, which I absolutely loved. +However, it didn't give a deeply hydrating feeling.
Cons1. Scent While I didn't expect it to be completely unscented, its smell was quite different from typical cica serums, which bothered me at first. However, after using it morning and night daily, I seem to have adapted and it's fine now. 2. Moisture level While I appreciated the quick absorption due to its very light texture, it felt lacking in hydration. I was a bit disappointed by the slight feeling of tightness. Since it's a serum for soothing blemishes, I didn't expect much in terms of hydration, so I applied a gel-cream type moisturizer along with it. It would be good to choose a cream step that can sufficiently provide the lacking moisture, depending on your skin's needs. 3. Packaging Although the container is designed to use up every last drop, the texture is so runny that I found it difficult to control the amount dispensed. I hope this aspect could be improved with a better idea. 4. Scars (hyperpigmentation) The description states it's effective for hyperpigmentation scars, but this aspect was less effective for me. However, it was good at soothing the 'redness' after extracting small blemishes.
TipSince it's neither heavy nor oily, it seems suitable to add to your existing skincare routine. I recommend applying it both morning and evening!

I have oily skin, with my T-zone producing excess oil even in the dead of winter. I tested this during the changing seasons when my sebum production was starting to increase! The texture is very slightly viscous and has a light, runny consistency. It absorbs quickly, and after absorption, there's almost no stickiness, leaving the skin feeling fresh. While the key focus seems to be on soothing redness and addressing blemishes, I couldn't notice much improvement in blemishes due to the short testing period. I mainly used it when my face was flushed after blow-drying my hair, and it seemed to slightly reduce the redness, calming my skin and making it feel more comfortable. To sum it up in one line: It's a lightweight, moderately hydrating soothing serum.
ConsThe scent dissipates quickly, but I'm not a fan... It smells like unripe banana leaves..? Since it's not a particularly moisturizing product, it might feel too light for those with dry skin! It's just slightly more hydrating than a water-based toner, so even for my oily skin, I found it lacking in moisture for evening skincare! I suppose that's because it's meant to be a soothing serum.
TipIt worked great as a pre-makeup base. Personally, I've found that some skincare products and hydrating serums marketed for 'glass skin' can feel a bit heavy as a finishing layer. No matter how well I pat them in, they make my makeup feel like it's piling up in thick layers, which I dislike. I used to just apply toner multiple times before jumping straight to sunscreen. However, this product only provides hydration, so it was perfect to apply after toner and before makeup. I'd recommend this for oily-skinned folks who hate feeling suffocated by products but still need that extra hydration to prevent their skin from overproducing oil!

This makes it more hygienic and convenient to use, allowing for easy application to specific spots. Second advantage: It has a lightweight feel, perfect for layering multiple times. This would be great for summer use (honestly, heavy products in summer can feel suffocating and irritating). Third advantage: Excellent absorption and application - it absorbs well and spreads easily.
ConsI'm not sure about immediate effects... I'll need to use it longer to see. If I had to nitpick, the scent isn't great. But don't expect fragrance from blemish-fighting skincare products anyway.

With combination skin, even a slight imbalance in oil and moisture can lead to breakouts. Now, let me share my experience with this product: -Texture: It has a watery consistency that absorbs quickly without feeling heavy, leaving a fresh sensation. -Scent: There's a herbal or grassy aroma. -Soothing effect: After applying it to blemish-prone areas for about 2 days, I noticed a calming effect. Usually, I'd have to pop my blemishes, but with this, they subside after 2 days of use. I haven't had to pop any blemishes in the week I've been using it! ★I loved that it seemed to have a preventive effect, with hardly any blemishes appearing around my nose. Using it as a preventive measure can help maintain clear skin. ★The before and after photos show my skin before use and after a week of application. You can visibly see the reduction in redness and blemishes!
ConsWhile the scent wasn't my favorite, I can tolerate it for the sake of its effectiveness.
TipI applied this product after my toner, let it absorb, then followed with essence and moisturizer. For areas with noticeable blemishes, I applied this product again separately. Double application!

Lightweight feel This product has a water-like consistency that's light yet hydrating. It absorbs quickly even when layered multiple times. Compared to previously used products like I*Nature serum and M*Hill soothing serum, I*Nature worked well in winter but feels a bit heavy for my combination skin now. M*Hill has a watery texture but didn't address deep dryness, which was disappointing for me. This product feels like the perfect middle ground, and I think it'll work well from seasonal changes through summer. 2. Skin soothing Due to seasonal changes and hormones, I had a lot of blemishes pop up. After using this product, I could visibly see the redness subsiding.
ConsThere weren't many downsides, but while the container is convenient to use, it's a bit difficult to dispense precise amounts. Also, while it's mostly fragrance-free, there's a slight watery scent.

However, I liked that it had a cooling effect and helped reduce heat in the skin when applied! It feels refreshing and leaves a clean finish, so it would be great for summer use. * Soothing effect: I had high hopes for this as I've had some recent breakouts, but I haven't seen any dramatic effects yet. On the bright side, it didn't cause any new blemishes, and it seems to help with redness. I plan to keep using it consistently for a while longer.
ConsThere's a faint, peculiar scent that's hard to describe - maybe like glue? It's not artificial and not overpowering, but I'm mentioning it for those who are sensitive to fragrances.
TipSince it's the dry season and I have combination dehydrated skin, I used this product after three layers of toner. Because it's light and refreshing, those with combination dehydrated or dry skin might want to use hydrating products before and after this serum to ensure proper moisture levels.

This product seems quite gentle. I've been using it for about a week, and while it's too early to say for sure, some of my more severe blemishes have started to subside! I think it works even better when used alongside a spot treatment.
ConsThe scent is a bit... off-putting, but not to the point where it's a major concern.

There's no real moisturizing sensation - it feels like applying slightly viscous water, offering minimal hydration. If you prefer ultra-light formulas, you might enjoy this. I've been dealing with a lot of tiny bumps lately, and at first I thought it might be helping, but then my skin suddenly flared up. I'm not sure if it's actually effective for blemishes...
ConsThe initial scent struck me as really odd, but I got used to it over time. It's disappointing that it doesn't provide any hydration at all.

After extracting blackheads on my forehead, the redness disappeared quickly (see before and after photos). It's perfect to apply after acne extraction! I think I'll be using this whenever my skin gets a bit irritated after extractions. The Hwahae Testers will love this! As someone with redness-prone skin that tends to feel hot, this serum provides a slight cooling effect while absorbing quickly, instantly refreshing the skin. The finish is hydrating like a moisture serum, but without any stickiness! You'll definitely want to follow up with a cream. It feels like it's locking in soothing effects and hydration under your moisturizer. It brightens the complexion and gives a feeling of deep hydration! I've noticed that hyaluronic acid products tend to make the skin look especially plump and clear. This product contains hyaluronic acid too, so it seems to replenish moisture and give that clear, bright look! I'd seen a lot of YouTube ads about this product containing Inteca, which is supposed to have even better soothing effects than cica. I was considering buying the cream, but ended up trying the serum first! As someone with combination dehydrated skin, creams can be tricky... Using the wrong cream can cause tiny bumps that turn into blemishes. So I was glad to be able to try the serum with less worry.
ConsThe scent is a bit... unusual. It's a mix of herbal and plastic smells that I've never encountered before - I guess this is what Inteca smells like. Still, I prefer fragrance-free products to fragranced ones, so I tolerate the scent and apply it anyway. The soothing and hydrating effects are more of a gradual improvement rather than immediately noticeable, which is slightly disappointing. On the flip side, this gentleness means it likely won't cause any adverse reactions.
TipIt seems to help calm blemishes when applied after extraction!
