It has a rich texture but isn't overly greasy, making it perfect for daily use.
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad about it. Just keep in mind that it's a basic sunscreen without any brightening effects.

It applies smoothly and causes less eye irritation. The scent isn't overpowering, and it provides effective UV protection. There was no white cast, and it worked well on my dry skin. If it continues to perform well after a few more uses, I'll likely repurchase.
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly negative, but as it's an organic sunscreen, it doesn't brighten the complexion, which is a bit disappointing.

ConsCons: - There seems to be a slight stinging sensation in the eyes. I noticed some eye irritation when applying the sunscreen all over my face before exercising. - Unfortunately, it doesn't provide any brightening effect, which was a bit disappointing.
TipThe hydrating formula makes it an excellent base to use before applying makeup.

It's perfect for when the weather suddenly turns hot. Some sunscreens can dry out your skin if not applied correctly, but this one feels fresh and long-lasting without any stickiness. I love it! It's suitable for all skin types - dry, oily, or blemish-prone - making it an excellent choice for your daily sun protection routine.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about this product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say it doesn't provide any brightening effect. So, if you're looking to even out your skin tone, this might not be the best option for you.
TipIn summer, it's crucial to apply lightweight products to your skin! Applying too much can lead to blemishes. If you're looking for a sunscreen that feels light yet hydrating like a moisturizer, I highly recommend trying this one. It's a must-have!

I have combination dehydrated skin that leans dry. Keep this in mind for my review! *Texture* Although I have combination dehydrated skin, I don't prefer sunscreens that are too oily or heavy, so this one suited my taste! It's not overly rich, so I didn't experience much eye irritation when applying it. The texture feels like a typical organic UV filter sunscreen - imagine a standard organic sunscreen formula. It's white in color, doesn't leave a white cast, doesn't brighten the skin, and overall feels like a lightweight, hydrating sunscreen. When I apply makeup or powder over it, it doesn't pill too badly. However, my skin's been a mess lately due to the changing seasons, so there's been some minor pilling. But even my birch sunscreen pills, so I think it's just my skin acting up right now. Please take this with a grain of salt. *Scent* Sometimes sunscreen scents can be off-putting, right? This product has a typical sunscreen fragrance. It's not overpowering though, so it doesn't really interfere with the user experience. Also, it's worth praising that this product only has one caution ingredient, making it quite gentle on the skin!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it would be that it doesn't provide any brightening effect at all. As someone who often goes out wearing just sunscreen, this aspect is a bit disappointing for me.

You can really feel the hydration, so those with dry skin will likely be satisfied! It spreads thinly and evenly, even with a small amount. Scent: I didn't notice any strong scent. It's close to being unscented, with just a very faint woody or herbal note. When applied to the face, it doesn't cause any sensitivity or dizziness due to smell. I'm very pleased that it lacks the typical clay-like scent of sunscreens. Feel: As the name suggests, it's moisturizing. However, it doesn't feel excessively oily. It has a nice glow, and after a short while, it becomes slightly tacky, helping base makeup adhere well. As someone with dry skin prone to flaking, I'm satisfied that the subtle glow helps prevent makeup from cracking, especially when my skin tends to react poorly to sunscreen.
ConsI can't really point out any significant drawbacks, but if I had to mention something, it might be disappointing for those looking for a tone-up effect for a foundation-free look. On the flip side, the lack of color actually makes it great to use before applying makeup.
TipGiven its cream-like texture, here's a tip for areas with noticeable dead skin cells: Apply a slightly thicker layer on those spots. Once the dead skin cells have softened, gently remove them with a cotton swab. Then apply your cushion foundation over it. This helps smooth out the dead skin cells and prevents your makeup from flaking!

I typically use mineral sunscreens. This is my first time trying Real Barrier's sun protection, but I'm already a fan of their moisturizing cream, which is my winter staple. This product has Real Barrier's signature scent - it's nearly unscented, which I personally love. It reminds me of a cool ointment, though that description doesn't quite do it justice. The Cera Moisture Barrier Sunscreen lives up to its name, feeling like a light, hydrating veil. It has a smooth, lightweight texture that applies beautifully. With omega ceramides and hydrating essence, it not only protects from UV rays but also offers anti-aging and brightening benefits - quite the smart product! Despite usually preferring mineral sunscreens due to eye irritation from chemical ones, I didn't experience any discomfort with this. After application, there's no stickiness, just a comfortable moisturized feeling, as if I'd applied a hydrating cream. It claims to improve deep dryness and keep skin hydrated for 12 hours, making it a must-have for the intense sun season. It doesn't provide tone-up effects, so I finish with cushion foundation. When wearing just the sunscreen, a foam cleanser was enough to remove it effectively. Above all, I love how gentle and non-irritating it is. Though I didn't prefer chemical sunscreens before, I'll likely repurchase this after trying it as part of The Hwahae Testers.
ConsThere's nothing particularly disappointing, though if I had to nitpick, I might say the lack of tone-up effect is slightly underwhelming.
TipI heard that when you don't feel like putting on makeup or just want a quick look for running errands, mixing a bit of foundation with this sunscreen gives a natural-looking complexion and improved skin texture.

As a student with sensitive skin, I've always shied away from sunscreen. So I was on the hunt for a daily sunscreen I could wear even at school. Luckily, I got the chance to be part of The Hwahae Testers, and here's my review! I've never been a fan of applying sunscreen. My skin would react badly, and I hated the thick texture and that characteristic white cast. As a student, I couldn't afford to keep trying different sunscreens, so I just went without... But this product is different! It has an emulsion-like texture that feels moisturizing, making it so easy to apply - unlike any sunscreen I've used before! It's gentle enough that I could use it even on days when my skin was acting up. I'll definitely be repurchasing this! Check out the photo - it really does have that emulsion-like texture that works hard for your skin!
ConsThe only downside? It doesn't brighten the complexion... Everything else was great, but at my age, I'm conscious about my appearance and want to look brighter than my friends! While that was a bit disappointing, I realized that if it had a brightening effect, it might not be as suitable for daily use. So it's kind of a drawback that isn't really a drawback...?

I'm glad I got the chance to try the Real Barrier sunscreen through The Hwahae Testers program. Texture: Since it's a 'moisture barrier', I expected it to be quite hydrating, and as anticipated, it was on the thinner side for a sunscreen. It has a bit of an emulsion feel to it, which I actually preferred when applying! It adheres well to the skin. It felt similar to the Etude Soon Jung sunscreen! I've always thought that a moisturizing sunscreen allows for better application of base makeup, and Real Barrier gives off that same impression.
ConsBrightening effect: When I first applied it, I thought it might have a slight brightening effect, but after it absorbed, I realized there wasn't much of a tone-up effect. As someone who prefers sunscreens that even out my complexion, I found this a bit disappointing.

My base makeup tends to break down quickly, so I usually apply a thick, brightening moisturizer for initial tone correction, followed by foundation or cushion. I was lucky enough to be selected as a Hwahae Tester this time, giving me the chance to try a more hydrating sunscreen! Application: It applies smoothly like an emulsion, with no clumping. Unlike thicker brightening sunscreens that can clump if not applied carefully, this product goes on effortlessly. My routine: toner, ampoule, emulsion, sunscreen (completing skincare), then primer, makeup base, concealer, and foundation. Scent: No noticeable fragrance, making it easy to use without any aversion. Longevity: The emulsion-like texture provides a good balance of oil and moisture. As someone with oily skin, I notice that this sunscreen seems to accelerate oil production slightly, so I find myself touching up with powder more frequently. While I don't have much experience with emulsion-type products, this felt like a nice finishing touch to my skincare routine and was comfortable to apply!
ConsFor those with oily skin, it may cause oil to surface more quickly than usual. There's no noticeable brightening effect, so it's best used as the final step in your skincare routine.
