The smooth application glides on without any irritation. There's no white cast, making it perfect for layering makeup on top. For my combination skin, it felt a bit too rich. I've always struggled to find a sunscreen that didn't make my face feel tight, itchy, or sting my eyes. But after a dermatological procedure, I needed a sunscreen that would protect my skin barrier. That's when I found this gem. It feels as light as if I'd only applied my basic skincare. It keeps my skin hydrated all day, doesn't irritate my eyes, and is so gentle. I'm really impressed! Those with very oily skin might find it a bit shiny, but it's not a sticky, greasy mess. Instead, it gives more of a moisturized glow. In the past, I used to apply moisturizer twice before putting on sunscreen. With this one, I can just apply it directly and my skin stays hydrated all day. I'm on my third tube of this product, and its absorption is top-notch! First off, it has a moisturizing formula, so when applied before makeup, it creates a smooth base and helps makeup adhere well. As time passes, there's a slight glow, which I consider a plus! I have oily skin, and I usually don't prefer mineral sunscreens as they feel heavy and interfere with makeup application. However, even though this is a chemical sunscreen, it doesn't cause any blemishes and works wonderfully with makeup, making me reach for it often! I wouldn't recommend this to those with oily skin who completely avoid chemical sunscreens or to those who dislike any hint of shine on their face! In my case, I use a makeup sponge to help the sunscreen absorb, which reduces the glow. I use this every time I go out, and it doesn't seem to cause any blemishes. It applies smoothly. Rather than spreading it on, I find it's better to pat it in gently to help it absorb well. Since I have combination skin, in summer I sometimes go out with just sunscreen and powder.

I bought this based on a YouTuber's recommendation, and I'm really impressed! It absorbs well and leaves my skin with a beautiful glow after application. I use it before makeup, and there's no pilling at all. It's so easy to apply, which is a big plus. I'd recommend this for combination and dry skin types. I definitely plan to repurchase this product. I've never experienced any blemishes from using this, and I got it during an Olive Young sale as a 1+1 deal. It seems sunscreen is one of those skincare products that can often cause blemishes. Many sunscreens can lead to eye irritation, itching, and skin reactions. However, this product, likely due to its barrier-protecting ingredients, feels like applying a light emulsion and is quite comfortable on the skin. After using it for over ten days, I actually feel like my skin has improved! While it has a hydrating formula, there does seem to be a bit of richness to it. Those with very oily skin might need to be cautious when using this product. Right after application, there's a slight glow that could be mistaken for oiliness if you're not careful. If you follow up with a light dusting of powder after your compact, your skin looks absolutely fantastic.
