  I tried this product on a YouTuber's recommendation, thinking I might be falling for the hype, but it's actually pretty great! It absorbs well and doesn't cause any blemishes.

  Cons

  This product tends to feel a bit rich on the skin... If you have oily skin, you should absolutely avoid using this in summer. It feels heavy. I have combination skin, and even I switch to something else during the summer months.

  It seems sunscreen is one of those skincare products that can often cause blemishes. Many sunscreens can lead to eye irritation, itching, and skin reactions. However, this product, likely due to its barrier-protecting ingredients, feels like applying a light emulsion and is quite comfortable on the skin. After using it for over ten days, I actually feel like my skin has improved!

  While it has a hydrating formula, there does seem to be a bit of richness to it. Those with very oily skin might need to be cautious when using this product.

  Tip

  Right after application, there's a slight glow that could be mistaken for oiliness if you're not careful. If you follow up with a light dusting of powder after your compact, your skin looks absolutely fantastic.

  This is an excellent sunscreen with abundant hydration. Even though I have combination dehydrated skin leaning towards oily, it absorbs well without feeling sticky! The texture is similar to a moisturizer.

  Pros

  This is the only sunscreen I use. I don't typically have sensitive skin, but for some reason, my skin reacts sensitively to sunscreens. Other products sting and leave my skin feeling extremely dry after a while. However, this one keeps my skin hydrated and doesn't dry it out even after extended wear. I absolutely love it!

  If I had to point out one drawback, it might be that it feels a bit rich. Other than that, it's fantastic.

  Pros

  Unlike other physical sunscreens that can cause redness, bumps, sensitivity, or enlarged pores, this one contains ceramides which seem to prevent those negative effects.

  Cons

  There's a slight stinging sensation around the eyes. It's quite rich compared to other physical sunscreens. It gives a persistent glow. When applied before makeup, it causes the makeup to separate and break down faster than usual. The Real Barrier's signature aroma? I really dislike it... Though the scent isn't overpowering.

  Tip

  While it doesn't have the typical skin-irritating effects of physical sunscreens, which makes me reach for it, it does cause makeup to separate quickly when used as a base.
