Haha, I love it so much that I keep buying it, and I've been using it for 7 years now!! Lately, there have been many new foundations, but the original is the best. The Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation seems suitable for both dry and combination skin types. Even in the winter, it doesn't accentuate dryness or feel dry on my dry skin! The coverage is also good, and the colors are beautiful. It's the absolute best!!! I've been using it since before the design was renewed. Dry-skinned folks, you can trust me and definitely give it a try. The price is also affordable..๐
ConsHowever, I think the oil content may rise a bit for those with dry skin.
TipDewy foundation for dry skin!! It has great coverage yet still feels moisturizing!!

That's why I didn't feel like the foundation was drying on me! It's best to apply it in thin, multiple layers rather than one thick layer. This way, it gives a beautiful, glowy finish without feeling heavy or cakey. The lightweight texture also means it lasts well throughout the summer without breaking down or getting darker. Foundations can often make dry skin feel even drier or overly oily, but this one works really well for my dry complexion! It doesn't cling to dry patches or make my skin feel greasy.
ConsBlemishes or spots are not covered well enough! You'll need to use a concealer additionally to cover them! It's not recommended for troubled skin ใ ใ

It's quite powdery and fluffy!! Great lasting power~~ I have a lot of peach fuzz, but it didn't stick out! โญ๏ธ It's quite prone to inner dryness, but it wasn't drying and was good!
ConsThere were some breakouts around the mouth area, but they settled down quickly!! There's some creasing in the laugh lines, but it was okay since it's a matte type!

Applies thinly (the formula is lightweight => easy to apply thinly, with much less of a heavy, stuffy feeling) 2. Fixing power (the lightweight formula adheres without drying out or lifting, allowing for a clean, polished base application) 3. Longevity (based on oily skin, the base remains satisfactory from 8am to 3pm without any need for touch-ups => over time, the base transitions from a semi-matte to a subtly luminous finish)
Cons1. The shade is on the lighter side (=> can be used like a highlighter) 2. The coverage is not particularly high (=> the thin, lightweight formula may not fully conceal reddish blemishes or dark circles, but it does a decent job of covering pores) 3. Semi-matte => dryness (for dry and neutral skin types, especially in fall and winter, the oily skin => over time, there may be some dryness and flaking)
TipThis formula is certainly well-suited for spring and summer use. For dry and neutral skin types, use a slightly oily base For oily and combination skin, use a more hydrating base. Apply it in thin, multiple layers to create a supple, skin-like finish, then apply the foundation extremely thinly. Use a makeup sponge dampened with water (water, makeup setting spray, mist, etc.) to lightly stipple it onto the skin, and you can create a base that looks and feels just like your own skin, with incredible longevity.

The T-zone often has acne and a lot of blackheads and sebum secretion. For hair & body type, the person has seborrheic dermatitis on the scalp. In winter, the arms and legs are dry, and the person has back acne (which has improved a lot). The photo captions are: (Top) The Face Shop Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit New v201, (Bottom) Banila Co. Foundation Peach Color, immediately after application and 4 hours later. The formula is not too thin, not as thick as Estee Lauder, but just the right consistency to hold its shape when pumped out. It applies slightly thick with a semi-matte finish when spread with a spatula. It applies evenly without clinging to pores or emphasizing dryness. The finish is semi-matte without a powdery, dry feel. The color v201 is a bit brighter and peachier than the previous Banila Co. Rose shade, suitable for cool-toned 21 shades. It looked a bit bright on the face but blended well to give a radiant look. The coverage is quite good, able to conceal dark areas, dullness, dark circles, and spots well. For the oily T-zone, it holds up well for 3-4 hours, then some oil starts to show, but it doesn't break down messily or cling to dry patches. Overall, it's a pleasant surprise as a drugstore product, providing a smooth, semi-matte, radiant finish for 3-4 hours, without a powdery or drying feel, despite the person's combination/oily skin type. For my skin type as well, it's difficult to maintain the initial condition for a long time, so powder would be essential for oily skin types. Dry skin types may risk the cheeks, nose, and forehead areas looking cakey, so I would recommend this as a summer product. โญ๏ธProducts that worked well: โช๏ธFacial: Wellauge Real Hyaluronique Blue 100 Ampoule, Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum, Mamonde Floral Hydro Serum, 9Wishes Moisture Serum, 23years old Badekacel Doctor, Coreana Vienage Snail Cream, etc. Products that just provide exfoliation and hydration generally work well. โช๏ธBody: Illiyoon Ceramide Body Lotion, Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Soothing Gel, Dermavie Pressional Moisture Body Lotion โช๏ธHair: Freshpop Micellar Mojito Shampoo (using it as there's no alternative), Labo H Basic Shampoo ๐ก Products that didn't work: Witch's Factory Galactomyces Serum, Real Barrier Extreme Cream, and especially products containing natural oils caused skin irritation.
ConsThe facial tone is too bright like a lake... The longevity was a bit disappointing, but I still want to use it all the time even in the summer...

Consโ๏ธ There is some oiliness that needs to be blotted and corrected. โ๏ธ There is a slight heavy feeling and some accentuation of flaky skin.
TipIt's fun to experiment with different tools and find the perfect match with sunscreen!

First of all, the color is a clear shade and not murky, which I really like! However, it seems a bit brighter than other foundations. Sometimes when you buy the wrong foundation, there can be darkening, but that wasn't the case with this one! I applied it around 7:30 in the morning and it still looked fresh and clear until around 10:30 at night, which I really enjoyed! Since I applied a lot of base makeup, there was no dry feeling, and it seems the case has been renewed, with the new design being much better!
ConsIt was a bit disappointing that there was only one color to try out! For those who use shade 23, it might feel a bit too bright!
TipWhen applied with a Hwahae Trial Reviewer brush, it spreads out very thinly and evenly! It's amazing!

The 4th photo is me with just the product applied. The tone seems similar. Texture Not too dewy, not too matte. In March-April, I use cleansing oil + cream + sunscreen + foundation in this order. Even with this routine, I don't feel too dry or uncomfortable. After using only cushion for a long time, I tried the foundation again and it applied smoothly without caking or settling. Darkening None. Scent Similar to a typical foundation scent.
ConsLifting The other areas are fine, but near the nose, it seems to lift up by lunchtime, possibly due to the sunscreen. You can see the white lifted areas in the photo. Even when I mix oil into the foundation, it still lifts up. Coverage It covers the redness a bit, but hardly covers the blemishes. It just evens out the skin tone a little.
TipIf you're looking for a natural skin finish, I'd recommend this.

Even with a tinted sunscreen, I tend to have noticeable nose creasing when using a brush, but with this foundation, there was hardly any visible creasing when I applied it with a brush, which I was very pleased about. The inclusion of skincare ingredients also seems to contribute to the smooth, moisturizing application that doesn't feel tight or drying over time. There's a subtle glow without any cakey or flaky appearance. The coverage is also quite good, so while it may be better to use a concealer for inflammatory acne, redness from blemishes is sufficiently covered. Overall, it's a product that wears nicely without breaking down, blending well with the natural oils on the face.
ConsThere is a tendency for it to set fairly quickly, so it's better to apply it in sections rather than all over the face and then blend. However, the strong hold is also a positive, so it's just a matter of getting used to the application. The darkening effect isn't really due to the product itself, but more a result of the coverage wearing off over time and the natural skin tone becoming visible again, which may not suit everyone's preferences.
TipIt seems to work best when applied with a spatula. Applying a thin layer with a spatula and then buffing it in with a damp sponge helps it adhere really well. For those who tend to have issues with coverage lifting around the nose area, using a brush is definitely the way to go.

In this transitional weather, my skin has been feeling very dry, so I've been layering moisturizers 4 times, but this foundation didn't give me a dry feeling, so I was able to use it comfortably. I don't usually retouch my makeup, but I applied it in the morning and worked late until 10pm, and it stayed in place without breaking down
ConsAfter applying it all over the face, the quick-setting nature of this product sometimes leaves noticeable foundation marks around the perimeter of the face Being a slow-handed person, it was difficult for me to avoid this, even with care
TipFor people like me who have slow hands, partial application and quick blending would work much better Or using a damp sponge to apply it could also be a good solution
