ConsAfter powder processing, it tends to swell and darken over time.

ConsIt seems to get a bit cakey over time It can be drying and tend to darken a bit
TipYou need to do your skincare routine thoroughly If you don't do your skincare thoroughly, the less desirable aspects will be more pronounced

Also, it's a matte product.
ConsThe skin looks thicker and there's darkening. The wear-down is not good.

ConsThe darkening is...very, very severe and the longevity is too poor. The darkening is so severe that I don't know how to use it..The crumbling is also very unattractive. It looks so pretty when first applied, but just a little while later, the darkening becomes extremely severe...and if even a little oil comes up, it disappears without you even realizing it's gone.

Even with a tinted sunscreen, I tend to have noticeable nose creasing when using a brush, but with this foundation, there was hardly any visible creasing when I applied it with a brush, which I was very pleased about. The inclusion of skincare ingredients also seems to contribute to the smooth, moisturizing application that doesn't feel tight or drying over time. There's a subtle glow without any cakey or flaky appearance. The coverage is also quite good, so while it may be better to use a concealer for inflammatory acne, redness from blemishes is sufficiently covered. Overall, it's a product that wears nicely without breaking down, blending well with the natural oils on the face.
ConsThere is a tendency for it to set fairly quickly, so it's better to apply it in sections rather than all over the face and then blend. However, the strong hold is also a positive, so it's just a matter of getting used to the application. The darkening effect isn't really due to the product itself, but more a result of the coverage wearing off over time and the natural skin tone becoming visible again, which may not suit everyone's preferences.
TipIt seems to work best when applied with a spatula. Applying a thin layer with a spatula and then buffing it in with a damp sponge helps it adhere really well. For those who tend to have issues with coverage lifting around the nose area, using a brush is definitely the way to go.

During this transitional season, it's really difficult to find the right product as my skin condition keeps fluctuating. When I apply the moisturizing base I used in the winter, it quickly becomes greasy, and if I use the matte cushion I used in the summer, it feels dry and caky. This time, I had the chance to use The Face Shop Ink Lasting Foundation Slim Fit New. I usually wear shade 19 in the winter and 21 in the summer, and I have acne scars. I could immediately tell why they call it 'Slim Fit' - it blends so smoothly and seamlessly with just my fingers, without any tools. I prefer a powdery finish, so I patted it with a puff or sponge, and it ended up with a subtle glow instead of a matte look. During this transitional period, matte products tend to make my skin look flaky and uneven, but this formula was just right. I think dry-skinned people could also use a brush to apply it and get a dewy, hydrated look. Makeup products can perform differently depending on skin type, but I was satisfied with the longevity. It lasted well from my morning application to the evening. The only downside was the darkness. Even though I used the lightest shades 19-21, it looked a bit too dark for me from the start, and by the end of the day, my face was noticeably darker than my neck. Perhaps the shades were still a bit too deep for my bright complexion preference. I wish they had an even lighter option. While the darker tone may work well for those with medium skin tones in the 21-22 range, it might appear too dark for those who prefer a brighter, more luminous complexion like me. Apart from the shade issue, the formula, especially the seamless application and skin-like finish, was absolutely beautiful. Even though I've only used it for about a week, I was very impressed and would consider repurchasing if they had a lighter shade option. ConsPersonally, I was a bit disappointed with the darkening and coloring. The reason is written above. ใ _ใ

ConsDarkening, Longevity I was a bit disappointed with the darkening and longevity. The previous version was a bit more matte, which I felt provided better longevity for my skin.
TipIt's more suitable for dry to normal skin, rather than oily skin. I've included a comparison photo of the shade 21 with other foundation shades I use.

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsโขSkin: Dry, acne-prone, sensitive โขColor: I normally use shade 21, and when I use this product, my skin looks naturally brighter and more radiant. โขTexture: It's not overly runny, but has a slowly flowing texture. โขApplication: It applies well with my fingers, but using a puff makes it blend seamlessly into my skin as if it's my own (it applies very thinly). โขCoverage: We all know that foundation can't cover all acne, right? It helps conceal small blemishes, acne scars, and slight redness, but for larger, inflamed acne, you'll need a separate concealer. โขBreakouts: As a person with sensitive skin, I did feel like some of my existing acne got a bit worse after using this. But I didn't get any new breakouts elsewhere. *The skin finish is absolutely beautiful when I first apply it! *I squeezed some onto my hand and applied it to my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead in that order, and I was able to take my time since the setting isn't super fast (it does set gradually, though). *A small amount can cover my whole face.
ConsโขIf you apply it too thickly or use a lot of skincare underneath, it can look cakey. โขAfter about 5 hours, it starts to look a bit worn off. โขAs an oily-skinned person, the oil breakthrough is inevitable. โขAfter about 5 hours, there's a slight darkening (but it's not extremely severe, and personally I can still wear it). โขFor oily skin types, I don't recommend this foundation in the summer - the setting just doesn't hold up well against oil and sweat, and it can leave some transfer when touched.
TipExcessive skincare is XX

I usually don't like the feeling of something sitting on my face, so I don't use a lot of dewy domestic base products. But this one shows a semi-matte thickness and adhesion, yet finishes with a smooth, glowing look that maintains the radiance I built up in my skincare routine. I was out for 6 hours on April 5th and walked about 10,000 steps, but it barely budged. The only areas that got a bit oily were my forehead and nose tip, but it just looked a bit faded (though I also lightly touched it up with a brush, and since I don't sweat much on dry skin, the base didn't break down too messily). Using The Saem's Pencil Concealer to cover blemishes was also great - the two products blended really well together. And the pump technology is absolutely amazing... Kudos to The Face Shop! I used to get so frustrated with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer's pump, but this one dispenses just the right amount without getting clogged, dripping, or splattering - it's so clean and safe to use.
ConsAccording to my research, a new neutral-toned shade was recently released, but I'm curious why the Hwahae Trial Reviewers didn't review that color. The V201 Apricot Beige seems a bit pinkish and has a slightly ashy tone, similar to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Oslo. As someone with a yellowish, bright, and saturated skin tone, the product appeared too pale on me immediately after application, and then darkened reddishly, so I had to mix in some concealer in the central part of my face. Even though it didn't seem like an extremely darkening foundation, it was still quite different from my skin tone, so I had no choice. I'd recommend this color to those who found a good match in NARS Oslo or Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla, as this is a bit more natural-looking than those. And dry-skinned folks like me should pay extra attention to the undereye area, though it's not to the point of obvious wrinkles. In my opinion, it felt less drying than the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, and I think it will work even better in the summer.
TipThe Hanskin concealer product I'm using blends well without any issues, and it also mixes well with The Saem concealer pencil. I suspect it would likely blend well with most other products. The recommended tools are a spatula and the Phillimilli 822 brush. The formula itself is thin, and the pigments seem finely and densely packed, so it's best not to apply more than two layers. While the coverage isn't extremely high due to the thin formula, the base color comes through clearly, so using the concealer looks better than layering multiple applications. Applying with a spatula and then patting with a well-wrung puff gives a more glowy finish, while using the Phillimilli brush applies it thinner and more adherently. <Color Comparison Photos> From the top: Innisfree Essential Nuddy Cushion in Fair Light - Slightly hazy but the peachy-pink tone settles in naturally. Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue in Warm Porcelain - Matches my actual skin tone. Dior Glow 0N - Usable, with a light pinkish tone. The Face Shop Ink Lasting Slim Fit in V201 - Pinker than the photo, with a saturated yellowish tone that can appear quite ashy on fair-skinned individuals. May suit those with lower-saturation or dull skin tones with a pink base.
