It also brightens the complexion beautifully.
ConsThe color tone seems to have changed a bit. It feels like it has a slightly grayish hue compared to my standard.

As a combination skin type, I found it had a nice level of moisture that worked well for summer use!
ConsI would recommend using a shade one tone lighter than your usual foundation. Personally, I found this foundation made my face look a bit grey and dark.
TipWhen I used a slightly lighter and more hydrating foundation, it provided better color match and longer wear.

Even in midsummer, there's hardly any breakdown and it sticks well to my oily skin, which feels great.
ConsThe color seems a bit dark. If I use it alone without powder, it feels like it leaves a slight trace.
TipIt seems best to apply it thinly in multiple layers using a spatula.

The product lasts a long time, and there is little breakdown like darkening or accentuating of dry patches. It's a versatile product that's nice to use. The skin expression is very pretty, but it doesn't have any major drawbacks. Without the issues mentioned for other foundations, this is a nicely balanced product that's good to use without problems.
ConsI had to layer it several times to get the coverage I wanted. The color is quite reddish, so it doesn't seem to match my skin tone well.
TipI think this product would shine more if you find a good brush or puff to apply it. It's difficult to spread it evenly with just your hands.

My skin type is dry! I think the pink-based tone would look pretty on cool-toned people. The best part was that it gave my skin a clean and smooth finish, and it applied lightly and evenly, making my skin feel comfortable. For dry skin types, applying a hydrating sunscreen or base first will make the skin look even smoother and the coverage better. Oily skin types can layer it over a solid skincare routine, and it will blend well as the oil comes through. Dry skin types can apply it over a well-prepared skincare routine for a satisfactory result! The packaging is also clean and compact, so it's convenient to carry around. As the weather gets warmer, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to switch to a lighter, semi-matte base.
ConsIf you normally have a pink-based skin tone that tends to look greyish and darken, you might want to try the N shade instead of V, as it will likely match better. No matter how I applied the base, the tone just didn't work for me, so it was difficult to use. ๐ข For dry skin types, this might work better in the summer than it did for me now.

The formula is really thin and sticks right to the face, giving the impression of ink being stamped on. The color, 23, was a bit bright for me to use, but if you lay a sufficiently clear and bright base, it will brighten your face just like turning on a fluorescent light!
ConsSince it was provided by Hwahae, I couldn't choose the color. So 23 felt a bit bright for me.
TipAs it adheres so well, it can be drying, so using a moisturizing sunscreen or makeup base will allow you to enjoy the foundation in the best condition!!

Trial Reviewers' reviews undergo the same strict verification process as regular reviews, and if they don't meet our standards, revisions will be requested.ProsThe review was a bit late! I kept using it for just one more day, and ended up writing this. As I have a lot of sebum and extremely dry skin, I've only used products with a lot of moisture, like the Espoir Bi-Glow and Luna Water Fit Cushion. I've also used the Gallant Foundation. This product is similar to Gallant. It's more matte than dewy. It applies very thinly. And the skin coverage is similar. After applying, it doesn't come off even if you go swimming or rub it a bit. It'll be very useful in the summer!
ConsI'm not sure if it's because my skin tone doesn't match, but the color correction is a bit too dark. And since it's matte, it accentuates some creasing and fine lines on my dry skin.
TipYou can mix it with a moisturizer or oil. Or, after applying this product, you can dab it with a damp cloth or sponge to make it less matte and add more moisture!

I usually don't like the feeling of something sitting on my face, so I don't use a lot of dewy domestic base products. But this one shows a semi-matte thickness and adhesion, yet finishes with a smooth, glowing look that maintains the radiance I built up in my skincare routine. I was out for 6 hours on April 5th and walked about 10,000 steps, but it barely budged. The only areas that got a bit oily were my forehead and nose tip, but it just looked a bit faded (though I also lightly touched it up with a brush, and since I don't sweat much on dry skin, the base didn't break down too messily). Using The Saem's Pencil Concealer to cover blemishes was also great - the two products blended really well together. And the pump technology is absolutely amazing... Kudos to The Face Shop! I used to get so frustrated with the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer's pump, but this one dispenses just the right amount without getting clogged, dripping, or splattering - it's so clean and safe to use.
ConsAccording to my research, a new neutral-toned shade was recently released, but I'm curious why the Hwahae Trial Reviewers didn't review that color. The V201 Apricot Beige seems a bit pinkish and has a slightly ashy tone, similar to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in Oslo. As someone with a yellowish, bright, and saturated skin tone, the product appeared too pale on me immediately after application, and then darkened reddishly, so I had to mix in some concealer in the central part of my face. Even though it didn't seem like an extremely darkening foundation, it was still quite different from my skin tone, so I had no choice. I'd recommend this color to those who found a good match in NARS Oslo or Radiant Creamy Concealer in Vanilla, as this is a bit more natural-looking than those. And dry-skinned folks like me should pay extra attention to the undereye area, though it's not to the point of obvious wrinkles. In my opinion, it felt less drying than the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, and I think it will work even better in the summer.
TipThe Hanskin concealer product I'm using blends well without any issues, and it also mixes well with The Saem concealer pencil. I suspect it would likely blend well with most other products. The recommended tools are a spatula and the Phillimilli 822 brush. The formula itself is thin, and the pigments seem finely and densely packed, so it's best not to apply more than two layers. While the coverage isn't extremely high due to the thin formula, the base color comes through clearly, so using the concealer looks better than layering multiple applications. Applying with a spatula and then patting with a well-wrung puff gives a more glowy finish, while using the Phillimilli brush applies it thinner and more adherently. <Color Comparison Photos> From the top: Innisfree Essential Nuddy Cushion in Fair Light - Slightly hazy but the peachy-pink tone settles in naturally. Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue in Warm Porcelain - Matches my actual skin tone. Dior Glow 0N - Usable, with a light pinkish tone. The Face Shop Ink Lasting Slim Fit in V201 - Pinker than the photo, with a saturated yellowish tone that can appear quite ashy on fair-skinned individuals. May suit those with lower-saturation or dull skin tones with a pink base.
