When spreading it on the face, it has a nice application feel - more creamy and hydrating compared to other mineral sunscreens. I'd recommend this if you dislike the overly dry feeling of typical mineral sunscreens. For a natural brightening effect, it's best to apply thin layers multiple times rather than one thick layer, which can leave a white cast. After some time, it slightly breaks down and clumps around the nose and where glasses sit due to sweat, but overall it maintains a powder-fresh finish without oiliness. The cherry blossom scent is pleasant and shouldn't be divisive. I appreciated that it doesn't develop an unpleasant smell when mixed with facial oils later. Blemishes: No eye irritation or post-use breakouts occurred. I only used this sunscreen as my base makeup, and received compliments on my skin looking good, so I'm overall satisfied with it.
ConsI was disappointed that it didn't cover my overall facial redness and actually made it appear more pronounced. While it's quite moisturizing for a mineral sunscreen, I don't think it would work well as a base for heavy makeup application.

I love how gentle it is.
ConsThe coverage is quite minimal, so it doesn't conceal imperfections very well, which was a bit disappointing.

It absorbs well too. No white cast at all.
ConsI'm not sure about its coverage or how long it lasts.
TipIt's great for when you just want to slightly even your skin tone. It's better than sunscreen for daily use as it brightens your complexion.

Unlike mineral sunscreens that can feel thick and heavy, this one glides on smoothly without pilling or clumping - it's as gentle as applying a hydrating moisturizer. It allows for a natural-looking brightening effect. I was worried it might leave a white cast since it's a brightening moisturizer sunscreen, but it evens skin tone very naturally without looking overly pale. However, don't expect dramatic brightening results. There's no eye irritation. I often worry about stinging when applying sunscreen, but this doesn't hurt my eyes at all, so I can safely use it around the eye area without concern. It's hydrating. This seems like a great sunscreen for winter use. Usually, mineral sunscreens make my skin feel dry in winter, but I think this one would work well year-round. Its moisturizing properties also make it a good base to apply before makeup.
ConsWhile it provides a natural brightening effect, it doesn't offer dramatic complexion enhancement. I had hoped it might be enough for a foundation-free look, but it doesn't quite provide that level of tone evening or coverage, which is slightly disappointing.

This is a great sunscreen for the current season, summer! It's a Hwahae-approved sunscreen that's moisturizing, less irritating, and perfect for makeup correction. The texture was optimized for brightening to prevent darkening. My skin, which is usually shade 23 with warm undertones, brightened up to a radiant shade 21! It pairs well with makeup, prevents darkening, and effectively reduces yellow saturation. While it should suit both warm and cool tones, I'd especially recommend it for cool-toned skin due to its pink-lavender brightening base! It has great staying power and lasts long without drying, remaining almost identical even after 12 hours. It didn't produce excess oil, so I didn't need to touch up with powder, which was convenient. It's nearly fragrance-free, doesn't sting, doesn't irritate the eyes, and doesn't cause facial heat. This makes it comfortable even for sensitive skin prone to blemishes and redness!
ConsWhen removing the product, simple foam cleansing isn't enough, so a second cleanse is necessary. Oil cleansing is a must for the first step! It's difficult to apply evenly due to pilling and clumping. I wouldn't recommend using it alone without makeup as it might look patchy. I was disappointed by its lack of coverage when used on areas with acne pigmentation. Don't expect much in terms of coverage.
TipBefore applying makeup, use about half the usual amount of sunscreen and layer it thinly multiple times. Make sure to apply it to your neck as well as your face to create an even complexion!

The tone-up effect was natural, not too white, and it gave my face a basic, polished look. While the coverage might be a bit light for wearing it alone, its lightweight texture makes it perfect for quick errands or before a workout.
ConsThe pretty pink packaging got my hopes up, but seeing the light pink cream color eased my worries about it being too brightening. After application, I was surprised by how natural the tone-up effect was. My complexion is already fair, so the brightening effect might be less noticeable, but for someone with dark spots like me, it felt more like a simple sunscreen without much coverage. I was hoping for a lively pink tone-up and coverage for dark spots, so it fell short on both counts. As I have dry skin, it felt a bit drying, so I'll need to apply a thorough base and maybe layer it.
TipI usually apply sunscreen generously and often reapply, but using too much of this product can cause pilling. It also felt a bit drying, so I mixed in some facial oil which helped reduce the pilling effect.

I've been especially wary of tone-up sunscreens. But this Make P:rem sunscreen feels genuinely hydrating rather than greasy, making it perfect for daily use. It's great under makeup and also works well on its own for quick outings. It's become my go-to sunscreen lately!
ConsIt doesn't provide coverage, so it won't hide blemishes. While it's not completely sweat-proof, it doesn't completely wash off with sweat either. But this is common for most sunscreens, so it's not a major issue!
TipIt's moisturizing and gives a natural brightening effect, so using it before makeup helps create a more radiant look!

As a low-irritation mineral sunscreen suitable for sensitive skin, I was worried about the white cast typically associated with mineral sunscreens. However, this one has minimal white cast and absorbs well with a smooth application. 2. The calamine in this brightening moisturizer seems to have a soothing effect on sensitive skin, as I experienced no irritation. 3. Make P:rem's proprietary DermaBalance™ Complex helps maintain healthy skin, making it suitable for daily use without concern. 4. What I appreciated most was the absence of artificial fragrances. Instead, it has a subtle, fresh scent derived from plant-based ingredients. 5. This brightening moisturizer with SPF is convenient as it provides both sun protection and evens skin tone with just one application. 6. As someone with sensitive eyes, I always check for any eye irritation when using cosmetics. This tone-up sunscreen caused no eye discomfort even after prolonged wear.
ConsDrawbacks: 1. While not a major issue, being a brightening moisturizer, it offers minimal coverage. 2. Due to the nature of mineral sunscreens, it's essential to use cleansing oil or similar products for thorough removal.
TipPro tip: For a more adherent and matte finish, try applying multiple thin layers instead of one thick layer.

My skin is also super sensitive, reacting easily to stress, cosmetic ingredients, and seasonal changes. ●Scent: There's a subtle herbal or floral fragrance that isn't overpowering. ●Texture: It has a slightly runny consistency. ●Application: It absorbs well without pilling, applying smoothly and hydrating the skin. ●Brightening effect: It gives a pink-toned glow that brightens the complexion. ●Feel on skin: It feels moisturizing when first applied, and after a few minutes, my skin feels velvety with a nice glow. There's no eye irritation or skin sensitivity at all. The best part is that it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Usually, sunscreens make my skin feel suffocated, making me want to remove them quickly. But with the Make P:rem Soothing Pink Tone Up Sun Cream, I don't feel that way at all. It feels as light as if I've only applied skincare, which is really impressive. I don't think I can use any other sunscreen after this!
Cons*Coverage: It only provides very sheer coverage, so it doesn't conceal blemishes. *Longevity: It mostly disappears when wearing a mask. This is quite disappointing.
Tip*Apply small amounts at a time for better absorption into the skin. *If you have combination dehydrated skin, make sure to apply a thorough skincare routine underneath.
