Curious about the gentle nature of mineral sunscreens again, I decided to give this one a try. Right from the first application, you can feel how mild it is. There's no irritation when it touches the skin, and it's fragrance-free, which is great. The slight white cast actually works in my favor, evening out my skin tone and improving texture when I go out bare-faced. Even after a full day, there was no darkening, and it didn't turn white when I sweat. Just remember to cleanse thoroughly with both oil and foam cleansers at the end of the day.
ConsBeing a mineral sunscreen, the texture is a bit thick and the white cast is quite noticeable. It doesn't wash off easily with water alone, so double cleansing is necessary. If you don't cleanse properly, it can lead to blemishes.
TipWith its gentle ingredients and strong UV protection, I think it would be perfect for summer vacations, even for children. Don't forget to pack it for your trips!

With my combination dehydrated skin, oil-free formulas tend to just sit on top of my skin. So I found it a bit challenging to apply on my face and used it on my hands and neck instead. Being a mineral sunscreen, it does leave a slight white cast. It's not completely invisible, so that's something to keep in mind. I loved how it brightened and evened out my skin tone. My neck tends to tan easily, so I've been using tone-up sunscreens. This one works great for that purpose too!
ConsWhile I don't have any major complaints, I wouldn't recommend this for combination dehydrated skin. The texture is a bit too rich, which can cause makeup to slightly separate on the face.

No skin irritation or eye stinging after application. Being vegan and containing mild ingredients suitable even for infants, it instills confidence when applying. Likely great for adults with super sensitive skin too.
ConsAs someone who usually uses chemical sunscreens, this mineral sunscreen... While it does have a brightening effect, it feels somewhat thick when applying. Although not uncomfortable to spread, the unfamiliar texture and color (brightening effect) felt a bit awkward! However, being a mineral sunscreen, it seems gentle and good for lightly applying on stuffy summer skin for a brightening effect.
TipThe brightening effect is quite noticeable. After applying this and lightly dusting with powder, you can go foundation-free. It's great for quick outings near home - you need to apply sunscreen anyway, so it's a bonus that it evens skin tone too.

So I switch between different products depending on the situation. Previously, I used the #1 bestselling sunscreen from Olive Young. It was gentle, didn't irritate my eyes, applied well, and absorbed quickly. I had to compromise on the whitening effect though. When I tried the vegan mineral sunscreen, what I loved most was its powerful whitening effect. It's also not too oily, so the effect lasts a long time. It doesn't hurt my eyes, and being vegan, I felt safe using it. Plus, it doesn't pill! Its natural whitening effect and ability to stay put are its best features. (I'm naturally fair-skinned, but this works great as a base or whitening cream for those who use #21 or #15 foundation.)
ConsThere was one inconvenience I noticed while using it. When I applied it like my usual products, if I didn't properly wipe off the sunscreen from my fingers, it left a strange sticky residue. Because it's not very oily, I didn't think it was the sunscreen at first. But it actually adheres well to the skin and stays on your fingers too. I noticed a slight stickiness when using my keyboard at work. So I always had to wash my hands, and when cleansing my face, I had to double cleanse as if removing makeup. Apart from this issue, I think I'll keep buying it for its tone-up effect, despite the inconvenience. It really doesn't pill at all and feels much better than a brightening moisturizer.
TipOn days when I want to go all out with my makeup, I apply the Lab Cle Vegan Mineral Sunscreen before foundation. If I don't want too much of a tone-up effect, I mix it half-and-half with another sunscreen. It blends well, so there's no issue using it this way. It reduces oiliness and can be used alone too. Most sunscreens aren't enough for a full face of makeup on their own, but the Lab Cle Vegan Mineral Sunscreen is great for light, solo use. I'll definitely keep using it for work! It's perfect as a summer sunscreen to wear alone, with excellent tone-up effects.

Highly recommended for acne-prone skin When choosing sunscreen, I prioritize finding one that won't irritate acne-prone skin or cause more blemishes. Surprisingly, this one feels non-irritating and I used it without worrying about acne or blemishes. 2. Texture and scent The texture is between a water-based and cream emulsion. It's a texture that can be applied without much burden. The scent is close to unscented, so even those sensitive to fragrances should be able to use it well. 3. Brightening effect At first application, I thought the white cast might be a bit severe, but it's not at all. Instead, I'm satisfied with how it evens skin tone. 3. Eye irritation While this may vary from person to person, as someone with sensitive skin, I usually avoid mineral sunscreens on my face due to eye irritation. However, I experienced no eye irritation while using this.
ConsWhen applying to larger areas like arms and legs, it has a slightly thick consistency which takes a bit more time to apply. Also, the amount feels a bit small (this is from the perspective of someone who uses it on face, arms, and legs).
Tip1. When applying to the face, if you use a puff to lightly layer it twice, it gives a beautiful Inner Glow effect over time, rather than an oily shine. 2. Before applying this sunscreen, it's recommended to use skincare products with more hydration rather than oil-based products.

The texture is slightly thick and clumpy, so you need to spread it well. But thanks to that, I like that I can apply it thoroughly and meticulously.
ConsIt's thicker than expected, so it takes a while to spread and apply. When cleansing, it's tough to remove without using an oil cleanser! You have to scrub quite vigorously, so cleansing takes a lot of time... The white cast is stronger than anticipated, so you need to be careful with the amount you use!

I really liked it! No irritation: I have super sensitive skin and eyes, so I've always struggled with blemishes and eye irritation when using other sunscreens. But with this Lab Cle sunscreen, I've never experienced any blemishes or eye irritation. Usually, when I put on contact lenses after applying sunscreen or when sweat mixes with sunscreen and gets into my eyes, it causes irritation. However, with this sunscreen, I didn't experience any eye irritation even when putting in lenses after applying it! It's the gentlest sunscreen I've ever used! Longevity: I sweat a lot, so thinner sunscreens always melted off, but this one seemed to have great staying power! Sun protection: (See the photo below comparing it to my usual sunscreen after being in bright sunlight for over 10 hours) I realized how incredibly important sunscreen is. There was a big difference between the areas with and without sunscreen. This sunscreen seems to provide even better protection than my usual product. White cast: Unlike other sunscreens that leave a grayish tint, this one blends naturally with my complexion without a noticeable white cast.
ConsStickiness: As you can see in the photo, the Lab Cle sunscreen is much thicker and creamier than other sunscreens. However, this means it feels quite sticky. It's okay on the face, but when applied to arms, legs, or neck, it feels quite heavy. Transfer: After applying the sunscreen, it transfers onto dark clothes much more than other sunscreens, even when compared side by side. The transfer is quite significant.
TipYou can greatly increase the longevity of your sunscreen by setting it with powder after application!

The texture is quite rich, probably due to the mineral formula. While the consistency itself isn't particularly hydrating, it does feel like it applies a bit thickly. I really trusted this sunscreen knowing it's safe for pregnant women and children. Despite its rich texture, it brightens the complexion so well, making it perfect for a bare-faced look. I have super sensitive skin and usually find other sunscreens uncomfortable after prolonged use, but this gentle formula felt so comfortable even after 5+ hours of wear - I barely noticed it was there! The ingredients seem great for sensitive skin. It's so convenient that it evens skin tone, eliminating the need for cushion foundation when going out bare-faced. I also love that it doesn't make my face oily. The long shelf life until 2027 is fantastic - I can use it with peace of mind for years to come!
ConsDue to its mineral formula, you really need to cleanse thoroughly. While I appreciate that it's less oily than other products, it's not very hydrating, which is disappointing. I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, prone to dead skin cells. Despite double cleansing with oil and foam, this product's rich texture makes it hard to remove completely. This led to blemishes. It's also too dry to use with foundation, so I found myself avoiding it. I used to get blemishes from wearing only sunscreen, and it turns out incomplete removal was the cause. On the bright side, it seems to provide better UV protection than other products. It evens skin tone really well and has skin regeneration and antibacterial effects, so I feel good about the ingredients. I just wish it was easier to remove.
TipFor those with oily skin like me, I highly recommend vinegar cleansing! Fill a basin with water, add a few drops of vinegar, use your cleansing foam, then rinse. Follow up with a refrigerated soothing gel - it's incredibly calming. The difficulty in removing it made me realize how strong its UV protection must be, making it suitable for use with kids even in midsummer. I highly recommend soothing gel for acne-prone skin! This is great for those who find makeup tedious - the way it evens skin tone is so convenient. The ingredients are all vegan mineral products with no animal-derived components, and it's very gentle, so those with sensitive skin should definitely try it! Just remember to pay extra attention to cleansing and exfoliating!
