First off, my skin type is dry and on the darker side (shade 23, even darker when tanned). True to its name, it applies as moisturizing as an essence. I've been using it since spring and it worked well through summer without feeling heavy! I even used this alone after dermatologist treatments! While it doesn't offer much coverage or tone correction, it still kept my skin from drying out when exposed to sunlight and wind! Occasionally, I experienced some small blemishes, but it wasn't frequent so it could have been due to other factors. It's great for use before makeup as it's hydrating and lightweight.

It goes on thin and moisturizing, so when I apply cushion foundation over it, there's no pilling at all. On days when I'm too lazy for a full makeup routine, this alone provides enough brightening to even out my complexion. I've received so many compliments on how good my skin looks when I wear this! It has a slight pink tint that seems to give me an extra boost of vitality. This product is truly a game-changer! The scent is somewhat reminiscent of old-fashioned toners, which might be off-putting for some.

There's such a wide variety of sun protection products these days. Being a sun serum, it doesn't leave any stickiness after application, giving a light and refreshing finish. The brightening moisturizer works quite well, giving a pink-tinted effect similar to wearing BB cream. It's not drying and keeps the skin hydrated. Personally, I found the scent too strong. No stickiness. Not overly rich! It absorbs perfectly, leaving skin just the right amount of moisturized and fresh. It's great as a base before applying makeup. A product without flaws... It has an emulsion-like texture. It applies smoothly and doesn't feel sticky. No white cast at all! The pump dispenser makes it convenient to use! As time passes, the skin can look a bit dry. It gives more of a matte finish rather than a dewy appearance. Instead of applying a thick layer at once, it's better to layer it thinly twice. The packaging is designed for very clean and easy use. Being a pump type, it's super convenient to use without having to squeeze. It seems to have a slight toner effect. I loved how it absorbs smoothly like a serum without feeling heavy. I use a slightly matte foundation, and I found that these two products work quite well together. While there's no white cast, it does leave a slight shine after application. It might be difficult to use as a standalone product, but it would work well when applied before foundation or cushion. It absorbs beautifully, making it perfect as a base before makeup. The scent is lovely, and best of all, there's no white cast. It feels gentle on my super sensitive skin that tends to get red and blotchy. It can feel a bit heavy during summer. However, it's great for spring, fall, and winter wear. If you prefer a light makeup look, this works wonderfully as a base.
