The way it absorbs seems pretty decent. It goes on smoothly and sinks into the skin well. First off, the yellow color is quite intense. It's a bit off-putting, to be honest. However, it doesn't seem to provide much hydration.

I had been using other products before without any side effects or blemishes, so I felt comfortable applying it nightly. I applied a small amount to my forehead, around the eyes, nasolabial folds, and neck. It felt moisturizing without being too sticky. I usually prepped my skin with a steam towel or massage before application. I've noticed that the crow's feet around my eyes, which appear when I smile, seem to have faded a bit. I focused on applying the product carefully around my eye area. While it's unrealistic to expect wrinkles to disappear completely in just a few weeks, I'm impressed enough to consider repurchasing this product. The quantity is way too small for the price. Also, I'm not a fan of the packaging. It would be better if they changed it to a more visible container or a tube format. During the oily summer months when pores tend to enlarge and skin loses elasticity, I recommend maintaining a consistent routine. After massaging, use a steam towel and exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells. Applying the product to well-prepped skin significantly improves its absorption. Having experienced great benefits from retinol for improving skin texture without side effects, I found the Bakuchiol serum equally gentle. After absorption, I lightly applied it to areas with pigmentation and old acne marks, finishing with a hydrating cream. The color is a vibrant forsythia yellow. I was initially concerned about staining, but it's absolutely nothing to worry about! While it was initially recommended to use every two weeks, I've been using it every other day and monitoring the changes. Brightening and pigmentation improvements may take longer to see results, but after just half a bottle, I could feel a smoother, softer skin texture the next morning during cleansing, similar to retinol effects! When I saw the product description mentioning retinal, which is said to be more stable than retinol, along with bakuchiol, which is similar to collagen, I got really excited. I thought, 'Wow, if this works well for me, it would be amazing!' So I eagerly tested it out. Those with sensitive skin, please be very careful! I have sensitive skin too. Ironically, I never had this issue when using retinol. When I first used this product, I applied one pump all over my face. It's essential to control the amount, and when you start, apply just a tiny bit! Unfortunately, right after applying it, my skin reacted the next day. Throughout the entire Hwahae Testers period, it didn't calm down. Only now is my skin slowly returning to its original state. I'm not sure what the problem was, but this was the only change in my skincare routine.

I focused on my nose and butterfly zone on my cheeks, using it every other day. After three applications, I temporarily stopped. Though I didn't apply much, I didn't experience peeling. However, the treated areas felt like the skin had thinned. It was as if the skin barrier was compromised, causing a stinging sensation and redness. I also noticed some blemishes appearing. After discontinuing use, I applied a barrier cream for 4-6 days, which reduced the stinging. Since I only used it a few times, I'm not sure about its effectiveness. Even when using a tiny amount, the pump dispenses more product than expected.
