  I was very worried that my sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin wouldn't agree with the product before using it, but fortunately, there were no breakouts or irritation. The gel-type soothing cream is oil-free, and I felt a cooling sensation as soon as I applied it, which helped immediately reduce the heat in my skin. The refreshing, non-greasy finish was very pleasing to me. Personally, I enjoy the subtle scent of houttuynia, so I also liked the gentle fragrance. The appropriate amount and good value for money mean I would definitely consider repurchasing. I think it would be suitable for oily or combination skin types to use in all seasons except winter. (Dry skin types could use it in the summer.)

  There is no particular downside to it. I'm still very satisfied with it.

  Tip

  Since there is no spatula, I would recommend tube-type products as much as possible. It is also good from a hygiene perspective, but it is also convenient to use.

  It's like a hybrid between an emulsion and a cream? The consistency is just right - not too runny, so it doesn't drip. As someone sensitive to fragrances, I appreciate that it's nearly unscented, making it comfortable to use. When applied, it feels cool and refreshing while still being hydrating. It absorbs well without feeling greasy or sitting on top of the skin. You really have to try it to understand the sensation. What's great is that you can refill the container, which is eco-friendly. It seems to really help with deep dryness and dehydration! The Houttuynia Cordata line is known for its excellent soothing properties, and with its cooling effect, it's perfect to use now as the weather gets hotter.

  I received the product in a package containing a round cylindrical container and a refill. No spatula was included, so I used one I already had. Upon opening, I found a creamy, pudding-like substance with an opaque white color (similar to an electrolyte drink). It has a scent reminiscent of healthy herbal medicine. Being a hydrating moisturizer, the viscosity appears to be relatively low. Using a spatula, I applied a small amount. It spread easily with a cool, gliding sensation and absorbed quickly, leaving my skin feeling soft and supple. While it's described as having a 'water barrier' formula, rather than feeling like it forms a protective layer, it seems to adhere to the skin. Due to its excellent absorption, you might think you haven't applied enough, but you'll notice the difference as it fills your skin with hydration. As expected from a hydrating moisturizer, it's oil-free and packed with moisture. Unlike many other hydrating creams that often lead to oil build-up after a while, this product maintained a soft, non-greasy feel without immediate oil production. During my first use, I applied more than I thought necessary, but it absorbed well without leaving any residue, which I appreciated. However, this made it challenging to determine the right amount to use. Until you find your perfect amount, you might go through the product quickly, although the quantity isn't small. I think this product would be suitable for those with oily skin in spring, summer, and fall, and for those with dry skin during summer.

Initially, it feels a bit sticky due to its high moisture content, but it quickly settles into a non-sticky finish while maintaining hydration. I'm usually sensitive to strong scents, but this has a fresh, subtle fragrance that doesn't irritate my eyes or skin, making it feel very comfortable. As it's a moisture-rich cream, it's great for dry skin types to use before applying a richer cream, helping to lock in hydration for longer.   The soothing formula is lightweight yet incredibly hydrating. As I mentioned, it's a light texture that doesn't feel heavy or suffocating when applied to the face.   In my opinion, the product size is the main drawback. While it comes with a refill, which isn't a small amount, I wish the main product itself came in a larger size that could last the entire summer. It would be great if they could release a limited-time, large-size version as a summer special event.

  It should work well on its own during summer. However, for winter use or for those who prefer extra nourishment in the evening, I'd recommend layering another cream on top of this one.

  My skin tends to be quite sensitive, prone to occasional breakouts, and suffers from deep dryness! I had a good experience with Goodal's skin essence before, so I decided to try this product too. The ingredients are so gentle that I didn't experience any blemishes at all after using it for about two weeks. As a soothing product, the texture feels somewhat bouncy and hydrating. There's a very subtle scent reminiscent of centella products, which I find refreshing since I usually use fragrance-free items. When applied to the skin, it's not just a purely hydrating product - there's a slight richness that gives a bit of glow right after application! Once it's fully absorbed, it naturally sinks in, making it really helpful for combating deep dryness.

  Cons

  There weren't really any downsides! It's just that instead of being in a squeeze tube, you have to scoop it out, which can be a bit of a hassle... But you get used to it after a while!

  Tip

  Unlike other lightweight moisturizers that absorb quickly, this one needs to be gently patted in with your fingers for a while to slowly absorb. This method really helped with deep dryness.

  The lack of a built-in applicator was surprising. For this type of jar packaging, using fingers can introduce dust, so I was shocked there wasn't a tip or spatula included. Luckily, I had a spatula from another jar product I was already using, so I used that.

  Tip

  If you use a hair dryer after applying this, it feels cool where the air hits and doesn't dry out your face. It's quite nice. I usually do a mask routine, but after trying this, I've been using it instead of masks.
