While the cleansing power is not bad, personally I think the Epryl I used to use is better. The eyes sting when it gets in them ㅠㅠ.. So I have no plans to repurchase it. - mi**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessMar 9, 2025
I'm using the entire Banila Co cleansing balm! It's gentle and non-irritating. The small amount for the price is a bit disappointing. I've been using the pink original balm and tried the nourishing version too, but I can't feel a significant difference. - ja********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 17, 2025
1. Great cleansing effectiveness - it removes eye makeup and foundation thoroughly (though I don't wear mascara). 2. The quantity is generous, and when it's on sale for around 15,000 won like now, it's quite cost-effective. 3. I have super sensitive skin, but after a week of double cleansing (first with Banila Co cleansing balm, then with this cleansing foam), I haven't experienced any adverse reactions, which is satisfying. 4. I love that when I use this product alone for cleansing, my face doesn't feel tight or excessively dry. The only downside is that it's a bit tricky to control the amount. It's better to dispense small amounts at a time. - dl********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 27, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is great and the texture is very gentle. It seems to remove sebum well as you roll it on your skin. As someone with sensitive, combination dehydrated skin, and thin skin, I experienced blemishes similar to folliculitis in localized areas after use. There was also a slight feeling of deep dryness after the moisture evaporated. - c7********Combination SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 21, 2025
• The fragrance was lovely • The cleansing effectiveness was quite good • It's incredibly gentle on the skin • After washing, my skin feels soft and smooth • Some people might find the scent a bit strong - yu******Combination SkinDark CirclesRecommendedJan 9, 2025
I didn't use it as makeup, but I used it to remove sunscreen. It removes it well. After cleansing and applying emulsion, I didn't experience any blemishes. There are no drawbacks, really none. After using it, my face might feel slightly tight, but I'm not sure. It's not a big deal. It's not bad. - jg******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 28, 2024
I love that you can cover your entire face with just a small amount. I switched from using Numbuzin because I was going through it too quickly, and this one has a more concentrated, high-density texture. You don't need to use much as it melts smoothly and removes makeup effectively. After using it, it seems to provide hydration. Compared to just applying sunscreen and using foam cleanser once, my face feels much softer and more moisturized after wearing makeup and using this cleansing balm followed by foam cleanser. Mascara is always tough to remove, but aside from that, I haven't found any downsides yet. - rl***********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 1, 2024
It's a reliable cleanser that effectively removes both sunscreen and cushion foundation. The mild scent makes it comfortable to use regularly. When used on days when my skin is irritated, it tends to cause a slight tingling sensation, almost like a mild allergic reaction. - wj**********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 28, 2024
After using cleansing oils, I heard balm-type cleansers were better, so I decided to give this a try. Unlike oils that almost always require double cleansing, I found it convenient that a thorough first cleanse with this balm often eliminates the need for a second wash. It seems to cleanse really well and is gentle on the skin. It's even quite effective at removing mascara. I appreciate that it comes with a spatula, and there's a dedicated space in the inner lid to store it, which is really handy. Additional note: Even mascara with a thick layer of fixer comes off perfectly with a bit of extended rolling. I think I'll be sticking with this product from now on. Controlling the amount can be a bit tricky... It's unavoidable since you have to scoop it out yourself. It's also a shame that being a balm type, it can only come in a jar form. It's marketed as being for dry skin types, claiming to leave the skin moisturized without tightness after cleansing. While it doesn't feel tight, it's not particularly hydrating either. Still, I'm satisfied overall. The entire Banila Co cleansing balm line seems to have excellent cleansing effectiveness. It's fascinating and really great that each variant offers different benefits. - lo*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 8, 2024
It removes even mascara effectively and is gentle on the skin - a big plus! It doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes! If you massage it in for a while, it can even help control sebum production. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's pretty decent overall! Though I'm not sure if it delivers all the effects claimed on the packaging. If you take your time to massage it in well, it helps regulate oil production.
