As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts to almost anything, I was hesitant about double cleansing after makeup. But I decided to try this cleansing balm! I heard sensitive skin types should use the blue one, so that's what I got. Unlike cleansing oils that make my face red even when they're gentle, Banila Co was different... I used to love their cleansing foam, and this balm is just as amazing. It removes makeup effectively and leaves my nose so smooth. To all my fellow sensitive skin warriors out there, please trust me and give the Banila Co cleansing balm a try!!! There's nothing I disliked! When I searched for cleansing balms, this product came up first, so I bought it. The cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive. Even waterproof mascara dissolves well and comes off easily with this. Naturally, it removes lip products and base makeup effortlessly too. The balm texture is its biggest advantage, allowing for a gentle, non-irritating cleanse as it melts away makeup. I discovered that this product comes in various lines like Calming, Nourishing, and Original. Once I finish this one, I plan to try the other versions. I'll definitely repurchase - it was a great buy! On days when I wear light makeup, it cleanses so well that a second cleanse isn't necessary. I haven't found any downsides yet. I've been using this for about a month, and I love how it effectively removes light dead skin cells, eyebrow makeup, and lip color. Best of all, the gentle ingredients caused minimal irritation even for my sensitive skin. The emulsification process works well, and with no burning sensation, I felt comfortable using it daily! While the included applicator tip would be nice to use, I kept misplacing it and eventually found it more convenient to scoop the product with my fingers. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. I've used up a green and a pink bottle, and then tried a blue sample I received. I liked it so much that I bought a full-size bottle. While the green one gave a squeaky clean feeling, the blue one had a real soothing effect. There was no irritation from cleansing. Of course, true to Banila Co's reputation, it removed makeup thoroughly as well. Unlike with the green one, after cleansing with the blue, my face felt extremely dry and tight. I usually apply moisturizer right after cleansing, so it's not a big deal, but if I had to point out a flaw, this would be it. This product is truly amazing! The cleansing effectiveness is incredible. Just a gentle rub and all my makeup comes off, eliminating the need for a second cleanse. I have super sensitive skin and usually experience a tingling sensation with cleansing products, but this one is absolutely non-irritating and removes makeup gently. It's also helped reduce my redness significantly. Highly recommended! If you're looking to target pores specifically, I wouldn't recommend this product. I've been using this for a couple of months now, and I'm really satisfied! It removes makeup thoroughly without any irritation. Since I started using this cleansing balm, I haven't experienced any blemishes at all, which is great! This product is designed for super sensitive skin, so there was absolutely no irritation. As long as you emulsify it properly, you won't get any blemishes. I honestly can't find anything to complain about! The emulsification process is crucial! Make sure you don't skip it! If you have super sensitive skin, don't even think twice - just buy this! I've tried other cleansing oils and balms that caused blemishes or redness. When I switched to gentler products, they didn't remove makeup effectively. Then I tried the green version, which was gentle and amazing. Since that one was for oily skin, I decided to try this sensitive skin version. Oh my goodness, it removes makeup so well! It's even gentler but still incredibly effective at cleansing. Absolutely fantastic! The only downside is that the spatula on top falls off every time you open the lid. It's a shame it doesn't stay in place very well.
