The Hwahae Testers highly recommend the Vanilla Co. Cleansing Balm, as it is excellent overall, but the wide variety can make it difficult to choose. For sensitive skin, you must go with the blue one! It rinses off cleanly, leaves no dryness, and effectively removes excess sebum. There is no residue left behind, and it wipes away thoroughly, making it truly wonderful.🥰 Botanic oils or balm-type products can cause oiliness and breakouts if used incorrectly. This is the real best option. It even has a soothing effect, so it can eliminate trouble. - ja********Oily SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 18, 2025
The tint or cushion wipes off cleanly and doesn't feel irritating in the eyes, which I really like. The spoon is a bit short, so it's disappointing. I can't scoop it all the way to the bottom. - 12******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 12, 2025
I've been using the original version for a while and decided to try this one when it was on sale. There's a slight scent, perhaps similar to cica? It didn't particularly irritate my sensitive skin, and the texture feels a bit lighter than the original. It's effective at removing sunscreen and has a lighter feel compared to the original cleansing balm. When melted in your hands, it removes makeup well. I got it for around $12 during a sale, and I'm quite satisfied with my purchase. As someone who's used the original for a long time, I find the cleansing effectiveness a bit lacking in comparison. On days when I've worn makeup for a long time and want to thoroughly remove it, even after emulsifying carefully, it doesn't seem to remove sebum as cleanly as the original (though this might be a plus for those who prefer gentler cleansing!). It manages to remove mascara, but I doubt it would be sufficient for heavy eye makeup. There are times when I want a deep cleanse with a cleansing balm, and this falls short for those occasions. Also, it seems they've added fragrance to differentiate between product lines, which feels unnecessary to me. If you're looking for a balm-type cleanser that's slightly lighter than the pink original, this product might be a good option for you! - hy****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMay 11, 2025
The overall color is uniquely charming, I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Thumbs up! It really didn't work for me at all. My eyes felt incredibly irritated, and I just didn't like it. It didn't remove my makeup well, left residue, and was overall disappointing. Don't waste your money on this, everyone. - tk******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 6, 2025
Honest review of Banila Co Clean It Zero Calming Cleansing Balm With sensitive and extremely dry skin, I'm always cautious when choosing cleansing products. I heard that the Calming Cleansing Balm from Banila Co's renowned cleansing balm line is particularly suitable for sensitive skin like mine, so I decided to purchase and try it myself. What I loved most after using it: • Texture that melts effortlessly on skin It dissolves smoothly as soon as you massage it, cleansing without irritation. I was impressed by how gentle it felt from the first application. • Effectively dissolves sebum in pores I noticed it particularly cleared out blackheads and sebum around my nose. Thorough cleansing without irritation! • Skin feels incredibly hydrated after cleansing It leaves a soft, moisturized finish without any tightness, so comfortable that I didn't even need a second cleanse. • Lighter than oil cleansers, emulsifies cleanly It emulsifies easily with water and doesn't sting if it gets in your eyes, making it suitable even for sensitive eye areas. • Reduced redness after cleansing Perhaps due to its gentleness, I hardly experienced any flushing after cleansing. Using a spatula to scoop out the product is a bit inconvenient While it's hygienic, it's not the most convenient for daily use. It's an unavoidable aspect of the balm format! Recommended for: • Super sensitive skin prone to dryness • Those seeking effective yet gentle cleansing • People who want a moisturizing finish after cleansing • Those who prefer mild products without strong fragrances - al*******Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 28, 2025
It removes makeup effectively, causes minimal eye irritation, and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. I really like that. While washing, you might wonder if you've cleaned thoroughly enough. That's why I recommend following up with a second cleanse. - ju************Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I bought this to remove sunscreen, and I chose the Calming version because it's supposed to be gentler than the original and suitable for sensitive skin. First off, it cleanses incredibly well. It doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes, and it effectively removes sebum, which is very satisfying. It wasn't irritating to my skin at all. The sorbet-like texture melts easily with body heat and feels very smooth. It emulsifies perfectly, and I love that it doesn't leave an oily residue after rinsing. It's really great! There are no downsides... honestly, none at all. I'll definitely repurchase when I run out... This is truly a cleansing balm that I adore. - ok*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 24, 2025
One of my friends has super sensitive skin, and she recommended this cleansing balm to me, so I decided to give it a try. I used to use cleansing oils, but they were irritating and made my folliculitis worse when I had it. Scared by that experience, I did some research and found this balm to be the best option considering its price and various aspects. They included two sample kits, so I tried those before opening the full-size product. The day before, I had only used foam cleanser to remove my sunscreen, which didn't seem to clean it off completely. My skin was on the verge of breaking out! So I quickly opened the package and used this for cleansing. It felt so refreshing! Not because of any harsh sensations, but because it felt like it thoroughly cleaned out my pores. The scent isn't bad either. I expected it to be solid, but surprisingly, it has a powdery texture. Oh, and even though I really massaged it in, it didn't cause any tingling at all. How can it be so gentle? Since I've only used it for the first time today, I'm not sure about any drawbacks yet. If I notice any after using it more, I'll update my review! - q3****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 24, 2025
It removes makeup well and is gentle on the skin. As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciated that it didn't cause any irritation. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it, but if you don't cleanse thoroughly, you might get blemishes. - dh*********Dry SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2025
It gently removes makeup effectively. I think even those with dry skin could use this. It's a bit challenging to scoop out the product with the included spoon.
