Great value for money! It removes makeup effectively without irritation. The makeup comes off easily like water, leaving your skin feeling fresh and clean as if you've just washed your face. I can't think of any downsides! It's challenging to come up with something negative when there isn't anything. - go********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 25, 2024
The scent is barely noticeable! That makes it pleasant to use, and it removes makeup effectively. It can sting a bit if it gets in your eyes, but I think that's common with most cleansing waters! - gh*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 20, 2024
I usually struggle with removing my heavy-duty makeup. Eye makeup removers often sting my eyes or irritate my skin, while cleansing oils can be too harsh and cause a burning sensation. After much deliberation, I decided to give this product a try, thinking I had nothing to lose. I took a double-layered cotton pad, moistened it with just enough cleansing water, and started removing my eye makeup. And wow, it was a revelation! Is cleansing water supposed to remove makeup this gently and effectively? It even removed my lipstick and base makeup without any oiliness. It felt like the cotton pad was absorbing all my makeup. I'm definitely sticking with this Illuminel Cleansing Water from now on. If I had to find something to criticize, it would be that it's a bit tricky to control the amount dispensed. Since it's a water-based product, it's hard to gauge how much to use on the cotton pad for optimal cleansing without leaving the skin too dry or too damp. If anyone has tips, please share! After using it for a few months, I've noticed that on days when I wear cushion foundation, it doesn't remove all my makeup completely. Double cleansing seems necessary in those cases. I now use it mainly on days when I've only applied sunscreen. Why didn't I discover this sooner? It's a product that achieves the seemingly impossible task of effectively removing lip and eye makeup while being gentle on the skin!
