The sun stick I used before was too lightweight, so it felt a bit stiff when applied and some sun stick residue would get pushed onto my skin, which was uncomfortable. But this one didn't have that issue at all. However, the formula isn't extremely moisturizing, but it's not drying either - it's a refreshing, lightweight texture. It's not stiff, so it glides on smoothly. Even though it's for dry skin, it didn't make my skin feel tight later on, nor did it make my skin overly oily. It seems like a versatile product that would suit most skin types well. The case also twists smoothly, which is convenient. 🤍Breakouts: I didn't experience any breakouts at all. I think even sensitive skin types could use this. 🤍Scent: It has a slight aloe + cucumber-like scent, which I found refreshing. But the scent may be divisive. The high SPF makes this a great, fuss-free option for summer! I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a non-drying sun stick.
ConsThe stick is elongated, and I found that it doesn't quite fit the contours of my face - I want to swipe it broadly across my forehead or cheeks, but it doesn't apply as evenly that way. I have to apply it vertically to get good coverage. But I think as I use it more, it will mold better to the shape of my face. Also, since it applies transparently, I'm not sure how well the sun protection is working. The only other downside is that the cooling effect isn't as strong as I expected.
TipSince it doesn't feel sticky or tacky, I think it would be great to apply on the neck or body as well.

Luckily, I was selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer for Tokoboso's Cica products, and after using them, I thought they were overall great!👍 #Packaging You twist the bottom of the container to use it, and it has a nice clicking feel as you twist it up and down, making it easy to apply. #Texture It goes on so transparently and smoothly, you almost can't tell it's there. It's very gentle and non-irritating. #No Breakouts❌ No Warming❌ I have sensitive skin that tends to get flushed, but I didn't experience any breakouts or warming after using it. #Usage I didn't really feel an immediate cooling effect, but I didn't experience any warming either, which was good. I used the Tokoboso Sun Stick, then topped it with a sun pact, and finished with concealer for my base makeup. It maintained the right amount of moisture without feeling heavy or cakey, and I didn't feel any dryness, so the soothing effects were noticeable. #Fragrance As someone who doesn't like strong scents, I didn't find the fragrance to be bothersome at all during use. #Portability The great thing about sun sticks is how convenient they are! The application and finish are so nice, it's really handy to just carry around and quickly reapply to any areas needing sun protection. I haven't tried it over makeup yet, but I'll update on whether it causes any pilling or shifting later. Overall, it seems like a gentle product that doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable. I'm very satisfied and would definitely repurchase!
ConsThe only thing I'm still a bit unsure about is that it goes on so transparently, so I'm not always sure if I'm applying enough sun protection. But if the sun protection is effective, I think it's an otherwise great product.
