For thorough sun protection, I use sunscreen before going out and then touch up with this sunstick when I'm out. I've heard that fewer cosmetic ingredients are better for the skin, so I'm sticking to the same Tocobo line.

Due to its soft texture, it might break easily... It hadn't happened before, but maybe because I've been tossing it around in my bag, it snapped at the base connection when I was about halfway through. I managed to stick it back together like a lip balm, though!

Being a hydrating product, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types in humid summers. At first, it gives a dewy glow, but it started to feel a bit slick on my skin... I'll need to find a summer-specific sunstick.

I'm down to about 1/4 left. This review is from someone who used it at least 3 times a day!

This is truly my holy grail sunstick! I carry it everywhere and recommend it to everyone. I was already on my third tube of Tocobo's sunscreen from the same line, and since it worked so well for me, I decided to try the sunstick too.

First off, the scent is a cool cucumber fragrance, just like the sunscreen. (Big fan of cucumber here!) If you're not into that, you might want to look elsewhere...

I think the texture is crucial for sun protection products since you need to reapply them frequently. In that regard, I highly recommend Tocobo's green sunstick! It's a hydrating formula that glides on smoothly without irritating the skin, and it's great for cooling down heat! I've found that overly firm sunsticks can actually cause redness due to friction... Plus, its softness makes it easy to apply even on tricky areas like around the nose.

Eye irritation is a big concern for me, but this didn't sting at all when applied to my eyelids.

I have oily skin, but I'd especially recommend this for those with dry skin! For oily skin types, I'd suggest it for any season except summer!

It's perfect for quickly swiping on the neck.
I don't use it on my face after foundation as I'm worried about pilling,
but I apply it to my neck after my foundation has set.

The sunscreen dispenser at the bottom is inconvenient.
You have to manually twist it each time you use it.

It goes on without any white cast, leaves a soft and matte finish, and is gentle on the skin - I love it!
The stick format is great because you can apply it without getting your hands messy.

Application:
It applies smoothly with a cool, lightweight feel. Rather than being completely matte, it leaves a hydrated sensation on the skin.
However, it does leave a slight residue, which might be noticeable during summer use.

Packaging design:
The light mint green color gives it a fresh look, making it a cute addition to your summer cosmetic pouch!

It was more rich than I expected... But to be fair, I have extremely oily skin, so everything tends to feel greasy on me. Also, on a day when I reapplied it three times, it seemed to clog my pores, causing a breakout of tiny blemishes that won't go away. However, this might be due to my job in a dirty environment where sweat, sunscreen, and dust all mix together.

Absorbs well! The scent is pleasant! Easy to reapply throughout the day! At first, I found it a bit difficult to apply on my face, but after using it a few times, it went on smoothly. The fragrance might be divisive - I like it, but it could be a matter of personal preference. It's super convenient to carry around and apply during outdoor activities!
