Purchase motivation I received a sample before and was impressed by how well it adhered to my skin and its excellent staying power. I tried other foundations in the meantime, but they either broke down quickly or caused blemishes, so I eventually came back to Lancôme. I was looking for a long-lasting foundation that wouldn't break down even in summer, and I liked that it had the PO-01 color that matched well with the bright and radiant 21 shade, so I purchased the full-size product. ✔️The staying power is truly long-lasting It lasts so well that I can go from clocking in to clocking out with hardly any touch-ups. It doesn't easily break down with sweat or sebum, and even if there's a slight oil buildup, it wears off beautifully, giving me confidence all day long. ✔️It doesn't break down messily Other foundations would often break down in patches around the nose or chin, but this product naturally blends into the skin texture over time, so it doesn't look untidy. It also doesn't pill when touching up and layers well. ✔️The coverage is medium to high Even with just a thin layer, it covers redness and blemishes quite well. It can handle most redness without concealer, so it was enough on its own for my work makeup. If you want more coverage, you can build it up in small amounts without it looking cakey. ✔️It applies smoothly and evenly While the texture isn't particularly moisturizing, it adheres to the skin really well. It spreads evenly without any patchiness whether you use a brush or puff, so I think even makeup beginners could use it comfortably. ✔️The color is bright and radiant PO-01 has a pink base, so it doesn't make the skin look dull and brings it to life with a radiant glow. It should suit those who usually use 21 or light 21 shades. This foundation is the ultimate champion for skin perfection. If you choose the right shade, it could become your holy grail foundation. The staying power is impressive too. The coverage is moderate. Since it has a matte formula, if you blend it quickly, it doesn't leave any visible lines. I apply it with a spatula and then pat it with a puff. The key is to use a very light touch, barely tapping the skin - this prevents any clumping. Applying with fingers can leave marks and cause the product to clump. Also, the coverage isn't high, so if you try to build it up, it tends to cake. You need to be careful and gently pat it on. The staying power is impressive. It made my skin texture look beautiful. Department store foundations are definitely in a league of their own. Even though I have very oily skin, it feels a bit matte in winter. For a beautiful complexion, try mixing it with BB cream like they do at beauty shops. This foundation is absolutely perfect for combination dehydrated skin! It's not too matte, but it helps control deep dryness a bit. As time passes, you can feel it setting nicely. I'm on my fourth bottle! It works well in all seasons, has great staying power, and even when it fades, it does so beautifully. I've thought about trying other products, but nothing compares, so I keep using this. There's nothing negative to say except for the price. I tried a sample, loved how it made my skin look, and have been using it ever since. Based on shade 21, it's a beautiful foundation that's adequately bright and radiant. It doesn't break down in an unsightly way. The coverage is excellent, and it sets to a matte finish, making your skin look flawless after application. Unfortunately, it tends to rub off when wearing a mask, and the staying power isn't great. By afternoon, it starts to cake on the forehead and can cause some darkening.
