Personally, the adhesion, longevity, and coverage are all great. After using Givenchy, I forgot what it's like to have something crumble... I also forgot what darkening is. The skin expression is just glowing and the skin looks great. Other people don't know, but on the days I used Unrisia, I would get pimples and think it was just a coincidence, so I used it for several days in a row. Then my face opened up like a volcanic area, and since then I haven't been using it, but I feel like I'm the only one like this...... When applied with a spatula, it spread more evenly and adhered better than when just spread by hand. - 92*****Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
I have combination dehydrated to oily skin, and in summer my oil production and sweat go into overdrive! I bought this product after hearing it was similar to Hera's Black Cushion. To cut to the chase - it's absolutely fantastic! I did my makeup, then spent an hour on the stepper, sweating profusely, and somehow my skin looked even better...? That's a first for me! As time passed, I noticed my skin looking more and more beautiful. I think this will be perfect for summer use! The shade is exactly my taste and gives a lovely, bright complexion. If you've enjoyed Hera's Black Cushion, you should definitely give this a try! It's not the easiest to control, so beginners might want to think carefully before purchasing! The built-in puff wasn't a great match, so I applied a thin layer with a spatula and then patted it in with a 12-pack puff from Daiso. - kj*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2024
This cushion foundation delivers a flawless skin finish comparable to traditional foundations, with a clean feel and impressive longevity. I prefer the classic shade 22 with a yellow base, and I usually go for comfortable, hydrating bases that prioritize preventing breakdown over coverage. However, this Black Cushion really stands out with its robust semi-matte to glow formula that sets immediately and maintains its appearance with minimal deterioration throughout the day. While it's marketed as semi-matte, I find it's closer to matte than glow, but there's definitely a hint of radiance. It's not completely matte or drying - I typically favor very dewy, moisturizing bases, but I don't feel any dryness with this one. The formula pumps up when pressed, and the color is a beautifully elegant ivory shade. It's one of the prettiest yellow-based 21 shades I've seen, which makes it excellent for covering redness. The coverage is impressive without feeling thick, somehow creating a smooth, egg-shell-like finish. It sets quickly on the skin, contributing to its excellent staying power. Only a slight oil film develops, with minimal breakdown. For me, it's perfect for days when I need more lasting power and a polished skin look, feeling more like a foundation than a typical cushion. The application process can be a bit tricky and cumbersome. Simply dabbing the pumped-up formula with the puff doesn't seem to apply it evenly, and using a spatula to scoop out the product is challenging. I always end up using a spatula brush (like the one from WAKEMAKE) for application. While the formula works well with the included puff and it's hygienic, it feels more complicated to use compared to regular sponge cushions. Also, I suspect it might become drying as the weather gets colder. It feels like the perfect summer base for my dry skin type.
