The cleansing power is absolutely phenomenal! It leaves your skin feeling squeaky clean, yet there's minimal deep dryness after washing. Even the sebum around the nose area noticeably diminishes!!! Being a foam cleanser in a tube, the opening is quite large, making it challenging to control how much product comes out.. A tiny amount is enough to create ample lather, so use sparingly! It's gentle and has a pleasant scent. The texture isn't too thick, making it comfortable to use. There's nothing I dislike about it. It's not harsh at all, and while it's not a full-on deep cleanse, I'd say it's more of a semi-deep cleansing experience. The best part? It cleanses thoroughly without stripping away moisture, which I really appreciate. However, it seems this product doesn't have the power to really pull out those stubborn sebum plugs. I've been using this for about 3-4 weeks, and it's truly a game-changer. Blackheads? Whiteheads? What are those? This product is incredibly effective. It clings to your skin firmly, giving you the feeling that it's drawing out all the sebum. After using this, your complexion definitely becomes brighter. I think it would be great for people with oily skin to try. It's excellent for refining skin texture! The scent might be hit or miss for some people, but I found it okay. The Mugwort Clay Pack Foam is meant to be used as a pack and then rinsed off with water, right? But I found it works well as a gentle foam cleanser too. After using it for a few weeks, I wanted to give an honest review. I have oily skin with lots of pores and I'm quite sensitive, so I can't just use any cleanser. Initially, I was skeptical about this product, but it turned out to be surprisingly good. The best part was that there's almost no tightness after cleansing. Most clay or absorption-based cleansers tend to be harsh and cause dryness or tingling, but this one left my skin feeling gentle and hydrated, which was a pleasant surprise. The fine mugwort particles and the rich texture adhere softly to the skin, effectively removing impurities and seemingly clearing out pores. I was particularly satisfied with how it reduced shine and refined my skin texture after washing - you can really see the difference in the mirror. If I had to point out a downside, it's that the product seems more focused on soothing and oil control rather than deep cleansing. You'll need a separate makeup remover or first cleanser for makeup. Also, on particularly sensitive days, the mugwort particles could feel slightly tingly. On those days, I just used it as a foam cleanser without the pack, applying it gently. Here's a personal tip: instead of using it like a regular cleanser, try leaving it on for 1-2 minutes like a pack, then gently massage it off with lukewarm water. This method is much more effective - it's great for clearing out pores and leaves your skin feeling firm. I highly recommend this technique, especially in summer when your skin tends to get oilier. Overall, I think this product works well for those with oily, sensitive skin and pore concerns. It's non-irritating yet effective for pore care, and the subtle mugwort scent is pleasant. However, it's a bit too harsh to use as a mask. Also, rather than feeling like it's thoroughly cleansing deep into my pores, it feels more like it's absorbing all the oil, leaving my skin feeling tight and parched. It's not very visible in the photo, but after using this, I developed some blemishes and redness around my nose area. I never get breakouts on my nose, but this happened after I focused on using the product there. I only used it twice, but it felt like my skin barrier was compromised and my oil and moisture balance was thrown off. Sigh... Fortunately, consistently applying a repairing cream helped my skin recover. For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, this product might be too intense. It seems to work hard at cleansing, but it may disrupt the skin's natural balance. I was eager to try a product with mugwort, so I decided to purchase this one! Hanyul is well-known and seems gentle, so I chose this among various pack-to-foam products. While I probably won't repurchase, there were some positives. After using it, I definitely felt like my oily skin was more balanced, and my skin felt hydrated. I especially noticed fewer sebum plugs around my nose area, which was great. However, while it temporarily helped with sebum control, I didn't feel like it reduced sebum production overall. I was disappointed with the texture and scent. Since this was my second pack-to-foam product, I naturally compared it to the previous one I'd used. The sticky consistency made it difficult to spread evenly, which was frustrating. As for the fragrance, I'm not sure if it's mugwort or something else (though I suspect it's mugwort), but the strong herbal smell was quite off-putting. The foam is rich and soft, and you can visibly see how clean your face is after washing! The cleansing effectiveness is excellent, and even though I have combination dehydrated skin, it doesn't cause any deep dryness after cleansing, which I love. I'm already on my third bottle. There's honestly not a single thing I'm dissatisfied with. I'm using this product with complete satisfaction.
