  The texture is wonderfully soft and absorbs lightly, which I love. While it goes on light, it leaves a rich feeling afterwards, making it perfect for nighttime use. True to its gel-cream nature, it has a creamy consistency with plenty of hydration in a gel form. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm pleased that it doesn't cause any irritation - it's really gentle.

  The downside might be the fragrance. I think the scent could be quite divisive. Perhaps it would have been better if they hadn't added any fragrance at all.

  Here's my review after using the product for about 2 weeks: Hydration: The moisture level is just right, and it absorbs well, effectively addressing deep dryness. It seems to provide long-lasting hydration, which I really liked. Plus, it's not sticky at all, so you can apply it any time, morning or evening! Scent: It has a fresh cucumber-like fragrance. After always using unscented creams, it's nice to have a cream with a subtle scent when applied to the face! Application: It spreads incredibly well! It glides on smoothly, making it easy to use consistently without any hassle. Quantity: The tube packaging allows for precise control of the amount used, which is convenient and neat. It's so much better than jar-packaged creams - quicker and easier to use! I used it consistently for 2 weeks, even taking it with me on a trip. I never felt a lack of hydration, experienced no blemishes, and although I usually have some deep dryness, I didn't experience any while using this product!

  I couldn't find any downsides during this short-term use.

  Tip

  After applying this cream, I also use the Tocovo Bio Watery Suncream from the same brand, and they work incredibly well together - no greasiness at all, just a perfectly clean finish!

  I have combination skin prone to blemishes, sensitivity, and hormonal breakouts. Cica and centella lines usually work well for me. I was previously using the One Thing Centella Cream, so I had high hopes for the Tocobo Cica Calming Gel Cream since it also contains centella and madecassoside! The texture is smooth and applies easily, making it comfortable to use. It has a subtle, refreshing scent. After using it for about a week in my evening routine, I noticed that it kept my skin hydrated longer than my previous product. It didn't cause any breakouts and seemed to agree with my skin. It's not too rich, making it great for summer use. For fall and winter, applying two layers should work well! I'd recommend the One Thing Centella Soothing Cream for those with oily skin as it's light and fresh. The Tocobo Cica Calming Gel Cream is more hydrating with a slightly thicker consistency, so I'd suggest it for combination to dry skin types.

  Cons

  The only downside is the price. At 21,000 won for 75ml on Hwahae, it's not the most budget-friendly option. Since skincare products are used daily, I wish it came in a larger 100ml size for better value!

  Tip

  Apply it gently with your fingertips, patting lightly to help absorption. It should provide just the right amount of hydration used alone in summer or layered twice in winter. A simple routine of toner and this cream should suffice, and for any skin texture issues, consider using a spot treatment.

In summer, overly heavy creams can feel like they're clogging your pores. When applied to the face, there's a slight cooling effect that seems to soothe skin irritated by sun exposure. During my menstrual cycle, when my face feels hot, I apply it generously like a sheet mask. I had a few blemishes on my face, but after consistently applying the Toboco moisturizer, the small, red bumps quickly subsided. It's a low-irritation soothing cream that has passed skin irritation tests, so even those with sensitive skin can use it with confidence. I highly recommend this summer soothing cream for those with sensitive and delicate skin.
