The body lotion is moisturizing, but I really dislike the slippery feeling. This serum type doesn't have that slippery feeling, which I liked. It also absorbs quickly, and a single pump dispenses a generous amount, enough to cover an entire arm. The large overall volume is also an advantage, allowing me to use it generously without worry. Now that it's almost summer, I've been using the serum more since I don't apply body lotion as often.

I think it's better to apply this when your skin still has a bit of moisture, rather than completely drying off after showering. Don't pat your skin completely dry with a towel, leave a bit of dampness for the best results.

I think this would be great to use in the summer, as the finish is refreshing! But it might be a bit drying in the winter. I had a hard time finding a good body product for the summer because it's so hot and humid, but I think this would be a great option for summer use!

The feel is like a mix between a serum and an oil? When you apply it, it's slippery, but once you rub it in, the slipperiness disappears and it's completely absorbed. Usually with body products, when you apply lotions, creams, or oils, it feels damp and sticky even after application. But this product doesn't leave that kind of sticky feeling. It just gets fully absorbed into the skin without any dampness!

First, let me tell you that the scar in the photo was not caused by this product!
Skin type: My whole body is dry.
Reason for applying the product:
After I started shaving the hair on my arms, I started getting these sebum-filled bumps that would pop when squeezed. Scrubbing would help a bit, but I'd have to moisturize after, and then the issue would flare up again. Not scrubbing didn't help either... No matter what lotion I used, the bumps kept coming, and they'd leave scars like in the photo when popped.
I had been searching for a body essence, but I heard Skinfood's was too oily, so I was hesitant to try it. Then I won this product in an event!
To conclude! It's so comfortable to use all over my body even in the summer, and while the bumps don't completely go away, it's much better than lotion and I can apply a lot without issues. As you can see in the photo, the marks are fading a lot now, and the sebum isn't as visible. Stopping the lotion and finding another moisturizing alternative has really helped reduce my breakouts, and the medicated ointment I've been using is finally starting to work.
