If your skin lacks moisture, a lot of milia will appear. However, when you apply a cream, your skin becomes flipped over, so by applying this product in multiple layers, the moisture deficiency can be filled. Dry skin is not recommended. The texture is firm yet moisturizing, and it absorbs well into the skin. It's perfect for someone like me who dislikes sticky products. The absorption is quite good. This product is ideal for my dry skin type. While it absorbs well, the hydration seems to disappear quickly. It's suitable for dry and sensitive skin types. It's quite hydrating. I've been using Zeroid Emulsion prescribed by my dermatologist for dermatitis, but it seemed to be less effective over time. So I tried this and Sidmool Green Tea Skin instead. It's gentle and works well. The packaging is a cylindrical tube without a separate spatula, and it's made in Japan, so I'll have to think carefully about repurchasing. If it feels too light, I layer it with an oil or emulsion. This product is absolutely fantastic. It's perfect for atopic and dry skin types. It doesn't cause any blemishes at all, there's no stickiness, and it's incredibly hydrating and gentle. When I apply it generously before bed, my makeup goes on smoothly the next morning. The amount you get is really generous, so I'm able to apply it liberally. The texture isn't heavy at all, making it so pleasant to apply! I honestly can't understand why there aren't more reviews... Just trust me and give it a try. There's nothing I can really fault about this product. I'm 1000000% going to repurchase. For hydration, I haven't found anything better than this, which is why I've been using the same product for years now. It immediately corrects deep dryness, provides long-lasting moisture, and doesn't irritate my skin at all. It's not widely available, and the fact that it's a Japanese product is slightly concerning... I have extremely dry skin, but in summer, if I apply this and finish with an oil, I don't feel dry all day. No deep dryness felt. No heavy or suffocating sensation. While it doesn't cause deep dryness, it doesn't particularly improve skin texture either. I'm not sure if it's just not suitable for me, but even though my skin isn't dry, it feels parched. Such a strange phenomenon... And now, blemishes have appeared. They've even shown up on my cheeks where I rarely get them, so it's definitely this product. I only used what was left on the lid, and it didn't agree with my skin. The texture itself is delightfully fluffy, just the type I love. It felt moisturizing and the overall experience was pleasant. Blemishes and folliculitis, oh no! I thought, 'Surely it couldn't be from this?' So I applied it like a sleeping mask for one more night, but my skin completely flared up. It hasn't calmed down yet, and it's actually getting worse, so I'm seeing a dermatologist now... Great for oily skin types! I bought this on sale to use liberally. As someone with extremely oily skin, I never dared to use moisturizers before, but this product was my gateway into hydrating creams. I've tried about three other moisturizers since, but I always end up coming back to the Hatomugi gel. While other moisturizers seemed too heavy for my skin and caused blemishes, this one causes the least issues. The quantity is generous, so I sometimes use it as a body emollient when I want quick absorption before bed. Pros: Great value for money. The amount is huge - even more than you'd expect! Very gentle. Less rich feeling. Really good for everyday, no-fuss use. It smells like slime... haha! When I first opened it, I was a bit like... huh? While I like the quantity and texture, the scent is a bit... well... I'm used to it now and don't really think about it, but at first, it was a bit of a hurdle to get over.
