My usually calm skin suddenly flared up with allergies, so I stopped using all my functional skincare products and switched to gentle ones only.
I had stocked up on the Dermafactory Barrier Cream earlier this year and started using it after my skin freaked out. It's definitely gentle.
While other products can cause tingling sensations right from the toner stage if used incorrectly, thankfully this one doesn't cause such reactions.
However, even though it's summer, I feel a slight dryness on my cheeks, so I apply an additional layer of a richer cream.
I think those with oily skin will be satisfied with this!
For me, it might be too dry for autumn and winter use, so I'll probably only use it in summer.

As for whether it strengthens the skin barrier as its name suggests, I can't really tell since my skin is in such a sensitive state right now.
But I'm just grateful that it doesn't cause any tingling or itching when applied.
I hope they come out with a more hydrating version that can be used during the drier seasons too.

I recommend purchasing this product at the beginning of the month when there are often more discounts available.

Sigh... I really regret using this. I applied it before bed to help my skin barrier, but the next day was an absolute disaster. I had atopic dermatitis on my right arm, which wasn't too severe lately due to good care. However, after using this, white pus-filled bumps appeared under the skin in that area. I've never had such a reaction to a product with good ingredients before, and I'm at a loss for what to do. I quickly applied some anti-inflammatory medication and ointment. Now my face is itchy, as well as under my neck and my left arm. I've never had such a bad reaction even when products didn't suit me well. I'm really upset... I'd like to attach photos, but it's too gross to show. I bought it on Coupang, so I'll just upload the product photo. (Also, my eyes stung so much after applying this. I thought I was just tired, but after reading other reviews, it seems I'm not the only one. This product really hurts your eyes.)

The ingredients are good, but honestly, my atopic dermatitis has flared up so badly that I'm at a loss for words.

Test for eye sensitivity before applying to your entire face. It works well mixed with body emulsion and hand cream.
