  Pros

  I love that it uses birch water instead of purified water! It's deeply moisturizing without feeling greasy, which makes it perfect to use before makeup. While other ceramide or cica creams make my face feel heavy, itchy, and oily, this one doesn't - so I apply it happily. I couldn't use some famous creams from other brands, but this one works great for me.

  Cons

  For those with dry skin, it might not be enough in winter, but it's versatile enough to use from spring through early winter.

  I'm using this because my skin barrier was compromised. I've heard that applying a generous amount of a suitable moisturizer before bed helps with skin recovery, so I've been slathering it on. I love that it feels cool and not suffocating. The price point is also reasonable. Usually, creams come in 50ml or 80ml sizes, but this one is 150g, so I don't feel guilty about using it liberally. I'll probably repurchase it for use throughout the winter. I've heard of the Dermafactory brand often, but this was my first purchase during their regular monthly sale. I was drawn to the reasonable price and skin-friendly ingredients. I particularly like that it contains 5% SLLS™, which is liposomized in a 4:3:3 ratio of ceramides, cholesterol, and free fatty acids similar to skin lipids, great for barrier care. I actually bought this as a hand cream for my mom, not for my face. However, she didn't like it... The texture feels like a combination of an emulsion and a moisturizer. I tried it on my combination dehydrated/oily skin, and I love how it feels moisturizing and makes my skin soft without being sticky. It leaves a fresh feeling. Plus, it's free from artificial fragrances, which is right up my alley.

  Cons

  For those with very dry skin, I'd recommend thoroughly hydrating first and then applying 2-3 layers of this cream for best results.
