For a matte cushion, it absorbs well and feels quite hydrating, which was a pleasant surprise. As time passes, it adheres to the skin and becomes more matte. On my combination skin, it felt somewhere between a glow and semi-matte finish. I'd recommend this even for those with dry skin as it shouldn't feel too heavy.
ConsThere was some pilling when applying, and when it broke down, it did so in an unflattering way. Touch-ups did bring it back to its original state, though.

It does an excellent job of neutralizing redness. When applying, despite being matte, it feels moisturizing and cool on the skin. After a short while, it seems to transition into a more matte finish. It might even have a calming effect? That's probably why even someone with dry skin like me could use it comfortably.
ConsSince I have an oily nose area, it broke down over all my pores there. There was also a bit of caking around the nose. I noticed some slight darkening too - not severe, but about half a shade maybe? Unless you really work it into the pores, it tends to break down easily.

It can cover a yellowish complexion. It's possible to achieve a matte finish (though this wasn't an advantage for me since my cheeks tend to be dry...).
ConsAt first, I thought the color payoff was decent. My complexion tends to be a bit yellowish, but this seemed to help tone it down! I have combination skin, so my cheeks felt a bit matte, but not to a bothersome degree. The coverage was just... okay? Since I work in a job that requires wearing a mask, I was most worried about transfer. Sure enough... when I took off my mask after work, my skin looked yellowish again. Because I'm running around and sweating at work, the longevity doesn't seem great either. While it doesn't break down in an unsightly way, I wouldn't say it fades gracefully either. It's good for quick outings, but I find myself not reaching for it when I'm going out for longer periods without a chance to touch up. In the hand swatch photo, the left side is bare skin and the right side has the product applied. It seems to cover the yellow undertones to some extent. (To be honest, I think it might feel tight on dry skin, and on oily skin, it might break down and separate later in the day...)
TipIf you have large pores on your cheeks, an oily T-zone due to combination skin, and frequently wear a mask? Then honestly, I wouldn't recommend this.
