It calms my skin while giving it this incredible egg-shell smooth appearance. The coverage is flawless without caking, and the adherence is out of this world. It applies so thinly, which is exactly the look I'm going for. No darkening throughout the day, and remarkably, zero nose pore clogging - it's legendary! I'm head over heels for Fanel. Though I don't have large pores, I can see this working wonders for those who do. It strikes the perfect balance of being moisturizing yet matte, which is crucial because overly matte finishes can make skin look unhealthy. The soothing effect is a bonus - it seems to actually improve my blemishes when I use it. It's so gentle on my skin, I absolutely adore it. You must try it! The shade range is fantastic too. If you have a fair complexion, go for shade 19.
ConsThe puff that comes with it is really subpar. I'd recommend buying a separate puff to apply this cushion.
TipIf you have very oily skin, you'll likely need to set this with powder. Nevertheless, it's such a versatile and excellent cushion that I highly recommend it!

ConsI guess it's because I have oily skin, but even with powder, the foundation around my nose and mouth breaks down due to excess oil. It gets shiny, and I'm not sure about its staying power.

The adherence is excellent, and it applies thinly and lightly.
ConsDue to its thin application, the coverage was slightly disappointing. Those who prefer cushions that are lighter than their natural complexion might find this a bit underwhelming.
TipIf you have dry skin, it would be highly beneficial to thoroughly prepare your skin with a proper skincare routine before applying this product.

For a matte cushion, it absorbs well and feels quite hydrating, which was a pleasant surprise. As time passes, it adheres to the skin and becomes more matte. On my combination skin, it felt somewhere between a glow and semi-matte finish. I'd recommend this even for those with dry skin as it shouldn't feel too heavy.
ConsThere was some pilling when applying, and when it broke down, it did so in an unflattering way. Touch-ups did bring it back to its original state, though.

It applies moistly and then sets to a matte finish, which I love! I have oily skin, so I use powder, and I feel like it doesn't break down at all.
ConsHonestly, I like this cushion so much that it's the only one I use! If I had to pick something, I wish there were more shade options. Even though I have fair skin, it still feels like it brightens my complexion by about half a shade.

MMD Rose Liquid Mask 2. Atobarrier Hydro Essence 3. DLBBL Clear Hyaluronic Glow Cream 4. BNL Primer 5. Fanel Serum In Matte Cushion shade 19 6. DS Liquid Concealer Green Beige/Brightener (for scars/smile lines) 7. DS Pot Concealer 01 Correct Beige (for dark circles/redness around nose) 8. CL Fixer 9. MKPB Pressed Powder 10. ABA Blur Powder Pact 1.5 Cool Fair 11. CL Fixer Followed by color makeup
ConsWhile I'm satisfied with this cushion overall, its coverage is lacking, making a concealer absolutely necessary
TipThe darkening issue that's often mentioned with Fanel cushions didn't affect me, though experiences may vary. This might be due to my diligent exfoliation routine.

As someone with sensitive, oily skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes. I'd definitely recommend this for those with sensitive and oily skin types.
ConsIf you don't have oily skin, it might emphasize dead skin cells quite a bit. Also, the puff seems to be of lower quality.
TipI found the coverage to be decent when I layered concealer over the cushion!

I usually wear shade 21. Here are 4 things I loved about it: 1. It goes on light 2. Adheres perfectly to the skin 3. Pleasant tea tree scent 4. Good coverage for how well it adheres Typically, good coverage means a thick layer, but this goes on thin from the start. You'll need to pay attention to areas needing more coverage. However, I liked how it made my skin look clear. Not sure if it's tea tree, but there's a lovely herbal scent. I'm prone to blemishes, but I've never broken out from wearing this makeup. I have large pores, but I'm satisfied with how this performs. If you liked the Vanil0co cushion, you'll probably enjoy this one too.
ConsFirst things first, you absolutely must ditch the included puff and switch to a puff with better adherence like Pil0ry or Est0e. The puff makes a dry, scratchy sound... It doesn't absorb product well, and the default puff is really subpar... It needs improvement. Using the original puff made my makeup look like it was sitting on top of dead skin cells, which wasn't great.
TipMake sure to throw away the puff!!!

The coverage is pretty decent too.
ConsThe area containing the cushion product is a bit too small, which makes it somewhat inconvenient to use.

It adheres well to the skin without feeling heavy, and even when I apply a second layer for extra coverage, it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all. While I don't have particularly large pores, it covers them perfectly. Compared to thinner cushions, the coverage is quite good. There's so much to praise about this cushion! The color is a clear ivory, perfectly matching shade 19. It creates a clean, bright complexion that lasts for hours. My skin is usually quite sensitive and tends to get slightly red after removing makeup, but with this cushion, there's no redness at all, which is fantastic. Even on areas prone to flaking like the chin or around the lips, where other cushions might emphasize dead skin cells, this one performs noticeably better! It seems like a cushion that would suit everyone. I'll add photos later. As someone with cool winter + olive undertones, I think this shade would work well for cool, warm, and olive skin tones alike. For reference, the photos were taken on a day when my skin was drier than usual.
ConsThere's a bit of darkening, but it's not noticeable enough to require touch-ups. After some time, oil does come through in the T-zone, but gently pressing with a dry tissue removes the excess oil without disturbing the makeup, keeping everything looking fresh! However, when wearing a mask or sweating, it can bunch up and look messy. It's probably best suited for use in all seasons except the height of summer. If you use it after exfoliating, it won't break down as much - keep that in mind! Not recommended for those with dry skin who get dehydrated in summer, or for oily and combination skin types leaning towards oily.
TipI've always preferred luxury brand cushions because they offer a wide range of shades and brightness levels, and most apply thinly for a natural, sophisticated look. Most drugstore cushions focus on coverage and apply thickly! Even when I liked them and bought them, I often ended up not using them or stopping halfway. The colors were either too yellow, orange, pink, too light or dark, with no middle ground! But lately, more thinly-applying cushions are coming out. I bought four cushions this month alone, but this is the only one I'm using consistently. However, I really don't recommend the previously released Fanel Cica Manu Serum Cushion. It applies thickly and feels sticky and uncomfortable on the skin. Cushions I've used up from the drugstore: Jung Saem Mool Essential Skin Nuder Wakemake Water Glow Coating
