It's fragrance-free with just a hint of that typical sunscreen scent, so it shouldn't bother most people. For a mineral sunscreen, it doesn't leave much of a white cast and absorbs quickly with a bit of patting. I was worried about using it on my 23-month-old daughter since other brands caused little bumps on her skin. But even after a few days of use (and some nights when my husband didn't wash her face properly after bath time), her skin stayed clear. It's been great for her sensitive skin!
ConsWhile the texture and lack of blemishes are fantastic, I'm a bit disappointed with some of the ingredients.
TipWhen you're out and about, it can be unhygienic to reapply with your hands. I found that putting some in a container from Daiso and applying it with a puff works really well!

Even my 9-year-old can apply it independently! Texture: Containing ceramide, collagen, and glycerin, this sun cream not only protects your child's skin barrier but also provides ample hydration! It's not sticky, leaves no white cast, and applies smoothly - I absolutely love it! Longevity: Although we apply sun cream generously every morning, it's recommended to reapply every 2-3 hours. So I make sure to quickly reapply before heading to after-school activities. Being a mineral sunscreen, it provides immediate sun protection after application, which is very reassuring!
ConsDrawbacks: Can't be removed with water alone? Well, that's pretty standard these days!
TipPro tip: Due to its smooth formula, applying it with gentle taps using a cushion puff ensures even application.

They even insisted on applying it themselves, patting it onto their face. How cute! 1. The best part was how well it absorbs. I thought it might be thick and hard to spread since it's a mineral sunscreen, but it applied smoothly like a regular emulsion. I did have to pat it in at the end to absorb the white cast, but it sank in quickly. 2. I loved the soft, powdery finish. Babies sweat a lot, so sticky products can be uncomfortable, but this wasn't an issue at all. 3. It's reassuring that it has good ingredients without any harmful substances. This is especially important for baby products. 4. The container is well-designed for easy dispensing and portability, making it convenient for outings. I'd definitely repurchase this!
ConsI didn't have any major complaints. Like with all baby sunscreens, I always worry about how to cleanse it off properly... It would be great if it came as a set with a cleanser. I'd love a baby-safe cleansing water that's gentle on the eyes and mouth but still effective at removing sunscreen. (Foam cleansers are tricky to use on a baby's face)
TipIt's recommended to reapply sunscreen on babies too. I give a light extra layer before going out during peak sun hours.

Previously, I used a tube-type mineral sunscreen that was quite stiff and left a severe white cast, making it challenging to apply on my children. However, this product is hydrating, making it easy to apply on kids. Plus, it's not oily or sticky, which is great. Right after application, I noticed a white cast and thought it might be an issue. But as it absorbed, the whiteness quickly disappeared! I tried it on myself along with my child, and you couldn't even tell I was wearing sunscreen. I love that it doesn't sting the eyes! Children often complain about sunscreen irritating their eyes. But with this product, my kids don't mention any eye discomfort. I also applied it around my eyes and didn't experience any stinging or irritation. I appreciate that it's fragrance-free!
ConsThe downside is the price... It's quite expensive for the amount you get.

It's not quite as fluid as an ampoule, but it spreads just right, allowing you to easily keep track of where you've applied it. I applied it on my 6-year-old before kindergarten, and they didn't flinch at all, even when I slathered it on generously. The best part was the glow it gave - it made their face shine beautifully. Despite this, it didn't feel sticky or uncomfortable at all. It's the kind of sunscreen that lifts your mood as you apply it. It's hard to find gentle sunscreens with high SPF these days, but Round Lab covers the drawback of not being able to reapply during kindergarten hours. It seems perfect for when kids are heading off to school. My child easily gets hives, but thanks to the good ingredients, there was absolutely no irritation even on sensitive skin, which was great.
ConsI can't think of any downsides. I'd definitely repurchase when I run out.
TipInstead of applying a thick layer at once, it seems to work best when you apply thin layers and build up coverage. This method helps prevent white cast while still providing effective sun protection.

At first, it looks a bit white like a cast, but after massaging it in a few times, that disappears. It has a gentle application and absorbs well, feeling like an emulsion - mild and moisturizing. It adheres nicely to the skin and finishes with a fresh feel, without any stickiness. I'm very satisfied that it's not one of those sunscreens that's thick and difficult to apply, requiring multiple rubs to remove the white cast. It's great that you can apply it lightly like an emulsion. Though it's unscented, it's not unpleasant.
ConsI wonder if it would have been better as a non-sticky sunstick. For those who dislike getting product on their hands.
TipDuring times of intense sunlight like now, apply it frequently at 2-3 hour intervals.

While it's technically for all seasons, we're especially mindful of outdoor exposure, water activities, and other situations that require extra care. I was thrilled to get my hands on this great product to try out! Usually, before makeup, I avoid applying sunscreen with my fingers. Instead, I use a spatula for a thin layer or a sponge. But I was curious about the texture, so I tried it on my hand. To my surprise, it felt like an emulsion - as smooth as whipped cream, yet not thick or hard to spread. The absorbs well was so impressive, I couldn't help but say 'Wow!' to myself. Despite being a mineral sunscreen, there was hardly any white cast, which I had expected. It leaves only a slight whitening effect, about half as noticeable as typical brightening moisturizers, and even that isn't very apparent. I loved that! Even though it's a kids' product, it pairs well with makeup, which was really satisfying. It's a mineral sunscreen with the absorbs well of a premium chemical one! I'll definitely repurchase. Even the kids applied it without complaint - they usually dislike thick creams, but this one went on smoothly.
ConsPlease, I beg you, release a pump version! With tubes, when you're almost done, you have to cut them open with scissors to get the last bit out. It feels a bit unhygienic, especially for sunscreen.
TipFor best results, store it in a cool place. After toner, apply a pore-tightening serum, then use a spatula to apply this sunscreen. Follow with a thin layer of cushion foundation for combination skin. This routine helps keep oil at bay and prevents darkening for as long as possible!

Application It spreads easily like an emulsion, so both my kids applied it without any fuss. I tried it too. Unlike many mineral sunscreens with zinc oxide as the main ingredient, which often leave skin either extremely dry or overly greasy, this one strikes a nice balance. It's quite moisturizing, perfect for children. As for me, with my skin that gets oily in summer, some shine did appear over time, but I didn't experience any blemishes! My older child, who's in elementary school, usually gets small bumps whenever we use sunscreen, but this one didn't cause any! 2. Scent It has that typical zinc oxide smell, but it's not overpowering, so it wasn't bothersome. 3. Overall impression I'm entrusting our skin protection to this sunscreen this summer! If it can effectively shield my elementary and preschool kids during their summer break full of water activities and outdoor fun, I'll definitely purchase it with my own money!
ConsGiven its rich texture, active kids who sweat a lot might need frequent reapplication during outdoor activities. That could mean using up the product quickly, which might be a concern considering its price. Also, I'm not entirely sure about its water-resistance - whether it washes off easily or stays put in water.
TipFor cleansing, I use a large cotton pad soaked in Bio*ma cleansing water to gently wipe my kids' faces, followed by a face wash. For younger children, you might want to use a milder, child-specific cleansing water. Keep in mind that mineral sunscreens don't come off easily with just foam cleansers - that's worth noting!

Despite my baby's sensitive skin, there weren't any major blemishes, possibly thanks to the panthenol ingredient. For water activities, I realized a waterproof product is necessary, so a separate mineral sunscreen is also needed. Even though it's a mineral sunscreen, it spreads evenly without feeling thick, and there's minimal white cast. It's slightly oily, so there's no dryness at all. As someone with dry skin, I appreciated that it wasn't drying, but those with oily skin might find it a bit heavy.
ConsWhile I intended to use this on my baby, cleansing it off was quite challenging. It requires double cleansing - first with cleansing water, then with soap. Its resistance to sweat and water is a plus, but it makes the cleansing process quite difficult, which is a downside.
TipI recommend using a baby-specific cleansing water for removal.

Many products claim to be non-greasy, but while they might feel that way right after application, the oiliness often starts to creep up after a short while. That's why I always make sure to check plenty of reviews. I decided to try this one after The Hwahae Testers mentioned its matte finish, and I'm really pleased with the results. It absorbs well and doesn't feel greasy at all. The texture isn't too thick or dry either, so I feel comfortable using it on my child's skin. Many kids' sunscreens have low UV protection, but this one offers high protection while still maintaining that non-sticky feel, which I'm really happy about. My child usually dislikes the typical unscented smell of kids' products, but they say this one, although fragrance-free, isn't unpleasant. I think we'll be using this regularly.
ConsMy child is now in elementary school and can wash their face with soap, so removing the sunscreen isn't an issue for us. However, for younger children who can't use soap on their face yet, it might be a bit challenging to use this on their face.
TipI haven't experienced any inconveniences while using this product, so I don't have any specific tips to share.
