I wanted to use it for a while to write a proper review, but Hwahae kept nudging me... So I'm finally writing this just before the deadline. I was already using Papa Recipe's powder cleanser, so I compared this product with that one. Cleansing effectiveness: While Papa Recipe's product doesn't dissolve well in water if you're not careful, leaving powder residue and making it inconvenient to use and less effective for cleansing, this product dissolves well in water and has good cleansing power for a powder cleanser! Skin texture improvement: Unlike other products, I could definitely feel the skin texture improvement right after use! My skin felt soft and hydrated. I was surprised to see such improvement right after cleansing, especially since my skin had been dry, oily, and rough from studying all day. It's just as good as the product I was using before, so from now on, I'll compare prices and buy whichever is cheaper! +Oh my, the price is much lower now if you buy it through Hwahae delivery! I'll definitely grab it when there's a deal like this in the future.
ConsThe container opening! It's hard to control the amount that comes out. The Papa Recipe one has an opening like a salt shaker, so you could use just the right amount, but this one has a large opening, so a lot of powder comes out at once. It doesn't have to be exactly like a salt shaker, but if the opening was just a bit smaller, it would be better! 📌 I'm From staff, is there any way to fix this..? Also, the scent is a bit artificial and sweet..? I think they were going for a fig scent, but of course, it's different from the real fruit scent! I strongly prefer unscented products, so I was worried about the fragrance, but interestingly, while it has a scent in powder form, it's barely noticeable when mixed with water, so it wasn't a problem when using.
TipIf you want to improve your skin texture, I think it would work well in synergy with Skinfood's Carrot Pads!

I've been a huge fan of enzyme cleansers and have used various products for a long time, so I can provide a thorough review of this one. Don't worry if the particles look rough! When you mix it with a bit of water and lather it in your hands, it dissolves instantly, creating rich foam. You don't need to be concerned about rough particles irritating your skin. After using it for several weeks, I experienced no irritation. Rich and creamy foam Powder cleansers usually don't produce abundant foam, but this one creates lather much more easily than other products. With other cleansers, I sometimes felt disappointed by the lack of foam when lathering by hand. This product produces plentiful foam for a powder cleanser with just a few rubs in your hand, and the foam has a slightly creamy texture! It feels like whipped cream, making it pleasant to use. Subtle fragrance and gentle ingredients The ingredients are excellent. It has a subtle floral and fruity scent that lifts my mood every time I use it. Recommended for dry skin, sensitive skin, and skin with excess dead skin cells It's great for dry skin types. You can cleanse relatively moisturized. People with sensitive skin often struggle with physical exfoliation products. Enzyme powder cleansers allow for gentle dead skin cell removal, so I recommend this for those individuals. Moderate cleansing effectiveness As it's not a product with extremely high cleansing power, use it for second cleansing or light cleansing. Enzyme cleansers aren't designed for intense cleansing, so keep this in mind.
ConsArtificial fragrance While the pleasant, subtle scent is nice, it's a bit disappointing that it's created with artificial fragrances. Please note that fragrances can be problematic for extremely sensitive skin.
TipRecommended use: twice a week Although it's gentle, it's still an exfoliating cleanser, so rather than using it daily, it's best to use it about twice a week! Also, you can make it even gentler by increasing the water ratio when creating the foam!

My skin type used to be combination, but lately it's become closer to dry. I've tried various powder-type cleansers, but this brand's particles seem to be the finest. If you've experienced irritation from granules before, you'll likely appreciate the texture of this one. The foam doesn't lather as much as expected, so you might need to use a bit more powder to get a satisfactory amount of foam. I found the quantity aspect slightly disappointing. After cleansing with this product, I liked how it refined my skin texture and left it feeling smooth, but I did notice a slight deep dryness. I think this might be due to my dry skin, so you may want to adjust the frequency of use based on your skin type.
ConsI wish it were fragrance-free, but it has an artificial scent which I didn't particularly like.
TipFor those with dry skin, it might be better to use this every other day or every third day, rather than daily, to allow sufficient time between uses.

No gritty feeling despite being a powder type The product description mentions it's suitable for sensitive skin. The powder is very fine and soft, and it lathers up nicely when mixed with water and applied to the skin. Achieve velvety smooth skin Although it's a powder, once applied to the skin, it feels almost identical to a regular cleanser, which made me skeptical at first. But after cleansing with this, my skin becomes incredibly soft!!! It's amazing - I can't stop touching my face after using it! It seems to exfoliate well too. I tend to have a lot of sebum on my nose, but this cleanser removes it all without leaving any bumpy texture! Overall gentle, less tightness and dryness after cleansing After washing, my skin doesn't feel tight or dry. With continued use, I've found it to be a gentle product. If you have sensitive skin but want to try an enzyme cleanser, give this product a try!
ConsThe bottle opening could be improved for better powder control. The opening looks small, but even a slight tilt causes the powder to pour out excessively. There's one potentially irritating ingredient - fragrance. I wonder if they could have made it fragrance-free. The scent reminds me of old-fashioned cosmetics... which I personally dislike.
TipFor best results, start with a small amount of water and massage for a few seconds, then work up a lather for a more thorough cleanse.

Last year, I went through three bottles of a powder cleanser from another brand, so I had high expectations for this one. I'm pleased to say it's even better than what I used before. For a powder cleanser, the particles are remarkably fine and gentle. As someone with super sensitive skin that turns red at the slightest irritation during cleansing, I appreciate how this cleanser doesn't have that typical gritty feeling. It allows for a cleanse without irritation. I'm also thrilled that it's slightly acidic! The powder dissolves well in water and lathers nicely when rubbed between the hands. After cleansing, my skin feels soft, and thanks to its low pH, there's no feeling of deep dryness. I highly recommend this, especially for those with dry, sensitive skin.
ConsThe scent seems a bit strong. It doesn't smell like figs to me, but rather has an intense artificial fragrance that I find somewhat off-putting.
TipI'd suggest using this as a second cleanse once or twice a week for best results.

However, I do occasionally use powder cleansers. You might think, 'How can someone with sensitive skin use a powder cleanser?' Well, it's because removing dead skin cells and excess oil is particularly challenging for sensitive skin types. One wrong move and you're dealing with redness, breakouts, or other skin issues. That's why I use powder cleansers for exfoliation - it's my personal tip! While some powder cleansers might feel abrasive even for those with resilient skin, there are gentler options available. The feel of powder cleansers can vary significantly between brands, so I like to experiment. I tried the I'm From powder cleanser for the first time, and when I applied it to my face after mixing with water, I was pleasantly surprised. There was no gritty texture or irritation at all. I usually use a foam net with powder cleansers, but to test its gentleness, I used it with just my hands - and it was incredibly soft! After rinsing, my face didn't feel tight or look red at all. The cleansing power isn't strong enough to remove makeup, but it's perfect for morning cleansing. I highly recommend it for your AM routine! (It's so gentle, making it ideal for that soft morning cleanse, while still effectively removing overnight impurities) I focused on my T-zone for oil control and exfoliation. While I didn't see dramatic results immediately, that's normal with powder cleansers - you need to use them consistently over time for best results. I plan to use it regularly for about three months to see the full effects. I'll be sticking with this product for a while!
ConsThe fragrance was a bit disappointing. There's a noticeable artificial fig scent. While it doesn't really matter for a cleansing product whether it has fragrance or not... I can't help but think it might have been better without it. They could consider reducing the fragrance intensity.
TipFor an even gentler cleanse, I recommend using a foam net. Wet the net, sprinkle a small amount of powder cleanser on it, and work it into a lather for an ultra-soft cleansing experience! This method is great for those who find powder cleansers too gritty. Whether you're using a product with noticeable particles or one that feels completely smooth, using a foam net can lead to a more satisfying and gentle cleanse!

After cleansing, skin feels smooth and hydrated without any tightness. It definitely helps with dead skin cell management! The lightweight packaging makes it convenient to carry around.
ConsThe artificial fig fragrance is overpowering... If you're looking for that squeaky clean, fresh feeling, this mildly acidic cleanser might not be for you. As someone with oily skin, I found the sebum removal to be somewhat lacking. It barely lathers considering the amount used, so it doesn't give a satisfying cleansing sensation.
TipRecommended for dry skin types looking to manage dead skin cells!

Cons- The scent might be perceived as artificial - Slightly more intense exfoliation and sensation compared to other well-known brand powder cleansers
TipAbsolutely make sure to dissolve all the powder before use! It dissolves well in slightly warm water. Apply the foam all over your face, then gently massage in circular motions following the skin's texture, then against it while looking in the mirror. Rinse thoroughly multiple times with water.

When used after a cleansing milk, it effectively removes makeup and significantly reduces sebum and dead skin cells. As shown in the photo below, even with a lot of flaking and visible sebum, after use, the dead skin cells disappeared and the raised sebum was washed away. Skin Texture Improvement After using this product three times over a week, my skin texture has noticeably improved. It feels incredibly soft now. Recommended Skin Types I highly recommend this for: - Those who, like me, frequently accumulate a lot of dead skin cells and need daily exfoliation - People struggling with persistent white sebum that won't go away - Individuals with oily skin looking to control excess oil while exfoliating If you fall into any of these categories, I strongly suggest giving this a try!
ConsThe fragrance is a bit of a downside. I'm not sure if it's a natural scent from the ingredients or an artificial one, but those sensitive to fragrances might find it off-putting.
TipIn my opinion, this product works best when used in combination with a gommage-type exfoliator rather than on its own. This product effectively removes fine dead skin cells and washes away sebum, while the gommage-type is great for removing larger flakes of dead skin on the surface. Using both together could create a powerful synergy for your skincare routine!

There's surprisingly little skin tightness after use. It's especially great before makeup, as it smooths out dead skin cells, helping your makeup apply better. The fine particles also mean minimal skin irritation.
ConsThe fragrance is quite strong. It's an artificial fig scent that might be hit-or-miss for those sensitive to smells. Compared to Papa Recipe's powder cleanser, it doesn't lather as well, so the cleansing effectiveness seems lower. Personally, I'd recommend using this more as a morning cleanser rather than for double cleansing.
TipLike other powder cleansers, I recommend wetting your hands slightly, rubbing the powder thoroughly between your palms, and then applying it to your face.
