The brightening moisturizer evens skin tone nicely without being overwhelming.
ConsFor me, even with powder, I noticed my skin getting oily after an hour or two! I suppose it's unavoidable since it's a type of sunscreen.

I think shades 20 and below would be a perfect match.
ConsFor those with oily T-zones, it seems to produce a bit of excess oil. After 3-4 hours, it starts to look a bit shiny.

They have a slightly slippery application, but when my skin gets dry in winter, this keeps my face wonderfully hydrated. That's why I don't recommend it for those with oily skin. However, I highly recommend it for those with dry skin. Recently, due to the cold wind, my face has become sensitive, and I've experienced redness when applying sunscreen. Fortunately, this product suits me well, and I didn't have any of those issues! It's also fragrance-free, so it's a versatile product that's easy to apply. While it claims to naturally brighten the complexion, I didn't notice much change, possibly because I'm already a light skin tone. It does even out the skin tone though. Overall, I'm satisfied!
ConsThere's nothing particularly bad to mention! Well... maybe it's a bit rich? It might be too rich for those with oily skin... that's about it.

Adherence: On my skin, the adherence was excellent. Rather than rubbing it in, I applied it by gently patting it on after cleansing with toner, and the adherence was even better than the famous foundation-skipping product known for its amazing adherence. It's just so easy to apply! Complexion: For those with skin tones above #20, true to its 'bare face cream' name, it doesn't give an obvious tone-up effect. Instead, it naturally covers and adds a subtle half-tone of vitality, resulting in a natural look. SPF: The SPF 50++++ is a great feature. When I apply it generously before going out for exercise, it evens out my skin tone to some extent and provides sun protection, which is fantastic. Blemishes: Oh, and even for sensitive, blemish-prone skin like mine, it doesn't cause any breakouts! Even when I was too lazy to remove it before bed, I didn't get a single blemish... This cream seems like a great choice for those of us who are super sensitive to blemishes.
ConsWell... let me describe my skin first: I have combination dehydrated skin. Yes, it's oily but lacks moisture, and unfortunately, on my skin, it felt dry yet greasy.. Since I usually use foundation or cushion in shades 18 to 19, I couldn't really notice much of a tone-up effect on my skin tone. As it's a 'bare face cream', the coverage isn't high, so you'll need to use some concealer along with it to create a flawless fake bare face look... hehe

But after testing it on my family members, I found that even those with #22-23 skin tones can apply it smoothly, and it blends well over time. - It absorbs well and applies smoothly. If you apply it following your skin texture, it doesn't pill at all! - It definitely evens skin tone effectively. - It provides natural coverage, making it convenient for a foundation-free routine. As this product allows a bit of oil to come through over time, using a tone-up (lavender or tinted) powder compact makes it last longer and works great. - It doesn't cause any blemishes! The photos show before and after use! I couldn't include face photos this time because I'm having a bit of a breakout. My hand is quite pale, so the brightening effect might not be very noticeable, but you can see that it even covers light veins to some extent! I think this Ailenol product is the best among the foundation-free creams I've tried so far, with its natural peachy tone and good coverage. Tone-up cushions can sometimes make you look pale or float on the skin if not applied correctly.
Cons- There's a slight darkening effect over time, so even those with darker skin tones might be able to use the 1.0 shade. - Oil comes through later, making skin look a bit greasy. You'll need to touch up with powder later!
TipAs this product allows a bit of oil to come through over time, using a tone-up (lavender or tinted) powder compact makes it last longer and works great.

That's when I discovered the Irénol No-Makeup Cream! True to its name, it's perfect for those times you want to look like you're not wearing makeup while still enhancing your complexion! If you already have great skin, a small amount will make it look even better. As for me, with my blemishes, pores, dark spots, and slightly yellowish skin, it evened out my skin tone but felt a bit floaty. Still, it provides a decent amount of brightening and a natural-looking finish! What I really appreciated was that it didn't cause any breakouts, small bumps, or inflamed acne (my skin usually reacts with at least one of these when trying new products). Although I'll mention this in the downsides, for me personally, it was a plus: With my combination dehydrated skin, after some activity and movement, there's a slight shine, but not an oily mess. Instead, it gives a bit of a glow on the forehead! Without this cream, my skin looks plain, but with it, my complexion appears more hydrated! Lastly, for the best results, apply this to skin free of dead skin cells to avoid any noticeable texture.
ConsThe coverage is somewhat lacking, and those with oily skin might find it too shiny. The texture and feel during application are a bit disappointing too. Rather than spreading smoothly, it tends to clump slightly.
TipMake sure to do your skincare routine thoroughly! Although it has sun protection, I still applied my regular sunscreen as well.

Gives the impression it'll strengthen your skin barrier when applied. 🩵Texture and application: Beautiful ivory color! I couldn't use it alone more than once due to my shade 22 skin with blemishes. It applies smoothly with a hydrating feel, and once fully applied, it leaves a subtle glow without any heavy residue. I tried applying with both fingers and sponge, but due to my skin texture, I preferred using a sponge. 🩵Overall impression: I was really excited to try this product and I'm pleased with the pretty color and skin finish! It applies moisturizing but not sticky, and gives a nice glow. The coverage is on the lighter side, so it might be perfect for those with smooth skin who just want to brighten their complexion.
Cons🔺 A pointed nozzle would be more hygienic and easier for controlling the amount. 🔺 It doesn't control oil well, so not recommended for very oily skin types. (It was fine on my cheeks, but made my forehead and nose look too shiny.)
TipTry applying it with a sponge or mix it with a drier, more matte foundation!

Not only does it brighten my complexion, but there's also no darkening effect, which I absolutely love! It's perfect for those days when you don't feel like putting on makeup - just swipe this on and you're good to go. It's so convenient and provides better coverage than I expected!
ConsOne downside is that you need to make sure your skincare products are fully absorbed before applying this, otherwise it might pill a bit. However, when I layered light skincare products and then applied this, it worked wonderfully! I have combination skin, and I think those with very oily skin might find it a bit rich.
TipIt's more moisturizing than I expected, so I finish with Laneige powder, which leaves my skin looking flawless! This technique might be helpful for those with oily skin too!

It applies smoothly, making for a pleasant user experience. - Coverage and Longevity: It offers subtle coverage. While it can't conceal deep pigmentation or blemishes, it naturally covers light freckles and spots. The staying power is moderate, but it tends to melt quickly in oily areas. - Scent and Packaging: The subtle, pleasant fragrance makes it comfortable to use. The tube packaging is convenient for easy application. - Color and Recommended Skin Type: The light shade is suitable for those with 19-21 complexion. Its hydrating formula would be particularly satisfying for those with dry skin.
ConsIf you have oily skin, you might find it a bit rich. However, as someone with dry skin, I found it perfect for use during cold weather.
TipIt's great for touch-ups as it doesn't feel heavy when reapplied.

Positives: ✅ Natural brightening effect. Although it's recommended for those with fair skin, it provides a natural brightening effect even for my complexion (I typically use 20-21 shade). ✅ Smooth application. Glides on effortlessly without leaving any white cast or patchiness, resulting in a flawless finish.
Cons✅ Feels quite rich. It seems they've added a lot of oils for smooth application, which might be challenging for those with oily skin. Even for me, who tends to be dry even in summer, it felt quite rich. It left my skin quite dewy, making powder application a must.
Tip✅ Powder is absolutely necessary. The glow is too intense to use without setting powder.
