When applied over a well-prepped base, it gives a beautiful, natural-looking finish - perfect for those rushed mornings!
ConsIf your skin is dry, it might emphasize dead skin cells. You need to be careful with the amount you apply.
TipSqueeze out a small amount and spread it evenly across your face.

However, it definitely had a slightly thicker texture, reminiscent of BB cream. Because of this, those with dry skin might feel a bit of dryness after some time. A little goes a long way in brightening your complexion, so don't squeeze out as much as you would with your regular sunscreen..! I squeezed out a coin-sized amount and was shocked.. Since I don't have major blemishes, it's hard for me to give a detailed assessment of its coverage, but it did somewhat cover and fill in blackheads and pores. It definitely works for evening out skin tone! It gives about a 1-2 shade brighter effect. After a few minutes, you can feel it adhering to your skin, but make sure to exfoliate well before using this bare-face cream. When I applied it without exfoliating, it emphasized my dead skin cells a bit.. So I recommend patting it in with a puff rather than applying with your hands! This way, it's less likely to pill and absorbs better. Using a damp puff works even better!
ConsThe fact that it emphasized dead skin cells was a bit disappointing. I think it might be less noticeable if you control the amount well!

At first glance, it seemed like a BB cream, but when applied to the skin, it felt more like a sunscreen. Although the cream color appears closer to skin tone, once applied it had a white cast similar to sunscreen. Due to its tinted formula, it does provide some coverage. As it's a 1.0 shade, it seems to work better on lighter skin tones. The texture is smooth and applies easily.
ConsPerhaps because my skin has become very dry recently, it immediately accentuated my dead skin cells when applied. Even after exfoliating, it felt like something between a sunscreen and a BB cream, making it seem like an ambiguous product. I usually apply a mineral sunscreen followed by BB cream, and I'm not sure if this product suits me enough to replace my usual routine. If it works well with your skin type, it could be convenient to use when you only need sunscreen.

If you look at the photo of my clenched fist, the left side has nothing applied, while the right side has the Ailenol No-Makeup Cream. As you can see, it gives a subtle glow when applied. This prevents the skin from looking dry. It's perfect for a quick, foundation-free look when you need to dash out!
ConsDon't expect heavy coverage! It's closer to a brightening moisturizer. Rather than using the Ailenol No-Makeup Cream as a base for makeup, it's better suited for use on its own. Depending on your skincare routine, it might slightly emphasize pores, and some may find it a bit drying.
TipIt's crucial to control the amount you apply. Otherwise, it might make your skin look too white, or depending on your skin type, it could appear oily over time. For those who find it doesn't suit their face well, applying it to the neck could be a good alternative.

After applying sunscreen, it has a calming effect on the face. It doesn't feel like you're wearing makeup at all, just like a brightening moisturizer. I tried splashing some water on it, and it's kind of... waterproof? Also, it doesn't seem to rub off easily, so it might be great for summer. Seems like it would hold up well against sweat!
ConsMy skin tone is between 22 and 23, but the 1.0 shade feels more like a 17. So it kind of sits on top of my skin. I'd like to try the 2.0 shade. Also, it feels a bit... how should I put it... not exactly moisturizing. On days when I've skimped on my skincare routine and used this like a brightening moisturizer with cushion foundation on top, it really accentuates my vertical pores. Though that could just be my pore issue.
TipBecause of the dry feeling, I apply moisturizer twice before using this. Mixing it with an essence-type sunscreen also works well and is convenient. Applying it right after basic skincare (toner, emulsion, cream) without sunscreen doesn't absorb well into the skin. For me, the best method was mixing it with sunscreen and applying it thinly in two layers. It's a bit of a hassle, but it works!

I often went bare-faced because of this. Ironically, trying to cover up would only make my skin look darker than it actually is... Then I discovered tone-up creams, but they were so sticky! I thought that's just how they were supposed to be, but this one is different! It's not sticky at all, and it amazingly evens out my skin tone in a natural way, even with my yellow undertones. I usually use shades 20-21, and this seems to be a perfect match. It absorbs well immediately with great adherence and no stickiness. I'd definitely recommend it for those with oily skin!
ConsThe coverage was somewhat disappointing. Though, to be fair, it is a brightening moisturizer, so I shouldn't have expected much coverage. While it's not sticky and feels powdery, it does tend to emphasize dead skin cells a bit. I found that applying it with a cream helps with this issue. The staying power seems a bit lacking too. When I rubbed it, it came off easily. I wouldn't really recommend this for those with dry skin.
TipFor best results, apply a generous amount of moisturizer beforehand or use on damp skin. This helps it spread evenly and beautifully without emphasizing flaky patches.
