Rice bran really agrees with my skin, so I've used On The Body and Earth Love for months, even years, but this is the best. It truly refines my skin texture. It's surprisingly light for its size... When I first opened it and pressed down, I could feel air inside. - nw********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 27, 2025
Personally, I think it's quite good. I'm on my second bottle now, and it's great for getting rid of dead skin cells. If you don't rinse thoroughly, you might find white clumps stuck in your hair, so just be careful about that! - ti*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMay 13, 2025
This product is truly amazing! I was considering trying an enzyme powder, but heard it was a hassle to mix with water and difficult to store in humid places. So I bought this foam cleanser with papain, and it's had an incredible effect on my skin texture. First off, it has a subtle, pleasant rice-sweet scent that puts me in a good mood. The texture is soft and fluffy, lathering up nicely. The cleansing power seems great too! I first use a cleansing water with cotton pads to remove makeup, then follow up with this foam cleanser, which removes everything. Now for the most important part - the results! Right after cleansing, my skin feels smooth and refined. The flakiness and dead skin cells that used to ruin my base makeup have significantly decreased. Applying skincare afterwards feels different - it absorbs better. The texture on my nose area has really improved too. Using this just makes my skin feel amazing! While my previous cleanser was gentle and slightly exfoliating, this one effectively removes dead skin cells with noticeable results after just one use. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting quick results. Even if you have a main cleanser you use often, this is great to keep as a backup for when your skin needs extra care. I bought it for that purpose, but it's become my go-to cleanser! First off, the amount of product is quite small. The dispenser opening is large, so you end up using more than necessary (partly due to the texture). While the container is bigger than the actual product volume due to the enzyme formulation, it runs out way too quickly. I thought it was affordable, but you use it up much faster than other cleansers - about 3 times as fast for the same volume. Also, while the website says it's okay for daily use, I wonder if that's really true given how effective it is. That said, I haven't experienced any irritation, redness, or weakening of my skin barrier even with continuous use. Enzymes work best in warm conditions and when given time to act. For best results, create a lather with this cleanser when your bathroom is steamy from the shower. Apply it to your face and leave it on for a short while before rinsing. In my experience, this doubles the effectiveness! - by********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 7, 2025
I've been a fan of the original Numbers 1 Cleansing Oil, so I decided to try this new product that claims to have 3-in-1 functionality. Here's how you can use its three functions: 1. Apply it as a mask on areas with excess sebum or dead skin cells 2. Gently massage it with a bit of water to use as an exfoliating scrub 3. Mix it with water in a 1:1 ratio to create a foam for daily cleansing The texture is soft and powdery. It seems to help even out rough skin texture. The product runs out faster than expected, making it feel wasteful to use all over the face. While it does seem to help with rough skin texture, I'll be going back to the original Number 1 product. - wo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 5, 2025
While it's challenging to completely remove heavy makeup, I love that it effortlessly takes off my everyday makeup without needing a second cleanse. It claims to exfoliate, cleanse, and mask all at once, and I've noticed my skin feels slightly smoother after using it. The scent isn't my favorite, but I'm so satisfied with everything else that I keep using it. If you're a fan of pack cleansers, this seems like an affordable option that offers similar effects. - 07********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 19, 2025
During the mask process, it didn't become too stiff and gently managed only the necessary dead skin cells. The cleansing effectiveness was also good. Even with the rice-like particles, the foam felt incredibly gentle. My face became soft and smooth, and it effectively removed dead skin cells. Despite the drawbacks mentioned below, I used it all up as shown in the photo above... I finished it voluntarily. I plan to buy it again, regardless of whether my skin reacts or not. There were times when it felt irritating during use, and my skin did react. When I looked for the cause, I realized it might be due to the Centella Asiatica, as my skin tends to react when I use products containing Houttuynia Cordata or Centella. Those with sensitive skin should check for Centella Asiatica in the ingredients. Also, when exfoliating (when slightly wet), it felt like rubbing rice on my face? It felt a bit sticky. It was just a bit uncomfortable, but not irritating. As mentioned above, those with sensitive skin should check for Centella Asiatica in the ingredients. If it doesn't suit you, your skin might react like mine did. But if you keep using it, you'll find yourself unable to resist the charm of this gommage foam, sacrificing your skin condition for that soft, smooth feeling... - fk*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 9, 2025
It definitely helps improve skin texture. However, for those with oily skin and excess sebum, it may not be the most effective for oil control. The product volume is quite small, and as you use it, it becomes really difficult to squeeze out the remaining product. - le*********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 6, 2025
This is totally my style! First off, I was amazed that it doesn't sting my eyes at all, probably because it's made with rice as the main ingredient. I guess that means the ingredients are gentle, right? That's why I reach for it more often. It's great! Initially, I roll it on without water, then mix in some water as I go. The foam becomes rich, making cleansing a real treat. I definitely plan to buy it again. There's not really anything to complain about. Just make sure to rinse it off thoroughly! - ia*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 4, 2025
Texture and Feel: The rich, creamy lather allows for a gentle cleansing experience. The fine bubbles effectively remove impurities while being incredibly mild on the skin, causing minimal irritation. After rinsing, my complexion looks brighter and feels soft and smooth. I'm extremely satisfied with how this product performs. Ingredients: Thanks to the rice extract, my skin appears smoother and more radiant after cleansing (though this effect may not be long-lasting). Unlike products with harsh chemical cleansing agents, this gentle formula seems suitable even for super sensitive skin. Cleansing Effectiveness & After-feel: It thoroughly removes makeup residue while leaving the skin soft and hydrated, without any drying sensation. The low irritation makes me reach for it frequently. I find it works even better when I apply it while brushing my teeth and then rinse. One wash is usually enough for a thorough cleanse, though it's not an intensely deep cleansing experience. Overall Impression: This foam cleanser effectively cleanses while maintaining skin hydration! The soft lather makes the cleansing process comfortable, and my skin feels moisturized and not tight after rinsing. Given the product's characteristics, the container is quite large, but it feels like there's a lot of empty space (filled with air). Despite the big packaging, it seems to run out quickly. Try applying it while brushing your teeth, spreading it on your face and leaving it for a bit before rinsing with water. This method produces abundant lather and offers a slight mask-like effect. - i_*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsJan 14, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I didn't experience any extreme dryness or discomfort when using this product. I bought this after a YouTuber raved about it, but I honestly can't understand why it's so popular. There's not a single thing I particularly liked about it. Especially towards the end, it becomes incredibly difficult to squeeze out the product. The packaging is also inconveniently large compared to the amount of product inside. They suggest using it as a mask and in other ways, but none of these methods impressed me. It's the kind of cleanser that makes you wonder why you spent money on it at this price point.
