  Pros

  Once done, it cools down immediately, pores shrink, and it's not too stimulating, with long-lasting moisturization, so I think I'll stick with this going forward.

  It's just a shame that it wears out too quickly, isn't it? Well, if I had to pick one,

  Before makeup, leaving a face pack-like product on the face to cool it down and then doing the makeup really helps the makeup apply well. It makes the skin moisturized as well.

  Highly recommended! First off, it's incredibly convenient to use! You can use a whole sheet, but it's designed to be split in half, making it perfect for applying to the chin or philtrum. After about a minute of application, you'll feel a soothing sensation on your skin with an amazing cooling effect. It's like your pores are tightening up. Even when I'm feeling a bit lazy before work, I find myself reaching for these without hesitation. They're that easy to use! Also (TMI alert), at first I was concerned the typical tingling sensation from the pads might irritate my skin. But here's the interesting part - I absent-mindedly cleaned my hard lenses with my hands after touching the pad and put them in my eyes. Surprisingly, there was no discomfort at all! It was a fascinating experience for me. Usually, when cosmetics get into your eyes, especially if they're strong enough to give that tingling sensation described in the product instructions, you'd expect some irritation. But not only did I not tear up, the cooling sensation felt like it was cleansing my eyeballs! Anyway, this experience made me think the ingredients must be really gentle. Out of curiosity, I checked the ingredient list on the Hwahae app, and sure enough, it looks great. In short, if you have skin that tends to get hot easily, or if you have super sensitive skin but want to try pads, go for these right away!

  There weren't really any downsides to speak of - I was that satisfied with the product.

  Pros

  The last two photos show the before and after results! This product does it all - it's hydrating, cooling, and effective! Hydration: I was worried it might focus solely on cooling since it's called a cooling pad, but it's really great! It's moisturizing and refreshing. After removing it, my pores seem slightly reduced, and it's definitely effective and suitable for my skin. Adherence & Size: I thought each sheet was large, but upon closer inspection, there's a dotted line for cutting it in half! So I can use a whole sheet for my forehead or cheeks, and cut it for my chin or nose. The adjustable size allows for customized application, and it adheres well to the skin. Cooling Effect: I tend to have a lot of heat in my forehead area, which often leads to acne there. Even when I applied cold packs before, it would still feel hot, which was a concern. However, true to its name as a cooling pad, it stays cool even while it's on and after removal! I love it so much! This is my favorite feature.

  Cons

  Container: The pads are quite wide, so the square container is fine. However, the lid doesn't screw on but rather flips open, and it doesn't secure well, sometimes opening entirely. This makes me worry that the ampoule might dry out during use. + While the cooling effect works great for me, I'm not sure how it might affect those with super sensitive skin!

  Tip

  It's really great to apply when your face feels hot! And if you layer your skincare right after removing the pad, it's even more hydrating and beneficial!

  When my skin felt hot or flushed, I used this product and immediately felt a cooling sensation as soon as I applied the pad. It seemed to calm my skin quickly. After leaving it on for about 5-10 minutes and removing it, my skin felt hydrated and comfortable, which was very satisfying. I loved how it didn't feel sticky and left a fresh finish. When I kept it in the refrigerator and used it, the cooling effect was even more intense. This product seems great for easy care when your skin is sensitive or when your pores appear enlarged. <3-week review> I mainly applied it around the sides of my nose where my pores are enlarged, and my skin feels firmer! I'll need to use it more to be sure, but I can definitely feel it tightening my pores. I didn't notice at first, but the pad is so soft that I found myself using it frequently. It's that gentle on the skin. My skin feels soothed, the heat is reduced, and my complexion has improved! For reference, I don't have time to use it in the morning, so I use it at night.

  Cons

  This isn't really a downside, but I'm mentioning it because first-time users might be surprised by how strong the warming sensation is. That's what makes it so effective when your skin feels hot.

  Tip

  The sheet can be torn in half, so I tear it and put one half on my nose and around it. Lately, I've been getting blemishes on my cheeks, so I've been using the tea tree pad to soothe them. Also, when my cheeks feel hot, putting this on really cools them down.

Given this routine, I always prioritize hydration. This product is great for targeting both vertical and horizontal pores while being gentle enough to use without causing dryness or irritation. As the weather gets warmer, I usually keep toner pads in the fridge to reduce skin heat before makeup application. However, with this product, I didn't need to do that - its cooling effect was impressive on its own.

  While I didn't experience any skin irritation, my sibling with a weaker skin barrier had slight redness. It doesn't seem to contain cooling ingredients, but the redness disappeared after a day.

  This is a lightweight pad product. Each sheet feels incredibly thin, but it's well-soaked in essence, so you don't get the feeling that it dries out quickly when using. I thought it was clever that they perforated each sheet so you can split it into two, allowing for more versatile use. I've always been more concerned about the pores on the sides of my nose near my cheekbones rather than on my nose itself. I tore one sheet in half, placed each piece on those areas for about 10 minutes, then patted it in like you would with an exfoliating toner. After using it for over a week, I definitely felt a tightening effect. I didn't expect the pore size to actually decrease, but I noticed a significant improvement. One day, I used it like an exfoliating toner and didn't apply anything else afterwards. I was surprised to find that my skin didn't feel dehydrated, making me think this could be enough on its own for summer use. It's amazing how it cools down your face temperature while still providing hydration. I think I'll be relying on this product all summer long. There's plenty of essence in each pad, so even after you've used all the sheets, you could probably get about 20 more uses by adding cotton pads to the leftover essence.

  Rather than the performance being disappointing, I just felt the pad size was slightly awkward. I wish they were just a tiny bit larger.

  The cooling effect is incredible even without refrigeration! What's more, I could actually see my enlarged pores shrinking instantly. It's the best pore treatment I've used in my 30 years of life! Plus, it's super thin and can be cut in half, making it perfect for adjusting the size for different areas like the forehead, chin, or nose. It's such a clever idea! I'll definitely repurchase.
