  I was expecting a cool, hydrating sensation since the product emphasizes its cooling effect, but I was surprised to feel a stimulating minty tingle. The pads are incredibly thin, densely soft, and gentle enough to use as an exfoliating toner without any irritation. They adhere perfectly when used as a mask. Best of all, you can tear them to easily mask different areas like the chin or nose. It's amazing for soothing the skin. Once, after using an AHA softener that left my face very red and puffy, I applied this as a mask. Remarkably, it calmed all the redness and even made my complexion brighter. I'll definitely use this after softeners or whenever my skin gets too flushed. Also, I usually don't prefer scented pads, so I appreciated that these are fragrance-free.

  While I expected a cool, hydrating sensation due to the product's emphasis on its cooling effect, I was surprised by the stimulating minty tingle. Perhaps because of this sensation, there is a bit of irritation on the skin. Although it didn't cause blemishes or skin reactions, it can sting a little if you have even minor scratches. My skin usually feels a bit dry, but when I apply skincare products, I suddenly feel intense tingling (even with products I've used without issues before). Please keep in mind that my skin condition has changed when comparing this product's effectiveness to other pads I've tried. Ingredients: As someone who struggled with blemishes and hyperpigmentation in school, I prefer products without the 20 caution ingredients listed by Hwahae. I appreciated that this product has skin-friendly ingredients! Packaging/Container/Convenience: Like many cosmetic companies nowadays, this product seems to use recycled paper and ink for packaging. The square pads come in a square container with built-in tweezers, which is convenient as you don't need to store them separately. While the container itself isn't particularly pretty, it's practical! Scent: The scent is nearly undetectable, so it shouldn't be an issue for anyone! Pad/Adhesion: I like that there's a perforation allowing you to split the pad in two! And wow, these pads stick like crazy! They're thin and transparent, adhering so well that when I playfully threw one at the wall, it actually stayed put. This is great for toner masking - you can go about your business while it's on. Texture/Application: Some pads have an emulsion-like texture, but this one is closer to water. As someone who dislikes stickiness, I really enjoyed this texture. There was zero stickiness!
